IlluminatiFarming Enlightened ReputationZereth Mortis Activities

Completing World Quests in Zereth Mortis gives 125 Reputation.
Two World Quests per day are initially available, with a third World Quest unlocked once you research the Comprensione del Cassiale Cypher of the First Ones research. This research is completable on the first day of Patch 9.2.

Killing most of the 29 rares available in Zereth Mortis gives 10 Reputation, once a day per rare.
The four rares that can spawn in the Endless Sands area - Akkaris, Garudeon, Generale Zarathura and Madre Phestis grant 15 Reputation when killed.

The three event rares in Zereth Mortis for the Dominio sulle dune achievement - Iska, Precursore della Rovina, Gran Razziatore Damaris and Rianimatrox Marzan grant 15 Reputation when killed.

Completing the weekly quest Schemi dentro gli schemi grants 1250 Reputation.
Like other iterations of this weekly quest, this is completable by doing tasks around Zereth Mortis - Killing rares, looting treasures and completing daily/world quests.

Killing the Zereth Mortis world boss and completing their World Quest, Antros, grants 500 Reputation.

9.2 Campaign and Quests

Chapters 1, 2 and 3 of the 9.2 Campaign grant a total of 2100 (550 + 1425 + 125) Reputation.

Commento di Novum

The days it takes to revered with and without rares is not correct right? Even with patched rares it's 1 week faster? They patched that rares give 10-15 rep and makes it basically obsolete to farm them.

Commento di larry19

Tome of the Eternal seems to be missing from the reputation rewards table, as honored reward

Commento di Shawanki

Did the WoW dev guy, and several streamers, not say that rares are completely completely optional, in terms of reaching revered? In this guide, there's a 7 day difference?

Commento di Thriana

I assume you miss out on 2100 Rep if you use the skip for the first 3 Chapters?

Commento di Selendees

Wait, why horde has 3 more quests? :P

Commento di TenPercentAh

rares are optional even if I want to get the Memory of Unity asap, right?

Commento di brionl

The memory of unity only affects the Covenant legendary? So if you're using a different legendary power it's still in the same slots?

Commento di barbasol

Sad to see Ricerca del Portale degli Illuminati for the Wormhole Generator in the Paragon box at all, much less as a random drop. Pretty sure if I even bother with a Paragon box I'll be quite sick of the zone and no longer need a port.
Would it be so bad to give it at honored? Or heck even Friendly? Why not make it feel useful and fun instead of a bit of a cruel drop when you are 99% done with the zone?

I have similar mixed feelings about Tecnica: Contratto - Illuminati. Still useful at Revered but 10 rep is super minor... why not put it at friendly/honored and help encourage doing WQs in other zones (which most people are super done with at this point)? I guess it could be "abused" by people grinding WQs out of Zereth Mortis but don't you still have that problem at Revered? Maybe it'd be better to not have an item like this at all then. Just feels weak all around.

Commento di TenTeWoW

Offering to the First Ones at 34.82 56.04 gives consumable that grants 75 rep on use

Commento di baronkarza

Doing the ZM campaign, WQs, and side quests, plus Schemi dentro gli schemi x3 week one, and Schemi dentro gli schemi and the world boss Antros the first day of week two, I am at 885/12000 towards Revered. There is no way I've killed 20 rares a day. Maybe 6 or 7 on average. I have opened a bunch of the treasures that aren't too difficult to get to. Dailies didn't count for any rep as far as I could see.

I'm guessing the fact that Schemi dentro gli schemi has changed to once a week and gives 1250 rep now accelerated things slightly.

Commento di Biftard

Is there any reputation from killing bosses in the sepulcher raid?

Commento di Masai

Darkmoon fair rep buff work for this, rares, world boss everything

Commento di Tychon

This seems to be missing the rep you get from certain mobs in the raid. I am not sure how many there are but they each give 150 rep and are lootable once per week

Commento di Wolf699

It looks like the reputation gain for the 3 dailys is not a guaranteed 125xp per completion. I just did 3 dailys and none of them gave any xp. Some other sites have suggested (I have not confirmed) that you only have a chance at 125xp reputation token (which would show on the quest rewards). Other posts have suggested that the dailys only give rep up to honored. Can the guide author offer any thoughts on what is going on with dailys rep? Also I am at 10k/12k towards revered and have done a lot of rares, plus every daily and weekly. From my experience, the authors calculations that everyone would be revered by March 22 are a bit optimistic, perhaps because of the missing daily quest xp. Perhaps the author could do an update, please?

Commento di Bigtuna00

The exchange vendor in Oribos Ko'Tul offers a rep item as well.

Commento di briarleaf

DISCLAIMER: Using the Zereth Mortis alt skip autocompletes the first 3 chapters of the Campaign, but you don't get the rewards for these quests. Using the alt skip means you will FORFEIT the 2100 Reputation reward for these alts. Do not use the alt skip if you plan on rep grinding on that alt.

Blizz fixed this. You now get the rep.

Commento di magicjax

There is no quest for killing Jailer, and also a lot of reputation

Commento di Xevious1227

I love rep grinds but this one has to be the longest ( in terms of daily logins) i've ever had to do and i'm tired of it. I've played 9.2 since it launched and missed approx 7 days since and I'm still not exalted, granted i do not kill rares, as there is barely any reason for me to do it. I seriously don't understand why daily quests do not give rep as it always has in the past.

Commento di LastYouSaw

It seems like The Enlightened reputation does not give credit towards the Exalted reputation achievements, since i was still 90/100 for 100 Exalted Reputations after hitting Exalted.

Commento di Chivi

Idk if this is a known thing but in normal sepulcher every boss drops a token for 50 rep and the jailer 200….. mobs have a chance to drop 50 rep as well

Commento di TheMinority

You need to add this tmog to the Paragon cache drop. Got this and the toy on the first attempt. Drappo di Protopelle

Commento di Acapulka

Will it be ever rep increase for this faction? Its almost S4 now and still people need to grind this awful reputation.
Or at least increase in drop from paragons would be fine, 15% for scheme is just terrible!

Commento di Neldorn

Just skipped Intro and got automatically 1975 reputation with The Enlightened.

Commento di Auror

It counts to Osannato da 100 fazioni. Some old post here say no, but it does. I guess fixed by devs.

Also recommands to farm rares on WM on. Less competition.

Commento di SpareSimian

The items Offerte degli Illuminati and Insegnamenti degli Anziani, available from chests near Haven, offer 75 rep each when used. The Darkmoon Faire WHEE! buff can be used to increase these by 10% to 82 rep. You can check the achievement Collezioni curiose to see if you've looted those chests. Get the quest Provviste degli Illuminati in Haven first before looting Zereth Mortis chests.

Commento di SjSj

May not be the most ideal method of farming this rep but as it is a warbound rep now as of 11.1.5 you should be able to do the raid (Sepulcher of the First Ones) on multiple chars per week for the 50 per boss kill and 250 for jailer.
This adds up to be quite a substanical time save if you are in a rush.
~~Also am assuming you can also do this on Normal/Heroic/Mythic also for even more rep.~~
(Update to the above, you cannot. Only one difficulty awards it per week.)

Commento di Khatun

They seriously need to increase the reputation gain in ZM. 125 per world quest, which are not even daily btw, feels rough for a paragon cache that takes 10000 rep and low drop rates for old content. Mind you, the daily quests have not and still do not grant any reputation.

Commento di Alustriel

Hello all, I thought I'd let you know about grinding rep on The Enlightened as they offer some nice items at Exalted, like the Broker Translocation Matrix, which is what I am after and why I am telling you this.

First, I have never been to SL on this account (I have 2 accounts, and this one never did anything past MoP), so I decided to start slogging through expansions that had nice mogs, toys and mounts to earn. I did this back in 2021-22 so I could not remember a great deal of what to do and where to go. (thus referring to WoWhead.com for plenty of help). I ran with Kyrian as I did before for the cosmetic wings. This is the end of my third week since I started as flying is available everywhere but The Maw and Koritha. I finished the campaign, Chains of Domination achievement yesterday and while I had earned up to honored with The Enlightened, about 11,700 rep I did not push over into revered just yet. I also realized that day as I reviewed this guide to find I could have used the "Contract: The Enlightened" to gain additional rep for world quests done in other zones within Shadowlands. I made some from my other account and the main here and two alts have them in use now.

What I found was that first, doing Sepulcher of The First Ones raid (did normal and heroic) earned 1000 rep clearing all bosses and a number of elites. (can't recall if LFR gave the rep and have not tried mythic difficulty yet) To my surprise, I do not know if anyone else mentioned this, bringing in an alt, skipping all the campaign, level up quests and choosing your Covenant allows you to go to Zerith Mortis and right over into the weekly "Patterns within Patterns" quest as well as the raid and also, killing Antros, the world boss there. Each of your toons contributes to the pool towards The Enlightened reputation. The rares, world quests, treasures (the little +75 rep special one time per character items) and the SoTFO raid are added to what your previous total was. I brought in 2 additional toons as alts for SL and now I am at just over 8100 rep into revered. I figure that this next coming week I will hit exalted with The Enlightened easily.

As a precaution in finding treasures, I had done the recognition quests offered by Firim in Exile's Hollow. I also accessed and unlocked all of the top row of abilities on the Cypher Console so I could find the puzzle treasures and gain access to more world quests that followed those areas that they opened.

Good luck in your grind!

Note: I tried to do the heroic difficulty of SoTFO raid after having completed it on normal difficulty, and no, you do not get the rep again on that toon, so it is once per toon per week for the raid rep for The Enlightened.

Commento di phreakwithanf

Just went to Shadowlands for the first time on an alt. Account-wide rep was already at 2525 Revered. Chose to skip the first 3 chapters and received 0 rep increase.
