Commento di Nossie

Sounds nice.

Wonder if it will be as abundance.. a time filler or actually something we will enjoy :)

Commento di Tyrsenus

Worth noting that the dive upgrades and Angler Pearls are warband-wide.

Edit: Also, Ancient Relics are worth 750, not 7500. The "toast" you get when looting one says 7500, but on the final scoreboard they're worth 750.

Commento di Nagratz

Forsaken don't need to breathe and warlocks have water breathing. Will this affect anything?

Commento di magicturtle2

So to unlock the item that starts the quest, do you need to finish the achievement and then buy it? And what is the award for that quest?

Commento di Guineaswine

anyone else unable to actually catch anything with the abyss bubbles? the cast starts, but gets interrupted half a second in and stops before my bobber even shows up. theres no fish around attacking me either

Commento di Turtelo

i sure wish i could find the Gemscale Nymph.... dont know how many ive done now.

Commento di djulioo

Seems to be bugged for me and some people around me, when I asked. We can't see and buy Giunti Rinforzati off the vendor...

Commento di JimmyO

Be aware the 99 scale guy can be swiped even after you do all the work. Had some guy waiting in the wings to spam his harpoons while I was busy getting away from the threshers. Poor *!@#ing design as usual from Blizzard.

Commento di myelf

do abyss bubble catches COUNT towards achievement ?
I need 25 .... fishing the bubble would be SWEET

so looks like NO ... unless there is a bug ...
YOU can finish other achievements

but it looks like the catch 25 fish ... sigh

Commento di Yakiniku

Dave the Diver: Warcraft Edition

Commento di Rustibus

Anyone who can help out finding a seamare? I`ve been diving fifty times looking for it...read a post saying it`s supposed to be in the far end, but no luck :/

Commento di limbonized

Anyone else having problems hitting the fish at all, ive tried going close far away spamming hundreds of spears at the same target, if im lucky i get 2-3 fish per run :( and the animation looks like i throw the spear to my right all the time despite having the target right on them

Commento di Pistashio

Very confused as to why you don't get fish from an Anglers Event in WoW. Its a cool event (I guess?) but its rewards are basically nothing.

Commento di juzzstar89

I use Mastercraft Kalu'sk Fishing Pole in my fishing equipment slot so that I never have to worry about drowning... I am not getting the breath bar during Abyss Anglers dives. Anyone else have this problem?

Commento di Juusanban

Looks like they upped the amount of Angler Pearls you get yesterday?
I got about 5 times what I got wednesday!

Using the harpoon is really fiddly :(
Just picking up a few relics seems to be the fastest way to go.

Commento di neilsnake

So i spent some time testing and as far as Angler Pearls the currency goes the amount you get is reduced by the higher amount of score you get like a exponential curve downward, so you will get for example about 600 pearls for 10000 score but for getting 20000 you will only receive 900 Pearls, but when this really comes into effect is after 20000 score as it SHARPLY drops off. So if you care about only the Anglers Orbs get no more then 20k score and surface (incase you wondering it seems the cap for the amount of Anglers Orbs you can get in a run is exactly 1000 as i received 1000 when i got a score of 55000 and also when i got 62500).

Commento di Rasboinica

Dunno about everybody else, but im loving this vent

Commento di Zylideum

75% of the time the spear goes in a totally different direction than where I'm aiming - does nobody else have this issue?

Commento di aggravates

I know it's pretty buggy but anyone else actually enjoying this new activity?
Compared to the Void Strikes/Ritual Sites, this feels like new interesting content instead of the same stuff recycled.
I went through and had fun getting a lot of the achievements just for the sake of it.
If only there were more worthwhile rewards to buy. Or even a meta achievement that grants a title!

Commento di Xracmo

i cant get him to send me on a a dive is bugged

Commento di Karnick

Shame it's just more trash loot

Commento di Dirtyd

If you're farming the pearls, just go for the treasure. I cannot get close to the same score. Hit the 2 oxygen refills then head to /way 64.04, 16.21 There are a bunch that spawn there and by the time you finish the circle they are spawning again...

Commento di shadowfel

to whoever designed this piece of !@#$, bruh.... have some honor and find some other field of work cuz this aint it

Commento di Megaman13

This is among the true gems of Midnight. Excellent introduction, easily expandable and limitless fun. o7

Commento di AlaskanDruid

Still bugged as of this comment. Even when you earn the achievements.. they are not earned, thus you it the wall at the very beginning.

Commento di Calimyst

so as of 5/14 when I logged in I received the achievement allowing me to buy the depth grease upgrade; however, I'm still not seeing reinforced joints for purchase and it isn't showing as completed in the Idol of the Depths Achievement

Commento di Flanell

I am Undead, why the hell do I get a breathbar here? I didnt had to breath since they changed my ability from breath longer under water in vanilla to infinity in cataclysm.

Commento di Lotharemas

Only upgrades the vendor is offering for me is Pahk Trench Fins and Murksimmer Meat, nothing else, only just started Abyss Anglers so im straight up locked out of achievements that need the upgrades?

Commento di Pheydre

I had a few Guglia Cattura-Vento da Campo (20% movement speed for 1 hour) leftover from the previous expansion so i used one before a dive and the buff stayed with me during the dives. Maybe someone smarter than me can determine whether I was actually swimming faster than I would have without the buff?

Commento di MikeMJG

Remember, you don't Aim then Fire.

When you hit Fire, you have 1 second to line up with the fish (you will see dashed yellow line reticle - make sure it shows the Circle on fish) *similar to when using equipment to knock out flying enemies

This is how I do it:

1 - make sure you are facing the fish you want to harpoon, leading it enough so that when you press Fire, the fish will have swam a few feet to where you are facing.

Doing this keeps you from having to aim in the 1 second timeframe you get to aim.

2 - you want to be within 20 feet of the fish (less chance of missing)

3 - once you press fire, the aim reticle appears for 1 second (if you are quick, you can make a slight adjustment by moving your character to face a different way, but only slight adjustments)

Once you get a few done, it should become easier. Still a pain that you have to press Fire and then aim, and that you only have a second to aim - but it is what it is.

GOOD LUCK!

Commento di MikeMJG

We need more content like this in every expansion. Would be great to have this in other zones.

While fun and entertaining, there is also no rewards that actually matter except for one.

1 pet that is lame
1 mace item (it's a fish)
1 partial transmog (tabard/shoulder)
1 green diving transmog (same as other colors)
1 quest to unlock more blessings

And that is it. Oh, and decor, which should be awarded from content not bought.

Commento di Daillemand

Best content of Midnight

Commento di Elveen

Surprised nobody mentioned pearls per score ratio, which is:
1500 - 25
2000 - 33
2500 - 41
3000 – 300
3500 – 321
4000 – 342
4500 – 364
…..
24950 – 916

After 3000 peak (4 treasures and hitting surface button) its roughly 21 pearls per treasure. So fastest way to farm is to grab 4 treasures and surface. Treasures have some respawn timer, so you cant pick up same thing if you dive again rly fast, just make route for 8 and rotate

Commento di jennamarie

bummer, i know im behind on doing this but my reinforced joints are busted, i can buy it over and over but cant get it. sucks to suck i guess. Seems fastest just to spam treasure, no?
