This item drops from Doctor Weavil at Alcaz Island in Dustwallow Marsh. It is used to activate any of the three mechanical spiders located on the island. This item is not 100% drop rate so you may have to get a few kills before you can loot it. This item is consumed on use, so if you want to tame all three coloured spiders, you will need 3 keys.

Note: if you get to Alcaz island and find that there are no mobs or npcs, it is probably because you have done the quests and scenario for the destruction of Theramore and are phased to the area. To fix this, visit Zidormi on the bridge near Theramore and ask her to send you back in time to before Theramore was destroyed. You can then go back to the island and see everything! You will need to do this each time you enter the zone.

After about 100 kills spread between my paladin and a rogue guild mate I think it's safe to assume you can only loot this item while on a hunter. My hunter is not yet level 110 so I thought I could save myself some time by farming both the Grossa Pistola Laser Rossa and the Chiave Elettrificata on geared characters and then mailing it to my hunter. Several hunters joined my group and looted an Chiave Elettrificata within their first few kills. Most of the hunters left with the max stack of three before the toy dropped for them. Also worth noting: a level 101 hunter joined the group, killed Dottor Male and was unable to loot him so level 110 seems to be a requirement as well.

Killed Dr. Weavil about 50 times (I lost count); I received the following loot:
1 Grossa Pistola Laser Rossa
24 Chiave Elettrificata
41 Fluido del Servitore
43 Fluido per Macchine
around 600 Manciata di Ingranaggi (count is a rough estimate due to killing other things in the area)

Chiave Elettrificata is not soulbound, so they can be traded or sold on the AH, no real market for the AH on my server group, though.

Dr. Weavil is easy to solo, even with no interrupts, he was down before I got two stacks of his Raffica di Dardi del Servitore. Save your interrupt for his Frantumazione Mentale, it's kind of annoying, but not critical (unless you're squishy)

These keys can be used to tame the three mechanical spiders (arachnodrones) also found on Alcaz Island. You'll need to use the key on the neutral mob, which then makes it hostile, and get them down below 30% health before you can tame them. You can't tame a dead spider, so you may need to take off some gear to reduce the chances of an accidental spider swatting.

The Golden Arachnodrone is found in a crumbling tower on the island. Go up the hill to /way 75.3 21.5 and find it inside.

The Silver Arachnodrone is found in underground tunnels just outside the building containing Doctor Weavil. Go to /way 77.3 18.2 to find the wooden ramp down into to the tunnel system. Go straight (south) until you nearly reach the gated end and turn right (west), swimming through the underwater tunnel until you emerge back into the air. Then go down the hallway, take a left and you can open the portcullis to reach the Silver Arachnodrone.

The Copper Arachnodrone is found outside a building at /way 75.1 14.9

The spiders respawn pretty quickly (25 seconds or so) if you want to tame a pair of them. But you will need another key. You don't need a key to tame the Model GU-4RD-3R mechanical dog.
