Looks like this mount.(along with 2 possible others. unconfirmed at the moment) will be able to mount while in The Maw.

This mount is a reward for completing 8 Layers of Twisting Corridors. The 'challenge mode' of Torghast. apparently each layer takes 1 to 2 hours to complete. So besides farming a Rare mob with some absurdly low drop and spawn rate or completing season 1 keystone master. The only way to quickly get around The Maw without being a druid is to invest a decent chunk of time into Torghast.

With a name like "Creeper" I'd expect a creepier rig, like Krolusk or something.

Orrore dei Cunicoli mount is very special as it can currently be used to mount in the Maw while other mounts cannot.
To get this mount you need complete the all 8 Twisting Corridors Layers. The mount is account-wide and can be used on your other characters.

My progress doing the all 8 layers (195 ilvl BM Hunter):
Each Layer has 18 floors.

Layer 1: ~54 min.
Layer 2: ~1hr 6min. Reward: Cercamorte.
Layer 3: ~1hr 40min.
Layer 4: ~1hr 50min. Reward: Elmo del Dominato.
Layer 5: ~1hr 32min.
Layer 6: ~1hr 46min. Reward: Title.
Layer 7: ~2hr 11min.
Layer 8: ~2hr 07min (12/18 floors). Reward Orrore dei Cunicoli.

Total Time Spend: ~13hr 10min.

Takes forever, but so worth it.

Layer 8 hits like pre-nerf Torghast. If you don't get the right anima powers by floor 18, you're gonna have a bad time.

Did layer 8 on a fire mage in 210 gear. I've done zero raiding so all gear comes from M+ exclusively. So, seems like very accesssible.

Every layer took me from 1 to 2 hours. 8th layer took 1h 40mins.

Last boss died very fast.

Advice:

0 - it REALLY helps to have max rep with ve'nari and thus the torghast upgrade she sells, that makes it so that any anima orb gives you at least 2 choices.
1 - if your first zone is coldheart, then reset
2 - try to get the 5% intelligence per floor rare power either at the beginning, or asap. Very big int gain by the time u get to the 18th floor. You CAN reset the initial power at the start of the run and also the starting zone by re-entering.
3 - make use of the 5x ice nova reduction CD power + unbreakable ice nova power. This combo essentially means that your unbreakable ice nova (8sec duration) has 5sec cd.
4 - list of anima powers that u really need to prioritize, no specific meaning in the listed order.
Unbreakable Ice Nova
Ice Nova cooldown reduction
Fireball/frostbolt damage per broken vase
The 500% damage from invisibility power
Mad wizard thing that gives you 5% int per floor if you execute the 4-spell sequence correctly
Triune ward (Gives you all shields when you cast it. Pairs well with the Blazing Soul-granting anima power, which is also good to pick up)
Lens of Elchaver. It, if stacked, does ALOT of damage. VERY strong power
Fireball/frostbolt cast time (stacks to 4, take it all)
Fire juggler (fireblast knock-up)
Spellweaver's Mojo (epic, VERY VERY VERY strong)
All the crit chance, crit multi, haste and vers. Ignore mastery, even if the other option is trash, just pick that trash.
Ignore all the mirror image, alter time and all related to it crap. Doesn't do jack $%^& at higher levels, unfortunately. Frostbite from coldheart is also a trap. Might be good at the start, but later on it becomes worthless, unless you manage to scale your dmg to some sky-high levels)

5. The "oneshot" sequence for bosses (or how did that screenshot above come to live)
Open with pot (if you want and don't have the 30% damage one)+ mirror image -> frostbolt -> 30% damage pot (if you were able to buy it) -> run to boss and cast frost nova + arcane explosion (will put the double 30% fire damage taken increase (or more, if you got more Mojo powers)) + run away from boss while on global from arcane explosion -> combustion (will drop rune of power) + fireblastx2 (infernal cascade stacks) -> invisibility -> once its up (wait 3sec for it to activate basically), cast fireball and then spam-cast another fireball with a timely fireblast (to refresh infernal cascade). As a result, 2 big fireballs doing tons of dmg will be shot.

6. It goes without saying that you should kill every trash mob, break every vase and clear every corner on all floors. Except for maybe the last few, if you are confident about your abilities

7. When you visit vendor on the 3rd, 9th and 15th floors, you can see the hologram of the boss you will be facing. Can be useful, maybe.

8. Legendary & Covenant.
The one that gives crit multiplier is the best one no competition, but ultimately it doesn't really matter coz of the "oneshot" sequence above.
Covenant, I'm Night Fae and tbh I only used my covenant at the start. Later on it became irrelevant.

- Stack %health. This is important! You absolutely need a large health pool.
- Kill Shot %
- Intimidation gives 100% crit for 10 seconds
- When you crit you shoot an arcane bolt

This combo was always a winner that let me breeze through Layer 1 - 8
I was rocking 450k health and shooting kill shots for 500k on my layer 8 boss kill.

Bonus - since this is account wide mount, all your character can use it.

DOUBLE BONUS - It works in the intro scenario version of the maw too! All your level 50 alts can have a slightly less painful time getting through the scenario!

As an update for macro users who do not use an addon, but do use Random Favourite Mount; the following should™ work in the maw no matter what localisation your client is, it will also work in the starting version of the maw which has a different map id.

Replace 1442 with 1304 for the Mawsworn Soulhunter rare drop.

Alternatively, the following should™ work if you simply want to randomise between the two:

Updated my mount macro to summon this mount if in the maw, or ashes of al'ar if you can fly otherwise Sinrunner Blanchy, you can replace these with your fav mount names:

Finally managed to get this mount after about 10 tries with different classes and specs.
While my iLvl 190 Druid had no problem getting to floor 18, the damage for Guardian was just too low
to kill the boss before he one-shots you. And Balance and Feral had nice damage but survivability was too low.

On my Mage I didn't get very far, but with only iLvl 180 the damage on the first few floors with no good powers was
just too much.

Yesterday I could've finished it had I switched to Arms at the last boss, but I tried with Fury, which failed because I couldn't
Condemn fast enough and for whatever reason, once you start the fight the bubble at the vendor disappears.
Today I finally managed to kill the Layer 8 floor 18 boss with Arms spec at iLvl 190.

It was Cromwell, and I got lucky with Crumbling Aegis from the vendor, which allowed me to ignore the floor gunk until I had him down
to around 50% health. After that I just had to stun-lock him with Condemn and knock him out of the gunk with Pummel and the power
that knocks mobs back and stuns them for 4 seconds. In the end I got him down, even though my DPS was miserable, with only around 150k DPS.

So glad I won't have to do Twisting Corridors again, until they add another 8 layers xD

This mount is extremely buggy, for me at least. Any jumps from high places or attempting to mount "vehicles" or transform into something for quests, while mounted on the Creeper, results in a disconnect 100% of the time.

So. This is my current mount macro:
/cast Mechacycle Model W; Turbo-Charged Flying Machine; Mechacycle Model W
/dismount
Basically:
• Turbo-Charged Flying Machine if it's a flyable zone;
• Mechacyble Model W if it's a no-fly zone;
• 'Ctrl' button modifier to use ground mount in flyable zone.

Now my question is: is there a conditional I could use to automatically use the Corridor Creeper in the Maw without adding another modifier key? I don't know how to work the macro code very well to fit the one made by dardack.

A note for casual players: Twisting Corridors is designed to be much longer and harder than normal Torghast. Layer 8 for the Maw mount has a recommended item level of 225.

At 18 floors, Twisting Corridor runs are 3 times as much content to clear as normal Torghast. The recommended item level for Twisting Corridors is higher (Twisting Corridors layer 4 has the same recommendation as layer 8 for normal Toghast). It's certainly possible to do clears between 1-2 hours but if you are taking an hour or more to clear your usual Torghast runs then I would count on Twisting Corridors to take roughly 3 times that.

Layer 8 in normal Torghast has a recommended item level of 195
Layer 4 in Twisting Corridors has a recommended item level of 195
Layer 8 in Twisting Corridors has a recommended item level of 225
Normal Torghast has 6 floors per layer while Twisting Corridors is 3 times longer with 18 floors per layer

Here is a macro that will mount up with a maw mount if you are in the maw. If you are not in the maw, then it selects a flyable mount if in a flyable zone. if not in a flyable zone, then it picks a ground mount. The mount IDs for the 3 shadehounds are included if you want to swap them out.

a tip for warriors (maybe)

Attempted the last floor as a 205 fury warrior, died at the first real boss when boss was 60% hp. Simply didnt have enough damage / more than half my powerups were useless and the with the boss stacks i simply didnt have enough hp.
I then swapped to arms (a spec i very rarely played at this point) and decided to give it a go because why not?

I proceeded to clear the last layer completely, i ran 17 floors with only 2 condemn upgrades (knockdown and +25% damage). I had 3 essential powerups that every warrior should hope to get (especially if arms).

1) Condemn knockdown: This basically means no caster mob can get any spell off while above 80% hp or below 35% hp.
2) Die by the sword duration increase: Die by the sword gives you 100% parry chance, effectively meaning you are immune to physical attacks (from the front) and mine lasted over 5 minutes at the end of the run, so yeah its REALLY good to pick this up.
3) Moving regenerates HP: powerup from a rare I killed on the first floor (it was a horse), basically every second you spend running you heal X% hp. This effectively removed the "IM ON FIRE!" torment. and means as long as you are basically moving like a spastic tank you are basically immune to having your hp drop below 95%.

There is a 4th power i was incredibly lucky to receive, it straight up gave me 65% fire damage reduction which turned the last few floors into a cake walk (in terms of damage taken) but I think this is more of a general power and i would have been able to finish the run without it.

I dont really want to say that the condemn upgrade that lets you use it no matter the hp % is mandatory to progress into higher floors because I cleared every floor without it till I received it on floor 17 (first mob i killed) but i will say its the only reason i managed to kill the last boss (which rewards you the mount). I didnt have crazy damage increase anima powers (one condemn did like 0.8% of the last bosses hp in damage, not even kidding) but i did manage to stunlock it. With all the haste I had from anima bonuses my GCD was like 0.7/0.8 and since condemn knocked the enemy down for 0.5 seconds the Eye boss (dont remember the name, sorry) didnt get a single cast off. Combine that with 100% parry rating and i didnt take a single point of damage in the entire bossfight. Afterwards in damage logs, when the boss had 16 or 17 stacks he would have done 700k damage per auto attack, not sure if armour was calculated into this number.
perhaps this isnt the place to post this, but wanted any warrior who read this to know that you can do it.
Getting the mount is super easy if you:
1) get every condemn upgrade
2) get 100% perma parry chance
3) are patient.
(do bare in mind i didnt have every condemn upgrade, but did have the 2 big ones (knockdown and free usage))
