I found Destriero Caduto (930k HP) during a Venthyr Assault in The Maw (I don't know if the venthyr assault is a requeriment).
The Hourse spawns in Crucible of the Damned and run to The Tremaculum after that run all The Maw until despawn around Korthia entrance.
Has chance to drop the mount Redini del Destriero Caduto.

Coming hotfix will make this mount have 3x than usual Dropchance which adds up to about 15%, and can only be killed once per day per character!

item=186659] is obtained by a killing a rare spawn called Destriero Caduto.
This rare spawns around every very rarely, but around every 4 hours on average, in different locations depending on which assault is currently active. If a Venthyr or Night Fae Assault is up it'll spawn in Crucible of the Damned at around /way 16.27, 49.49 in the maw . Necrolord Assault is up it'll spawn out of the Altar of Domination at /way 27.9, 62.9. I am yet to discover where it spawns and it's route when a Kyrian assault is up.

Fastest spawn I've seen: 1h 5m
Slowest I've seen: 14h
Most frequent: around 8h
Average: 6h 45m

It’ll make a zonewide announcement when it spawns saying: An Earsplitting whinny echoes across the maw as the fallen charger begins it’s ride

And when it reaches Korthia and despawns it’ll make another zonewide announcement saying: Fallen Charger releases a final mournful whinny as it fades away.

Venthyr Assault Route:
After spawning in Crucible of the damned It’ll run along to the Tremaculum, down past venari’s refuge, into the beastwarrens. It’ll pass by Desmotaeron, which is the new maw area in 9.1. And head for Korthia. If it reaches Korthia It’ll despawn. A big Star on your map will show you it’s current location all the time.

Also venthyr Assault Route:
Same starting point in Crucible of the Damned, this route it'll take the southern path. Basicly it just follows the most southern road on the map, but avoids going into Perdition's Hold, and despawns at the other entrance for Korthia.

Necrolord Assault Route:

Night Fae Assault Route: Same as Venthyr

It runs rather fast, when mounted you possibly won’t be able to catch up to it if it gets ahead of you, but it will stop when engaged in combat. I suggest either standing right on top of the spawnpoint. I also recommend Have a Cypher of Relocation in your bags, in case it gets too far ahead of you, for a quick catchup at venari’s refuge. If you get in combat with it, you can move far away from where you got aggro, and it’ll reset back to the position where it got in combat.

Once you finally catch it, you’ll be engaged in a rather long and medium to easy difficulty fight. It’s got around 800k hp per person attacking. It’s got 3 Abilites. Crushing hooves which is basically a hard hitting tank mechanic. Fallen Riders is the ability you want to look out for. It’ll spawn ghost riders for each person in the encounter. These riders will fixate you, and if they reach you, they’ll most likely 1hit KO you with 46k dmg. The last ability is swiftness, and i have absolutely no idea what this does, cause I am a god at interrupts. So i guess if you’re bad you’ll know.

As for the dropchance I am still not sure. I recieved the mount on my first kill ever, but was the only one out of 3 ppl killing it. I've now killed it 4 times with 21ppl in total and seen 2 mounts drop including my own.

This is 1 of 8 mounts coming in patch 9.1 Chains of Domination, that can be farmed on a daily basis. This means 1 kill per day per character for a chance at recieving the mount. The fallen charger can actually be killed as many times per day as you want.

~~This rare can be farmed multiple times per day for the mount, even on the same character. Got mine to drop after 2 kills on the same character.~~

EDIT: This has since been hotfixed to only be lootable once per day, as killing the rare will now incur a daily lockout. The drop rate for the mount has been increased by 3 times. In addition, it will now drop maw-related items on kill.

I started a wait group 14:45 today and the Fallen Charger spawned 22:40, Which means clearly it's atleast a 8 hour max spawn time on live and not 6 like some other comment say. 3 out of 40 people got the mount. GL

I have been waiting for this mount for about 7+ hours now. Some of the first people who joined in the same group as me say it was previously killed around 11 am server time and its currently 7:47 pm server. Hopefully the spawn timer is not over 8 hours as that can be a horrible wait if it comes to it. Good luck out there everyone, I will update when it spawns.

Edit: Finally spawned at 9:00 pm server exactly. Nobody got the mount. :(

This rare does not always spawn at the same location. In fact 2 out of 3 kills it spawned somewhere else so make sure you pay attention to the zone message to not miss it and get to it in time.
I did not get the mount yet but the droprate doesnt seem too bad ive seen 5 people in total get it.
The thing that makes this mount annoying is the long respawn rate.
Longest ive seen was 8h so it should be 1.5-8ish h propably an average of 6h.

Day 1: It's been 7 hours since I've joined this raid to slay the beast for a chance to mount the noble golden steed. The people are weary, some have fallen, but we regroup and continue to wait. I've lost count how many times we killed Lord Dretnal and his servant, must be in the hundreds. Whenever we feel down, our fearless shaman leader, Donovan, boosts our spirits up every 10 min with bloodlust. It's a drug that keeps me going, but the effects are starting to lose its strength. Nevertheless, we continue to wait, continue to hold onto hope. Hope that we will mount that golden steed.

Hi,

I found the rare running around the fire place near Ve'nari's refuge. It was extremly fast, meaning I was actually running after it for quite some time before I could tag it. Created a group, invited 39 people, and we started killing it. It evaded once (most likely bugged since he stood in the same place pretty much).

Out of 40 people, I was the only one that got the mount. Screenshot. I'm actually really surprised, because it's such a good looking mount! I hate horses, but this one is absolutely stunning!

I also talked to a few friends, that participated in a kill in full raid groups. and also said that the mount dropped for max 1-3 people. Judging by that, I would assume the drop chance is abit lower than 9% (as stated by Wowhead and Simplearmory), making it something from 3-5%. This is ofcourse just my personal assumption since the sampe size is too small to confirm anything for sure.

I'm unsure where it actually spawned, but we caught it at 32,00, 44.15.

Resapwn is hard to calculate 1-10h on server. Can spawn in many places ( not only where you have assault ).

You have 2 ways to get him:

- Find raid farming group;
- Find Rare and make a raid to kill him and in the meantime, checking if anyone has found and join his group.

has anyone seen it spawn at the same time as tormentors or carriage? Could they share a spawn timer? (i know tormentors are every 2 hours)

waited 7 hours and then the server shutdown happened. during this time i did not see carriage crusher or Fallen Charger only Tormentors every 2 hours then Wrath of the jailer every hour inbetween.

I highly recommend downloading the addon "rarescanner", you can use it to highlight on your map the spawn locations as when it does spawn it's random and there is a bit of a mad dash trying to find out where it is.

What my group did was split up once it spawned, tagged it & waited for everyone to get there before burning it down. I saw on here a comment that if the night fae invasion is up that it'll spawn in the crucible of the damned (and we were all waiting there) but it ended up spawning to the west of Ve'nari's refuge.

We had a group of 39 and in total 3 people got the mount.

Also if you're wondering if this mount can fly, I tested it and sadly it does not!

My group waited for a total of 9 hours for this mount today. We gathered round a campfire, shared our Elegon mounts, created a forest from wandering ancient mounts, cried together. After many long hours, Blizzard ran maintenance and none of us got the mount.

Words cannot describe my sadness, rip tree gang.

11 ir 12 tires in the span of 2-4 hours (i joined a camp group, biggest error)

Just type fallen in LFG, and spam refresh until you end up with someone who got it up, you can try it every day

Saw groups waiting for more than 12H, while the earliest i've seen it spaw was on my server, with only 4h (ish) between spawns

To the people who nuke the rare the moment they engage with it and ignore anyone else telling them to wait for a min or two for the whole group to get there: I sincerely and wholeheartedly wish you never get a rare spawn ever again. If you lack the decency to wait for a bit after being invited yourself in a group with others, you absolutely do no deserve anything.

Got mine on ~20 kills. Tip: Don't make wait groups. Type "fallen" in group search and refresh while hanging around mid-point between crucible, refuge and tremaculum. Quickly apply and pray that you get accepted to "up" groups. If not at spawn, it could be anywhere from tremaculum, refuge, peredition hold, or if you're really unlucky and they have let him run too long, beastwarrens. From mid point, you can reach most of these spots before they kill it, or you can warp to refuge using cypher or hearth to korthia and run north. In the span of the 4-6 hours I've seen some wait groups exist I've killed anywhere from 2-6 chargers depending on whether I'm doing other things and not actively refreshing group search. I got in to about 7/10 groups applied.

Randomly spawned infront of me when doing a maw daily. Listed the group and my game almost crashed with how many people were signing up and whispering me. Got the mount on the first try and even had someone whispering me to go die.

10/10 experience.

If you're trying to farm this mount, don't join a wait group. You could be waiting 10+ hours.

Instead, sit in Ve'nari's Refuge with Warmode ON and keep refreshing group finder with "up" or "charger up" or something similar. Join group, find out if they have Warmode on or off, and switch it off if needed. Then go and kill the horse. It's a lot more involved but a lot more rewarded. I managed to join 7 groups in about 15 minutes and got the mount. Before that, I was waiting in wait groups for hours for nothing.

EDIT: Take the following info as you will. The drop chance has been changed and it is now a daily lockout.
Decided to fully dedicate myself to farming this today. It took me 72 tries to get Redini del Destriero Caduto. I usually see between 0 to 4 mounts in a 40 man raid drop; on average I would say that 3 would drop every single kill. Here are my tips:

Do NOT camp for it. It sometimes takes up to 10+ hours to spawn. In this time, you can be killing 50-70 of Destriero Caduto.
Instead, use LFG and type "fall". Try to sort out the "camp" groups the best way you can, and make sure you instantly apply to "up" groups. Many of them will be fake, though.
Always switch to Warmode ON and stay in front of Ven'ari. In case you join a WM Off group, simply switch it off right there.
After getting a kill, use the Oribos Waystone, then portal to Org/SW, turn warmode on, take portal back to Oribos, and jump into the Maw.
Make sure you make use of your Wormhole teleporter (the "maw" teleport is right side of one of its spawn), Silver Shardhide Whistle (super fast mount-toy, make sure you cancel the buff after 15ish seconds), and your Cypher of relocation.

Dropped for me today on my 25th kill. 19 of those kills it had spawned around The Tremaculum area with the other 6 being at the Crucible Of The Damned. It was my 7th kill of the day on my main.

vibing here with a couple of full 40 man groups for 9 hours. Conversation sways between anal jokes and lore theory trash (e.g. Arthas is the son of Gandalf ect.)
I am very scared that this mount will die too fast for me to tag it. Anyways. This is absurd, we got an Elegon-wall here, a forrest and a bunch of articunos on a cliff.
Everytime the Assault Carriage spawns everyone gets a heart attack, remove it please.
Also GM, make the horse spawn.

After farming this mount for approximately 7+ hours, I developed a technique to make acquiring this elusive mount a little bit easier.
This isn't going to be a painless process, it took me 36 kills and a spare couple I couldn't keep track of at the time, but be patient and you'll eventually get it.

First and foremost, turn on your warmode and sit in Ve'nari's Refuge. You'll be able to access the 'warmode on' groups, or quickly turn it off and access the 'warmode off' groups. (wm / wm off).

Just to be safe, buy a Cypher of Relocation from Ven'ari to make sure you can teleport back to the Refuge at any point.

Don't bother wasting your time with the common 'group waiting' or 'group camping' groups in the custom section, you'll be with 39-40 other people waiting at one chance for a kill.

Instead, go to the custom section of the group finder and type in 'fallen' or 'charger'. Hit that 'search again' button until you see a group titled 'fallen charger up' or 'fallen charger'. (most of the waiting groups will have the title 'waiting' in them.

To Add to the Statistics I just camped this from

Wich makes for a camping time of 13 hours and 51 Minutes
We peaked at 150 people around midnight, building elegon walls, and forrests
over the course of the following 7 hours poulations shrank to down to ~70 in 2 raid groups ~ 15 afk
around 60 people came to loot the mount, we had 3 drops, confirming the 4.91 % loot chance we have on wowhead right now
The best part ist vibing with people. I didnt get the mount but i had a great time, from anal jokes to climbing the tower at crucible of the damned over hours
big love to enhancing, baroqt and many more

wait for up groups if your spineless without patience :P

31 tries so far and I still don't have the mount, to me the best place to camp for the rare is on the northernmost bridge near the Tremaculum, you're near 3 common spawn points.
The only downside is you're far from the Perdition Hold and Night Fae Assault points but I've found the rare spawns more frequently where I camp it which is near the second bridge, in the Tremaculum or near Ve'nari's refuge.

I have my 42 Kills so far and still no mount.
In all my groups I myself had the luck for being able to tag, but ppl are sadly pretty selfish. I want to try making you aware of some things to help the whole group get the Kill:

Only auto-hit ONCE, there is no need for dots or high dps attacks. You tagged? Click the target away and stop.
Use your class abilities to help ppl reaching faster: Totems, grips, portals etc.
Make your pets passive! No need for them anyway, they can't even take the hits for too long.
All the taunt classes, taunt him away. This boss' life can be resetted back to 100% as soon as you outkited him from his pulled spot.

The last point is one of the most important to help others to reach. Sadly pets taunt back pretty often, so just keep on and on with taunting. You can directly start at the pull, no need to let him drop before kiting.
In my best groups so far the tanks were able to reset his life 4 times, and even ppl from Korthia were able to reach it.

Side note:
You're seeing another grp forming and asking for you to wait? Then for goodness sake wait! If you tagged already no need to kill him within 10 seconds, you get the loot anyway. Ppl need hours to get that kill, so just wait there for one more minute until also the other grp reached.

Always remember:
If you are in their position, you would love ppl to help you and waiting for you as well. This whole farming is frustrating enough anyway already, there is no need to make it harder than it already is. Give ppl the chance to tag, when they were finally lucky enough joining a grp.

I just got it today 7/3/2021, on the first attempt by joining a shared Fallen Charger in the group finder, he spawned not far from the rare Borr-Geth. There were a total of 3 drops out of a 40 man raid, including mine, good luck guys!

Best way to farm it is: Searching for "Fallen up" and keep serching untill something pops up.
Join it. Kill it. Repeat it. - You would average around 30 kills pr day this way (my estimate). Ocf depends on luck of beeing intivted to groups
DO NOT: sit in camping groups, unless you absolutly cant activly play.

Just did my 10th kill, we got 10 mounts to drop (i got 1)... - So i dont know about that 5% drop chance, seems pretty low :) I know 10 is alot, but we still got around 4 mounts pr kill, which is still more then 5%.

This is unbelievably stupid, I've spent 2 HOURS searching in the finder applying for every group I see, yet declined from every single one, even though I am one of the first to apply? I watch them all fill up within seconds as I am still pending. How is this a thing?

God they need to disable phasing its the worst system they have ever implemented. Was doing tormentors it was upto 60% complete fallen charger goes running by i try chasing it..... phased tormentors now only 2% complete.... charger had no one on him so probably just made it to the end of the zone.

Spawns in the original maw (not Korthia) with a very long and random respawn timer. Here is how you farm it.

1. Position your character at around 30 36 in The Maw
2. Open custom LFG and type in "Charger"
3. Keep refreshing those "wait" and "camp" groups but never join those
4. 2 things can happen:
4.1 - a group in LFG pops where the spawn happened (or a troll) -> try to join
4.2 - it pops on your shard (does a zone-wide emote) -> proceed to make a group in LFG on your own
5. Kill, loot, leave group before you see up to 4 drops for others and get mad that your 30th attempt is a gray trash item yet again.

Repeat till you get it (it is farmable more than once per day on the same char)

Got it after 20ish tries
Both camped for many many hours, more than the supposed spawn timer, and group hopping...

Finally got mine in a war mode on group, after failing to get an invite with war mode off for two days. WMOn fill up pretty slowly compared to WMOff.

Also it can spawn at multiple spots, regardless of the assault.

Got 55 kills today and still not lucky...
here are some helpfull tips:

- dont join camp groups (to get these groups out of the tool you can /ignore the partyleaders of the group)
- if you get rid of the camp groups you cann just search for "fallen"
- always stay near the assault while you try to find a group
- you have to spam the refresh button and sign up in the first 10sec, otherwise don't bother with the group any longer, you wont get in
- you realy have to be patient... it can be a long journey to the mount.....

Ich habe heute, 3.7. bei ca. 34.50, 51.30 im Schlund gestanden, weil ich auf das Peiniger Event gewartet hatte, welches gegen 17 Uhr starten sollte. Ca. 5 - 10 min vor dem Event kam diese Ankündigung im Chat.
Kurz danach, ca. 1-2 min, kam das Ross die Brücke entlang geritten, von der Verdammnis Festung aus und ritt in meine Richtung.
Es kamen glücklicherweise dann auch einige Spieler dazu, damit es schnell umgehauen werden konnte.
Leider hatte ich nur eine graue Kralle oder sowas drinnen.
Fazit: Es kann auch eine andere Route haben, als den großen Bogen um den Schlund herum. Wir hatten den Nachtfaeangriff.

Can confirm Fallen Charger does spawn after an Assualt change. Was in a wait group last night, the assault changed and about 30-40 minutes later the zone-wide emote went out. This guy is brutal to get, good luck all!

A lot of people here have said that it’s better to join “Charger Up” groups, rather than sitting in wait groups. However, it is RIDICULOUSLY difficult to get into these “Up” groups because they fill up soo quickly. I’m starting to feel like I would be better off just waiting.

I sat between Venari and The Tremaculum and spammed the group finder searching "fallen up". I managed to kill Fallen Charger 18 times in 4 hours doing this method and I got the mount on the 18th attempt. The only way of joining groups is to sign up within the first 3/4 seconds.

Even if i'm trying to join a group that was created 0-1 sec ago, it's like 1% chance to get invited with this many ppl farming this. I guess it will be better wait for a month or so.

stand in middle of maw around {29, 38}

wait for groups to appear. i found that the charger spawns at roughly the same time all realms as there was a abundance of groups for 30 mins straight

join groups back to back after killing (some will fill up without you)\

(if group has wm on and you are near waystone you might have enough time to go back to orggrimar and turn it in)

took me about 20ish trys, got it this morning

The next hotfix/update that they do needs to make the Fallen Charger mount fly. That was kind of a letdown after hours of farming and waiting for it to drop.

Ran on me while I was doing the kyrian assault, died as I was fighting Domonous. :D So I rushed back to my corpse as fast as I could, grabbed my stygia and ran after it, it ran the left side of the Zovaal's couldron road and I reached it on the road to the beastwarrens. Made a group while trying to stay alive, died again, invited all I could. In the end got the mount and on my first kill too, what I could tell maybe 4-5 others got the mount too.

Update again: I took a long break, then started to go farm this mount again. I finally obtained it after 108 kills :)

I feel like it spawns more often on Warmode ON. I was trying to get it wm off for a week, rarely saw groups forming. First day i tried WM ON i got it.
It DOES NOT fly..... yet. Fk u blizz let horses fly.

I got this today. I was on my way to the Venthyr assault when I came upon a group trying to kill the Fallen Charger. It took a while to kill and I was wondering if this rare might drop a mount. Anyways, the mount dropped and I thought everyone who tagged the rare got it too.

The worst part is camping for 6hrs, time you could have spent playing the game, only to finally see the emote, realize you picked the wrong spawn point to camp, then use Falling Flame/Goblin Glider to fly over the zone to check out the other spawn points, see nothing, ride around, ask if anyone's seen it, get no answer, then see the goodbye emote.

No idea where it was. No idea if the other faction found it. No body found. No idea if it somehow made it to Korthia.

6hrs wasted afk'ing.

I just want to mention this: Even though you haven't progressed the questline in the Maw with Ve'nari, the mount can STILL be looted! The rare will be shown as an elite for you, but I just looted the mount on a character that had completed zero quests with Ve'nari and it was shown as an elite. You can therefore easily place alts there, and get more than one try in per day :)

I have been doing covenant assaults in the maw. I have been questing and doing covenant quests in the maw since it was available. I have never seen this mount, only it's notification in chat that it has died. Maybe someday, *sighs

Didn't even know this mount existed nor that there was an NPC spawning and roaming around The Maw with a chance to drop it.

I was out on a fresh 60 today going through covenant quests. I went to The Maw following said quests. An event to kill Jailers minions started, announced by Kel'Thuzad I think. I decided "Well awright!". Next thing I know when I'm fighting the final boss minion of the event very close to 'Ve'nari's Refuge'(well myself and some random players in the zone) and some random horse is there during the fight. Looked fancy, and I did indeed wonder if it dropped a mount.

After the boss minion was welcomed to die, The horse was focused on and subsequently defeated, I looted 'em and well there was the mount in the loot window for me.
I also did not see any indicator of the horse spawning nor have I ever I just was fortunate, . . right place, right time to be questing(Kinda the same way I get like50%-70% my achievements and mounts they just kinda happen).

Spent hours in camping groups to only receive a grey item of hooves when we killed it. I had my addons Silverdragon to scare me to death when it spawned and Handynotes which has it's path on the map and spawn locations. I believe Silverdragon has these two. Then on my tenth attempt at camping this for what must
of been a good 60+ hours in total, I received the mount. Patience really is a virtue with this mount but it paid off and now I'm the proud owner of this beautiful
looking mount. I Just wish it could fly too

I am going to get a million downvotes for this, but I have to do it.

Today I finally got around to camping this rare. With an hour left before reset, I was on my main when I noticed a "Fallen Charger UP" group in lfg. I was nowhere close, so I switched to my druid who was in Korthia. Unfortunately, I left my druid by Reliwik, so I was really far away from the spawn. Discouraged, I went ahead and made the journey figuring that it would be a good learning experience for my other alts who would need to start killing this thing daily anyway. I flew all the way to the spot which is in the main maw area by the refuge. When I arrived at the rare it was still at 20% with a big group of alli and horde attacking it. I went in with my bear and tanked it until it died. It dropped two mounts for me and the guy who invited me (thanks again for inv btw)!

Just to recap why you should hate me:
1. This was my first ever kill on the rare.
2. The rare was already spawned when I joined so no waiting required.
3. I flew all the way across Korthia and the Maw to get there late.
4. I only participated in the final 20% of the kill.
5. It actually dropped at least two mounts for my party.

I feel extremely fortunate. I guess dreams can come true. Good luck everyone else!

Spawned at the entrance to Venari's Refuge for me just now. Jumped into the maw and saw this crazy horse just running around in between the cave entrance & Oribos portal.
No one else here, so tagged it and auto attacked for a while whilst Googling the npc. A few others turned up after a while.
Mount dropped for me first time, not sure if the drop chance has gone up since all of these 2021 posts.

UPDATE: Pre-Dragonflight Patch - Two weeks from release.

I wanted to add more to this comment. Today, with the Kyrian Assault up, I joined a camping group right before reset.

BEFORE reset, I grabbed the Kyrian assault and the quest. Then I grabbed 10 of the Trueheart Spears used on the Mawsworn Myrmidons quest. Several other people grabbed them, also.

The Fallen Charger appeared at 8:52 AM PST for my group. He spawned at the Tramaculum; I was at my position in Perdition Hold and made the run-over. He was still at 3/4 life when I arrived.

I was doing a sizable amount of damage as a warrior, but that also had me taking on a lot of aggro. I didn't use the spears because we were waiting for more people to make it to the location. But the minute he turned and I had the little red eyes where he was focused on me, showing he was going to charge, I clicked the action button and stopped him in his tracks. He kept fighting, but he had the spear sticking out for the rest of the time. The spears do 13k damage. Enough of those you don't need a large raid party.

Of the 16 person raid group, four of the raid members received the drop. There were some additional people in the area but not that many. I don't know if he dropped for them.

FINALLY - 1 year, 7 months, 1 day - 580 days since I've been hunting him.
Correct date because I forgot about him being released with the 9.1 release.

For the record, if you make a habit of grabbing the spears, the other "big" elites that are a part of the quests like the Infinite - whatever his name that is a quest from the Revendreth guy, drops quickly with these arrows, especially if you do it as he calls the adds. They work almost like an interrupt.

Sometimes, if you have them on you before you take the flight with Xandria at the end of the assault - it's been a hit or misses whether they let you keep them, you can use them on the Flameforge Colossus at the end. He drops very quickly, also.

Interesting Note to Ponder Tonight - Kyrian Assault

Okay, many tries still with no luck. Tonight I was doing my Maw run on an alt, and he popped up on RareScanner. I was near Ve'nari's cave, and in the past, I've found it's the best place for the encounter because the chances of dying are high, but you can quickly run back to the fight.

I popped my mount to repair after my second death because he was still at 30% health, so I knew I had a few more seconds. Clicking out of my mount, out of habit, I grabbed the spear at the cave entrance during the Kyrian assault.

I jumped back into the fight, and we were able to fight him down to 8% - Going for a Hail Mary because he was ready to charge again - I clicked on the action button for the spear, and the Charger went down at my feet. Don't know if it was the spear or someone got lucky and crit on their final blow. I show on Recount a 7.5% damage from the Trueheart Spear on the final total.

If you find this works, please let me know. It's too bad it's happening the night before the assault is due to end.

Yes, I have to keep stalking the beast in the Maw - a Horde member went away with the drop based on the dancing I saw.

For the record, killing him does not count towards your "Rare Kills" in the Maw.

Just killed during Venthyr Assault on the Tremaculum. He spawned at approx 24, 24 under the bridge. He headed west past the Hulking Enforcer elite on the hill and I tagged at top of hill next to bridge.
Have also seen it spawn at Crucible of the Damned at approx 18, 50 at the top of the stairs during Necrolord Assault on Perdition Hold.

Not sure if it's relevant or RNG, but in a raid of 30 people, I was lead and had 2 assists. We were the only 3 that looted it.

I've had a hard time narrowing down spawns, so hopefully this helps someone. I can't say those are always the spawn points during those invasions, but it's better than nothing. Cheers and good luck on the drop, boys!

ABSOLUTE PRO TIPP for SOLO FARMER

Requirement: It's Venthyr Assault Week

Get the Lady Moonberry Quest Bel trucchetto
Use the quest item Bacchetta di Dama Baccaluna on the charger (best when it's just ridden out of the Tremaculum's main gate due to lots of open space)
Profit

The charger is now shrinked and will do 70% less damage. Don't forget to recast after 60 seconds and be carefull of the fallen rider cast - that will spawn a spectre you want to kill on distance.

Discovered this by pure luck (and a bit of desperation :D) and got my charger on try #1. Good luck y'all out there o/

Today was the first time I got to witness it spawn in a big raid group and luckily on my first attempt I got the drop along with 4 other people in the raid. We weren't a full raid of 40 and not everyone got to the Maw in time, but the 10% drop seems legit.

I hadn't seen this anywhere, but if your character hasn't skipped to Korthia, you won't see the emotes in the chat for things like the Assault Supply Carriage or the Fallen Charger, although you can probably still see and kill them, you won't know they spawned.

This rare is annoying in that it despawns fast and can't be solod unless you're tank/heal spec with lvl 70 blue gear. (or tank/heal in lvl 60-69 with 285+ivlL)

Can anyone confirm whether or not the spawn times have changed since Dragonflight. Also, thought you used to be able to do this as many times as you could find it in a day. On the second kill, i recieved no zone announcement and did not recieve any loot.

I got this mount on my first try in SL without any help so I solo’d it on my ret paladin. I got low on health a few times because of her stun, but other than that it’s doable if you still have only SL exp. With DF base gear you can easily do it.

I farmed this in Shadowlands and many times after Dragonflight came and always with zero luck and drop.
Last week I learned that Torghast doesn't scale up with DF level so I did my Maestro Impeccabile (Blocco 12), that was super easy and not even really that time consuming, and received my Redini del Destriero dei Giurafauce . Good substitute I reckon.

Prior to DF I killed this thing twice and only by chance as I was passing by (right place right time).

So today I decided to get serious and actually start farming this thing. I also happen to have a max lvl toon on a low pop RP server just for farming hard to get stuff. I went in warmode and entered the zone, NPC timer showed that the zone was freshly reset and decided to wait an hour to see if it would spawn. Sure enough it spawned but I missed him as I was solo on this grind. Not fun seeing it run just out of reach from me.

Decided to just afk and come back after 30 mins. After 30 mins I started a group with promise that it would spawn in 30 mins or less and that got people to join quick. Sure enough it spawned as predicted, we killed, got drop. Good day.

You've got a small window where it waits before it despawns.

Was waiting for the Gorged Shadehound to spawn when my Rarescanner went off and the Fallen Charger passed me by. So I scrambled to go after it in hopes to catch it before it's gone, was so happy to see it doesn't despawn immediately when it reaches the end of its path. Luckily I was on my Hunter so I could tag it quickly before it went away.

Got on 2nd try after a entering a new shard that was up for less than one hour. I camped at /way 45.72, 62.57

Have Rarescanner on. It popped at exactly the 1 hour mark. I stayed put watched the mini map until it was close enough to see what direction it was coming from and killed it. Super easy!
