There are three Larion pets added in Shadowlands! All of them related to the Bastion Zone.

Coraggio There are Larion Cubs that run around at /way 57.29, 39.28. You need 5 players total to click the Larion cubs that are running around at the same time for Courage to spawn. Once he does, you can right click on him and he'll jump in your bags!

It says it drops off of Courage. He must be roaming around somewhere and you can click/loot him. I will update with TomTom location if I come across him.

A Kyrian covenant follower has to summon Cavaliere di Larion Orstus but anyone can tag/loot it.

Just got this on EU 10/01-2021. Larionrider Orstus as mentioned earlier did drop it.

Looted on character which is Rank 3 AC as Kyrian.

Currently no prices available to see what its worth anywhere.
Edit: Sold 2021-02-03 for 199k on Draenor EU.

Will not sit in laps and does not have a sleeping animation, will just stand on pet bed frozen. Does not ride the Pilfered Sweeper either. Bit disappointing.

Its seems extreemly low drop or only Kyrian drop. Kill him with 4 chars every day in 5-10 ppl grp and no one got it until now

based on all of the data, it seems you must be kyrian AND have a rank 3 anima conductor to have this pet drop for you.

pro tip - after weeks of testing, i was just now FINALLY able to confirm without question that you CAN get the larion pouncer by cheese pulling the right rare ONLY and leaving the left rare out of combat. as long as you meet the other requirements, you DO NOT need to kill both of the rares to get the pet. this is pretty big because killing just the right add is much easier than killing both. the group requirements are much lower. or if you are very strong you could solo it, like maybe a prot pally (or me a geared bm hunter).

the cheese pull - right away when the rares spawn, pull just the right rare at ranged and pull him back. the left add will not engage in combat if you pulled it fast enough. good luck! i hope this helped.

Is it 1 per character drop rate, or u can farm it continuously with same character?

Can confirm, it drops more then 1 time per character, just very low drop rate. It took 36 attempts after first drop on my main.

Just wanted to post it here. I got one about 2 or 3 months ago cause I have the ll 3 conductor unlocked. Sold it for 380K

1. You must be Kryian to channel to the location with Anima Conductor Tier 3.

2. I have no idea if this drops for non-Kyrian players but good luck getting them out to the island through the pack of elites and other random garbage, this is not an area players visit often.

3. Orstus can be solo pulled.

4. As of today, this is one of the most expensive pets on the AH from the expansion because it is bound to the anima sink conductor, a rare-elite in the middle of nowhere, and the rare-elites drop little of worth outside of this pet and a golden shield xmog. The current US Median price is 795,000 gold, or roughly 4.5 WoW tokens which cost about $100 USD in total.

This pet dropped for me on the first kill which means I am never going back there ever again. If someone else wants a chance at the cutest pet in the expansion, I'll go back to help. Otherwise, no. I'm not even going to channel to this location out of spite.

My alt ilvl 189 Prot Paladin strategy:

Ding the bell, run to the right side, spam taunt to get Orstus to follow me up the stairs or at least away from the other rare-elite, keep consecration up to mitigate damage and have a small self-heal*, talent for judgment to apply a heal when hitting the target, talent for more Avenging Wrath uses, use all holy power to self heal, BoP and potion if necessary, repeat for 6 to 8 minutes, then loot the body. If you can self-heal through the damage while standing still you can eventually kill the rare-elite, it just takes an awfully long time. The other rare-elite despawned while I was fighting.

*That might be a talent or power and not baked into the spell itself. I'm not a good Paladin.

I did fight and kill the other rare elite by kiting it up and down the stairwell because it stopped to cast some devastating strike which hits harder and faster than Orstus. This made it difficult if not impossible for me to tank standing till. However, because it stopped to cast the strike, I kept running and threw ranged spells at it. If it reached me, I kept running. I took less damage overall but constantly had to move. It was another 6 to 8 minute fight and the body couldn't be looted perhaps since this was the "second spawn" since the first instance of it despawned while I was killing Orstus.

Best of luck to all you non-tanks and tanks that have low self-healing! Hopefully, flying makes it less of pain to get there and everyone can have a shot at this pet.

I noticed that Orstus, who apparently is the one dropping the pet, does not have any loot half of the time. I suspect that it might have to do with who is ringing the bell, when I am ringing it, Orstus drops something and the rarity addon counts it as an attempt on the pet. But other times only Sotiros has loot, and then rarity does not count. Can anyone confirm that the pet can drop even if the loot comes from Sotiros?

Edit: I should add that I did of course make sure that the anima conductor was on.

Edit#2: Yesterday I experienced the same, even if I did click the bell. Orstus did not have loot, and Rarity didn't count it.

I've killed this 3 times now, as a kyrian, with a night fae in my group each time, and I noticed something; if we kill both of them, only Sotiros had loot (and therefor I didn't get a chance for the pet). When we pulled Orstus alone (which still works if you're fast enough!) he dropped loot for me, but not the night fae. When we killed Sotiros after, he had loot for the night fae. It's as if the game prioritizes giving loot to everyone, so only Sotiros will drop if they're killed at the same time. If you wanna farm the pet, make sure to kill Orstus only first, then kill Sotiros afterwards if you have non-kyrians in the group who wants loot.

I dont urdestand why i cant solo pull Orstus anymore. Every time i hit him, Sotiros gets aggroed as well.

Recently got this pet after about 50 tried. It's very rare and very annoying to farm.
The price of this pet in my current AH (Frostmourne US) is 59,000g. I think you could probably farm the gold faster than actually farming this pet.
