Some great news on these drops and ways to have a better shot at them! For those who have not seen it yet, Wowhead posted an article that mostly spells out how to have a higher chance to get them and how this was determined:

So if you queue up with people and are wanting these, it seems best to kill the named rares, loot treasures and focus killing the mobs who are invading as well (when those occur (seemingly more in normal mode)) along with the same types of mobs who these drops belong too (and some of those are still being figured out). This may also mean not killing the elementals that spawn, as was mentioned by some in comments.... Good luck to all and credit to all those involved in figuring this out!

Dropped for me today after I finished a Nerubian themed Skittering Hollow, and I did kill a Nerubian rare that looks very similar to the pet, but I didn't take screenshot and forgot its name. I'm still doing IE right now and see if I can encounter that rare again.

The Succhiasangue Voru'kar is a blood leecher pet available from Island Expeditions.

The Voru'kar Leecher is required for Sono qui per le mascotte. It is cageable and can be bought from the Auction House, which gives credit towards this achievement.

I just received a Mappa del Tesoro and the mission it gives rewards this pet as well as a 1500 azurite bonus reward. Currently I can only get this at 172%, but I'm thinking with champions leveled to legendary with the right equipment 200% may be possible.

The way I got this was from a special Mappa del Tesoro that I received from doing the weekly Island Expeditions quest (the weekly that you do the 4 Island Expeditions on Heroic to complete).

So the way this works is:

You do the weekly Island Expeditions quest Azerite per l'Orda (Horde version)
You'll receive a Mappa del Tesoro as a quest reward
When you use the Mappa del Tesoro it will randomly create a mission for your followers
Depending on what that missions is, that mission will also randomly create the item you can win from it. If you're lucky it will be this pet or a mount or transmog, or other junk

I've done Island Expeditions a ton of times (I have almost all the mounts) and the only way I've seen this pet is through a mission.
