Some quick and easy numbers for anyone looking to make lots of these. Lemme know if I got anything wrong.

For mid-early BfA use:

1 Mystical Cauldron (considering rank 3 of all flasks and rank 1 of the cauldron itself)

80 Anchor Weed
80 Winter’s Kiss
80 Akunda’s Bite
60 Riverbud
60 Sea Stalk
60 Siren’s Pollen
60 Star Moss
5 Expulsom
1 Hydrocore

How does the cauldron work exactly? Do you get a flask buff after using it or a unique flask you can also use later?

According to the item description, it might be the first possibility?

It is so not clear in the tooltip text (because it both *is* a cauldron and *makes* a cauldron - the tooltip is for the made one, not the one in your bag) - this is fully consumed on SINGLE use (not 30) and thus is totally worthless for non-raids and even most raids IMO. And yes, I used 16 flasks, 5 expulsoms and a hydrocore for my mythic run of 5 peeps... whee!

I'm not sure if this was intended, since I can't seem to find any talk of it on the WoW forums, but since 8.1, I no longer get a stamina flask from the cauldron as a tank. Other tanks I've talked to also no longer get stamina from the flasks from these, and the same goes for the feasts.

This still requires Idronucleo in Battle Season 2, despite Hydrocore no longer dropping in heroic or mythic dungeons.

Alchemists can convert Nucleo Mareale to Idronucleo with Diluizione Acquea.
