Dragonflight Patch 10.2 Cooking Changes

While Patch 10.2 is not bringing many new additions to Professions, they are seeing some small, general updates to bring them into Season 3. With Dragonflight entering its final major patch cycle, Professions are entering their maintenance mode - expect the only further major updates to be seasonal PvP gear changes and the occasional additional recipe. It is unlikely that Professions will see another major change in Dragonflight.

Why is Cooking Useful in Dragonflight?CucinaCucina

Dragonflight introduces a lot of diverse recipes for Cooks. You will have the opportunity to provide basic and advanced food for people in Dungeons and Raids.

Who doesn't love a nice Feast? Dragonflight brings 5 new feasts to the game to help guilds and raid groups through their progression!

Making Gold with Cooking in Dragonflight

Cucina is the only crafting profession in Dragonflight that does not utilize the new quality system during crafting. This is great for players who want a more casual experience without having to worry about the difference in qualities.

In Dragonflight, Cooks will be providing necessary consumables to anyone who is doing end game content. There will always be a high demand for these items.

Because food and beverages are commodities, they can be sold on the Region-Wide Auction House. This means that there could be a very large amount of competition, but there will also be a large amount of sales!

Things You can Make with Cooking CucinaCucinaCucina

Various Meals: Cooks are in charge of providing multiple types of food and consumables to other players. These food items can help restore health and mana, improve a current stat bonus for a limited time, or provide a fun ability to the consumer!

Desserts: These items are mostly used for quests turn-ins or for fun. They do not have much of a practical use; however, they have great names and who doesn't love desserts?

Fish Dishes: There are two types of Fish Dishes in Cooking. Cooks have access to Simple dishes as well as Deluxe. Simple dishes only provide one stat bonus to players while Deluxe Dishes provide two bonus stats.

Feasts: Cooks have the ability to craft 5 different feasts. These items are consumables that can be placed and utilized by a whole raid group or guild. All of these feasts restore health and mana while providing a specific stat boost to players who become well fed.
