After just completing the entire set of Warbinder's ink requiring herbs, i can confirm that getting all of the new glyphs will take you 74 Scribe's Research Notes.

This means you'll need 222 Inks, which in turn means 444 Pigment.

If requested, i'll put a list up with all glyphs that require this research

I have used these to gain glyphs I do not currently have and now when I try to use it, the message "you have learned all of the recipes in this book" comes up. When I check the list however there are eight glyphs I have not learned and are not in my options of glyphs to create. Is this a bug or am I missing something here. There are only eight glyphs I do not have in game that are only available from these notes, and I cannot learn them for some reason. Coincidentally, they are some of the top selling glyphs on my server.

NOTE: Once you finish learning all WoD glyphs, Scribe's Research will start teaching you Timeless Isle techniques if any are missing. It will ALSO teach you a bunch of old crap you ALREADY KNOW so don't keep making these thinking you're learning a bunch of glyphs that you might already have.

I believe I've completed the listing at this point. I'm now learning Timeless Isle and Minor Inscription Research glyphs (including ones I know I had before) so I'm done with the WoD glyphs.

As far as I can tell, you will not be able to consume one of these if there is nothing more to learn from it. So it won´t be a total loss if you´ve made more than you need.

Just for the record: players without the WoD expansion can obtain these since they are tradeable and players can learn new glyphs and stuff with these even they are WoD items.

PS. So yeah it's nice but the downside is that this profession also lost it's challenge. Guess every profession will be easier and easier.

You need 377 of those if you want to learn all glyphs as new scribe

When you have mastered all of the glyphs, there is no statement to confirm this. It would be nice if there was a statement to tell you that you have accomplished all knowledge. Perhaps this statement would work - "You have learned all that there is to know - NOW GO AWAY!"

What's nice about these is you can put them in your action bar and spam a button to learn glyphs if you don't like clicking all day. It's probably not any faster, but it's a nice alternative.

As mentioned in a post below, currently you can only learn 42 glyphs from the research notes.

Do not bother crafting this!

If you made sure to learn every researched glyph as you levelled up, this item will do absolutely nothing for you! Its only use is to be sold to other scribes.

If you didn't learn all the glyphs as you levelled - which is unlikely, but possible I guess - then sure, craft this. but otherwise it's a big ol' waste.

Doesn't seem to be working for me as of BfA, created 60 notes and only two of them worked. Now I know I haven't learned every recipe, 'coz one of my addons reminds me that I am missing them.

Made a bunch because I had so many herbs lying around. Looks like I learned every glyph from vanilla through Pandaria. VERY NAISE!

Updating to 9.2.7.
You'll need only 41 Research Notes to learn all recipes of this book. I did 74 research and remained 33.

41 * 3 = 123 Warbinder's Ink
123 * 2 = 226 Cerulean Pigment
