size=medium type=round inline=true color=q1] Best Crafted Gear for Holy Priest

is a weekly-gated resource that is required for crafting some of the most powerful equipment available from professions. You should spend them wisely, aiming to craft items that you intend to use long-term. You can use the recrafting system to further enhance these pieces later, so there's no need to hoard Sparks if there's a noteworthy item that you can obtain now.

Recommended Crafting Order for Holy Priest

At the start of the season, resources and gear are very limited, and the first few crafted pieces are crucial for progressing efficiently. Here is the best early crafting order for Holy Priest using , targetting the quickest power gains:

Craft Lanterna di Aln'hara with Sigillo di Lunacupa: Caccia Explanation

Ulatek drops a high value Haste dagger that you will want to pursue so crafting an Off-Hand is a high value and high efficiency craft.
Craft Fusciacca del Martire or Manette del Martire with Imbottitura di Tramarcana Explanation

Both Wrists and Belt are BiS so craft whichever slot is the greatest need.
Replace Low Item Level Pieces.

Here is the best crafting order for Holy Priest using , especially when Sparks are no longer a limiting resource and more gear is available late in the Season:

Craft Fusciacca del Martire with Imbottitura di Tramarcana Explanation

You can craft the Wrists first if the need is greater there.
Craft Manette del Martire with Imbottitura di Tramarcana Explanation

Same as above, Belt/Wrists are both high value, craft the weakest piece first.
Replace Low Item Level Pieces.

Trinkets

Neck
Neck should be upgraded after the above options.

Upgrading With Mistcrests

Mistcrests are used to both upgrade and craft gear, with a weekly cap on their acquisition. Because of the Crest cap, making good choices with your Crests is key to getting the most out of your gear. For precise recommendations based on your current situation, we recommend using Raidbots Top Gear to simulate your character.

Below are the best upgrade priorities for Holy Priest, providing a general overview of the most impactful items to focus on to maximize output.

Weapon

Commento di Synaii

Hi there, thanks for all your work - however the Bracers linked as BiS recommendations from Uldir show a link to Robes of the Unraveler rather than the Void-lashed Wristband I assume it should be.

Commento di Sylerlia

There is a better version of the Tidal Alchemist Stone called Pietra Alchemica Abissale. The item score per recipe is 410/425/440

Commento di carbonbasedbiped

great and helpful post. Thanks.

Did you have the rings backwards?

For example, a low-level Mastery/Crit ring (desirable Holy stats) can be replaced by a significantly higher item level Vers/Haste ring, especially if it also has a socket.

Commento di Awenn

Hey, I am a bit confused by the BIS lists. If I focus more on M+, not raiding, I believe, I should not center around mastery, right? Those BiS lists are good for raiders, isnt is so?
thanks

Commento di Vortilion01

I dont understand the BIS List for Mythic+. In the Gear-Section you state that mastery is not very good for M+. In the BIS-section you list mainly mastery items for M+! Why is that?

Commento di Andrikats

can we have a new BiS list for trinkets please? I think Sanctum is old news now

Commento di Garodin94

Can I use the stones if I am not an alchemist? I am confused, I can create a work order but don't want to waste mats if I am not able to equip the item.

Commento di ComeAndSee

I've come across some pretty interesting trinkets from the super rares.

This one in particular is pretty op:
Capsula di Mana Sigillata dal Vento?bonus=7935

It's a free mana pot when you drop below 50% mana and the passive bonus gives you a lot of mana back.

Commento di GraysonCarlyle

This says for 10.0.5 but the comments for Ruby Whelp Shell have been out of date for a couple weeks now.

Commento di Razatt

Hi

As ever, great work with the guide.

I'd be really interested to hear other Holy Priests experience with the Guscio di Draghetto di Rubino

I levelled mine up to 6/6 in the AoE heal, but in a combination of raiding and M+ scenarios it's been pretty underwhelming more often that it's been decent. I think this might be because it relies on being stacked up, rather than being at range - which is fine on certain fights but means it does very little if the group/raid is fairly spread. And by stacked up, I mean me being stacked with the group, as the whelp (for me at least) seems to pop up over my shoulder before casting the breath - I might be missing something here, but it doesn't seem to appear anywhere else and looking at logs of the various fights I've done with it, they back that up as sometimes it does little to no healing at all.

On the upside, the proc rate seems pretty decent (this might have been changed, because it's definitely proc'ing more often than people say earlier in this thread), it's just hit or miss whether it actually does anything worthwhile with the AoE heal.

I've read advice elsewhere that it's better to level the stat buff (haste or crit), as at least then you will directly benefit from something, on the majority of occasions.

Any thoughts on this would be welcome.

Thanks
Raz.

Update: Having experimented a bit more, I've started to get decent value out of the trinket (circa 3% of my overall healing in m+) by standing much closer to the melee. Whilst the whelp can spawn on other people, it seems to have a higher chance of spawning on me. I've given it a stay of execution!

Commento di alpanhell

Thanks for being the only guide I've seen to include a Darkmoon Deck in your bis Trinket guide! I've been wondering where they stand.

Commento di lalpa

for those who ask, i think the M+ and Raid BiS list is just swapped (trinkets outdated, too)

Commento di Deafz

The Dashing bilge boots aren't on the loot table for freehold as far as the dungeon journal is concerned for m+, best alternative are the boots out of Vortex Pinnacle.

Commento di adinuras

Just an fyi...after running Freehold 44 times and not seeing the feet drop for any single person...i looked through the dungeon journal and noticed that they weren't on the loot table for M+. Save yourself some time and 3 days worth of grinding.

Commento di stevethepotato

why is there no gear list for mythic+? i'd like to see your opinion to which set pieces i should have for dungeons as a holy priest. there is already one for raiding, after all

Commento di guldi011

Sea Star is def. not a top healer trinket for 10.2 since it does not proc off from heal spells but only dmg spells. Hope this gets fixed soon

Commento di gloomyowns

For the Trinket Ominous Chromatic Essence, do we want to stick with the secondary stat? Or would getting mastery/crit depending on content be better? Thanks!

Commento di katlyric

When are we fixing this bis list? this is completely wrong and doesn't match the section for stat weights at all. That's sad :/
The whole guide is very good and would be nice to have it all lined up at one place so we have consistent builds.

Commento di Neverender

That Shadow-Binding Ritual Knife gives you a bunch of Int, and QE Live has it as one of holy's best raiding trinkets, simming better than hero trinkets at champion level.

Commento di Neverender

I've actually been using this talent setup, I hate losing CoH... I also hate losing the mastery boosting talents. If we dont take that, doesnt that reduce the value of mastery quite a bit?

What do you think of my current setup:

https://www.wowhead.com/talent-calc/priest/holy/archon/DARBEBVBUQBRFEoVGIRQDAFAOVFBERFFUSlWIBQCAQEFVVUBA

Commento di Elimedi

Darkfuse Medichopper is listed twice, once as B tier and again in D tier.

Commento di Leidman

Do we have anything to say about Distributore di Cure di Prima Classe#comments ?

Commento di AngelofVengeance

I feel the mana sprite should be higher on the list. It's definetely a hit or miss, but was doing 10-20% on some fights in Heroic Manaforge.

Commento di finndor

Is the crafting section out of date for 11.2?

Commento di Dankdestiny

It says that the best embellishments are Sigil: Hunt and Arcanoweave lining, but your BIS says to use Arcanoweave cord and Sigil: Hunt in offhand.

Shouldn't it say Sigil: Hunt in offhand, then a crafted piece with arcanoweave lining in a low budget slot such as cloak?

Commento di Edman01

Should add Embellishment choices too. Since i'm assuming you've chosen the martyr's items because of that.
