0-10 Creazione di Armature di Cuoio/Creazione di Armature di Maglia - While these won't be the only points you spend in these Specializations, the first few points will bring you into position to learn as many recipes as you can, as quickly as possible.

10-40 Armature di Cuoio Plasmato/Maglia Grande - The nature of how Sub-Specializations unlock recipes allows Players to pump points into these categories, giving small bonuses to Inspiration and Resourcefulness while also allowing Players to use Optional Reagents to specify Secondary Stats on the pieces they craft.

40-40 All Available Sub-Specializations - Players aren't actually putting any points into these Sub-Specializations (for the Chest, Wrist, Helm, and Shoulder slots), merely unlocking them - this will teach the corresponding pattern for that Sub-Specialization.

40-50 Creazione di Armature di Cuoio/Creazione di Armature di Maglia - Back to the start of our tree, Leatherworkers will want to put in just enough points to get them to their next Sub-Specialization unlock. While this entire wheel is generally good for the Build, rushing Crafting Speed instead of unlocking recipes is unadvised.

50-80 Armatura di Cuoio Ricamato/Maglia Intricata - The other side of the tree provides small bonuses again to Inspiration and Resourcefulness, while also unlocking the final four recipes through Sub-Specializations.

80-80 All Available Sub-Specializations - Similar to before, Leatherworkers aren't actually spending Knowledge Points here, merely unlocking the Sub-Specializations (Legs, Gloves, Belts, and Boots) for their armor slot patterns.

80-100 Conciatura Primordiale - Slowly wrapping up the Specialization patterns, Conciatura Primordiale provides access to the last two needed Sub-Specializations, as well as Inspiration and Resourcefulness bonuses.

100 -100 Maestria Elementale and Stretta Decadente - Leatherworkers will be used to this by now - no Knowledge Point allocation, simply unlocking the Sub-Specialization does all we need it to.

0-5 Disciplina di Conciatura - As is tradition with the first few Knowledge Points, your true goal is unlocking a Sub-Specialization, and the Skill bonus here is a welcome addition.

5-30 Legatura e Cucitura - Maxing this category out quickly provides not only Inspiration bonuses, but allows Leatherworkers to create and use Consapevolezza Illustre to boost their Skill while crafting Profession Tools.

30-40 Disciplina di Conciatura - Back to Disciplina di Conciatura, we now want a second Sub-Specialization to give us large boosts in Inspiration.

40-70 Lavori Puntigliosi - Lavori Puntigliosi will give massive boosts in Insight to Leatherworkers, allowing for Skill bonuses in huge bursts. This means Leatherworkers will be able to create higher-quality Profession Tools.

0-5 Disciplina di Conciatura - We'll be returning to Disciplina di Conciatura shortly, but for now, we move on to our first Sub-Specialization.

5-30 Indurimento e Tannatura - Consapevolezza Illustre is the end goal of the final Knowledge Point in this Sub-Specialization, however it can't be stressed enough how powerful this entire category is. Providing strong Multicraft and Inspiration bonuses, Leatherworkers also get a bonus when crafting Armor Kits: Multicraft will grant up to 50% additional items during the craft.

30-40 Disciplina di Conciatura - Back to Disciplina di Conciatura, we now want a second Sub-Specialization to give us bonuses to the other main consumable we craft.

40-60 Legatura e Cucitura - Investing 20 Knowledge Points into Legatura e Cucitura will grant the same Multicraft bonuses to Drums that we previously obtained for Armor Kits.

60-70 Disciplina di Conciatura - Our final visit to Disciplina di Conciatura brings us to our last Sub-Specialization.

70-100 Maestria del Cuoio Inaudita - When mass-producing Consumables and Reagents, saving materials through Resourcefulness will give you more bang for your buck. This Sub-Specialization, focusing entirely on Resourcefulness bonuses, will allow Leatherworkers to pump out even more product than anticipated.

Awl Inspiring Works

How does this exactly help us when we are crafting profession tools? What is the maximum item level of Profession Gear? When crafting Profession Gear to sell on the AH we would have to use our own Artisan's Mettle (225 each for the rare recipes), so this might not be viable and this is the only area where Inspiration would help us at all, right? When picking up Public Crafting Orders for Profession Gear Inspiration doesn't help us at all, does it? We'd rather want base skill level to even be able to craft the items if I understand the process correctly. Please correct me if I'm wrong and/or enlighten me with further knowledge regarding this subject.

it has been about 5 weeks now and I still haven't been able to pick a specialization
got 97 points and 10 points invested by accident in leatherworking discipline.

the guide won't help me choose sadly.

First I thought leather armor crafting but noone including myself is interested in the patterns one can make.
then i thouhgt primoridal lw so i can make bow for hunter, but hunter has gotten nice thingy from vault.
I know worse now what to choose, now.

Any advise is welcome!

I didn't see it, though I only skimmed over it, will we only be able to specialize in one area, I'm not sure how many points we'll get. I don't want to use any yet because if we can't reset if I choose wrong I'm stuck.

Its really annoying when they use the wrong picture to go with the description! How do they even make a mistake like that? They cant see the the words they are typing dont match the words in the picture? Maybe they have one person write the article and another person does the graphics. Thats the only logical explanation. =P
