Elemental Shaman Rotation in

Spend your Maelstrom - Maelstrom should be spent before overcapping.

Use your minor cooldowns - Cast Getto di Lava on cooldown. When unavailable, cast spenders or fillers.

Line Up Cooldowns with Ascesa - Custode della Tempesta is cast on cooldown. Every 2/3 minutes, cast this just before using Ascesa.

When using Master of the Elements, should'nt you use atleast 1-2 frost shock icefury procs with it since it does more damage than earth shock? Seems like we would be missing out on damage to only save Master of the Elements for earth shock.

If you are Night Fae and use Signore degli Elementi, make sure you always cast a Getto di Lava before using Trasfusione dei Silfi as this benefits from the +20% damage. Sorry if this is mentioned but I didn't see it anywhere :)

This makes no sense I cannot have storm elemental with earth shock what's is the talent build for this?..I'm a fire build?

Confused the heck out of me kept talking about Ascendance with the M+ Fire build well that build doesn't use Ascendance it uses Primordial Wave & Deeply Rooted Elements, a passive, so when I was looking for Ascendance in my spell book it is not there. I keep Shaman up to date as an alt toon and need guides to explain things as if they were talking to new players - oh, and there are new players out there too! It doesn't help that the link to Ascendance only mentions it as an active talent and doesn't say there is another talent that casts Ascendance passively. I poked around and didn't find anything that explained this, even peaked at the leveling guide and it just has a talent tree that skips Ascendance / Deeply Rooted Elements entirely. Using a spell that we don't even have as a spell as a buzzword is not helpful.

So not a single mention of Lava Beam anywhere in 11.0? Guess it's no longer worth casting at all, even in AoE or was this simply forgotten?

One thing that is not discussed in the single target rotation is the scenario where you have stormkeeper and 110+ maelstrom.
If you were following the given rotation you would cast the following:
1. stormkeeper
2. earth shock
3. earth shock
4. lightning bolt (first stormkeeper charge)
5. lightning bolt (second stormkeeper charge)

The problem with casting two earth shocks in a row is that you are wasting a surge of power proc. Now your second charge of stormkeeper you would spend via lightning bolt is losing out on dps.

While I don't know the math, I feel like it would be better to weave a lightning bolt after the first earth shock to consume the first surge of power proc, then cast second earth shock.
Now it would look like this:
1. stormkeeper
2. earth shock
3. lightning bolt (first stormkeeper charge)
4. earth shock
5. lightning bolt (second stormkeeper charge)

Anyways, I feel like this could be addressed in a description below the rotation explaining you should use stormkeeper lightning bolts with your surge of power procs, if it is indeed more optimal. Especially because this build is prioritizing overload dmg with the Echo Chamber talent and Surge of Power.

I am a little confused on your recommended rotation. It requires Primordial wave and Ascendence. , however all none of the recommended talent builds have both. Am I missing a talent build?

"WIth the rework Storm Elemental just became a lot stronger. When used it applies Flame Shock to up to 6 targets in your vicinity and then generates a Lava Burst on every Flame Shocked target right after."

You linked storm elemental instead of Asc here.

Earth Shock and Tempest apply the debuff to their main target, whereas Earthquake prefers the main target

...What's up with this? They both say main target, so why is the sentence split?

Also is Fusion of the Elements no longer trackable in 11.0.5? Can't see it as a buff after Icefury, but I'm still randomly casting an Elemental Blast sometime after.

Is there something wrong with this guide? I'm trying to look for the rotation/opener for the mythic+ stormbringer build, which doesn't take Primordial Wave, but even after I de-select it, it still shows Primordial Wave in the cast sequence graphic, even though it removes the line saying to use it in the text. It also doesn't show using Flame Shock anywhere, which I would have thought you would want to do before casting any lava bursts.

Is there a number of targets priority for casting earthquake and chain lightning? Or am I literally dumping all my maelstrom on 2-target earthquake?

This entire page only mentions Ancestral Swiftness once: in the Raid Build opener. Please add it to the rotation and priority lists or discuss it in the cooldowns section. I assume you use it on CD, but I don't want to make assumptions, that's why I'm reading a guide.

hello! I thought I would ask a question!

There is a lot of mixed opinions when I look up rotation info. A lot of guides one moment may ask me to include primordial wave in my rotation, then for the AoE segment be using a completely separate set of skills, sometime not even on the same hero spec. I take it that one hero spec shines more in one area than another, aka stormbringer being more AoE focused and Farseer coming off as sounding more single-target based. Is this true? and if so, how should I go about picking an 'all-round' choice?

I have few questions about Rotation Assist.. is these loses from 1-button assiatnce? or by following the highlight button suggested? also is the losses because of no cooldowns in assist mode?

I mean if I follow the combat assist and also use my cooldowns, is the loss still so significant?
