Great guide, thank you very much!
But this page though seems to have outdated information:
"Pelagos has the best soulbind tree out of all of the soulbinds across all Covenants. (...) That being said, the Versatility has a nearly 100% uptime (...). This is achieved through Let Go of the Past."
This has been changed to reduced magic damage taken.

So Venthyr still way to go for pvp? Or is necrolord better. Mindgames could work alright on bosses tho right?

If I don't do higher level key mythics or raid much is Necrolord still good for solo stuff or what is prefered then? I know most guides tend to target Group activities but what of people that doesn't do much group things and might only do heroics and the occasional low level key mythics?

What about PVP?

Swap quest? Can you add into your guide how to start that? I like the covenant I pick...now. But two months from now will I still? I don't know. But I also don't know how to start the swap quest. Thanks.

Edit: Just found out, all you need to do it talk to the covenant leader on Oribos that you want to swap to, he or she will ask you "Aren't you already in a covenant" or words to that effect. You tell them you're not happy with them, Again, words to that affect. And they offer you to pledge your loyalty to them, swap complete.

As long as it's not into a covenant you're already been in and left before.

the tool tip in game mention

Benevolent Faerie increases the cooldown rate of a major ability by 100%. Follows your Shadow Mends

instead of

Benevolent Faerie increases the cooldown rate of a major ability by 100%. For Shadow Priests, this currently applies to Void Eruption.

i m assuming its typo?

You rank Venethyr as Decent for both Mythic+ and Raiding, lowest of the four. However, as of the first half of February, 49.5% of Shadow Priests - according to the Blizzard API - have chosen it. Is there any explanation for the discrepancy? Does your guide need updating due to changes that may have occurred between when you first wrote it and now?

For 9.2 with Double Legendary, in m+, I find NF is a more effective covenant than Necrolord, mainly because of one reason: the relics. Necro's Unholy Nova will also hit the 3 relics and the relics often die in a very short amount of time (thus significantly reduces overall dps). I find myself having to delay the casting of Unholy Nova until one of the relics dies (and turns into an automa - and even then, the automa usually dies fairly quickly too), and resulting in a very awkward cd where Unholy Nova, Mindbender and Void Eruption are completely out of sync.

Venthyr would be so good if it wasn't inconsistent. They really need to give us a flat crit buff instead of that RNG based on damage prevented. If mindgames gave us 50% crit buff for 15 seconds on a 1 min CD (instead of now, 45% max if placed well, 10 seconds, 45 sec CD), it would make venthyr competitive over Necrolord or Night Fae.

Not that I'm asking for Venthyr to be the best covenant, but should be more in line with Necrolord or Night Fae.
