To call Pepe you have to use the toy Richiamo per Uccelli Transdimensionale.

So what happens if you use the item without realising you don't have the whistle - and the tiny staff is consumed? As this is just what I did!

I'm curious, a guild-mate and I got the Tiny Winter Staff at the same time. When I call Pepe (Trans-Dimensional Bird Whistle) mine always comes up as the Ardenweald version (I think I have only that one as a "look" for him). However, my guild-mate gets every random one from her collection, except the Ardenweald version. (yes, we are both Night Fae)

Is there any way to know how many and which Pepe costumes you have gotten?

Read the Tooltip, folks. This is NOT a Toy, it just enhances the Trans-Dimensional Bird Whistle to give Pepe a chance to spawn in wearing a different outfit. This is the same thing as the Tiny Ninja Shroud, Tiny Pirate Hat, Tiny Viking Helmet, etc. You won't see a toy in your collection except for the Bird Whistle.
