This mount is better than I expected. It has a really distinct and awesome howling animation with an equally awesome sound effect. I keep getting looks everywhere I go so far, so this has been well worth my money.

I'm actually sad to hear that they made this mount scale to race size. I was actually looking forward to this big fluffy puppy with a tiny gnome riding it. :'(

for me a big plus of this mount is it's unique model (at least for now)
but other than that I don't think it's that good looking; for me celestial steed, enchanted fey dragon, heart of the aspects or winged guardian all look better; if I had all these mounts I would probably go for... well not Shu Zen...

This will probably get downvoted but this is my opinion, and advice: if you aren't going to buy all the store mounts, pick the ones that actually look best.

I'm not sure what there is currently with some models, it feels like stones are rendered very well, and fur have a very weird rendering compared to wotlk-mop

It looks gorgeous specially for a monk.
Plus it's a flying mount.

I tried in Legion when taking flight paths and it uses the mount to travel between places instead of the generic flying mounts used when using the flight master. So that's a nice addition since you can see it even if you don't have flying unlocked
