Notes on the Melee Build

This build should be familiar to anyone who has played Holy Paladin in Shadowlands. The goal of the melee build is to optimize Holy Power generation while spreading Barlume di Luce.

The upsides of this build is that you will be a lot more mobile and do more damage. Your most important spells will be Folgore Sacra, Martello dell'Ira and Assalto del Crociato. It can be hard to maintain your mana if you do not allow yourself to deviate from this priority as Assalto del Crociato can be quite mana intensive. Pick up Giudizio della Luce and Percorso Dorato for access to a couple of very efficient healing spells in Consacrazione and Giudizio.

Notes on the Caster Build

A lot of Holy Paladin will probably shudder at even reading the word “caster” in the same sentence as Holy Paladin, but I urge you to try it out. The point of the build is to make use of the fact that Torre Splendente and Infusione di Luce gives us the ability to generate 2 Holy Power with each Luce Sacra cast.

While the playstyle of casting Luce Sacra on the Faro di Luce target so much could rightly be described as “degenerate”. It is not as bad if you simply try view it as a Holy Power generator and ignore the overhealing you will be doing with Luce Sacra.

The goal of the build will be similar to the melee build. It is to spread Barlume di Luce using Ira Consacrata and Rintocco Divino, and maximize our Holy Power generation through Luce Sacra.

Notes on the M+ build

Overall, the new talent trees add a lot of good stuff Holy Paladin in a Mythic+ setting. Notably, we are able to get both Luce Accecante or Penitenza, and Pugno della Giustizia, which significantly increases our potential mob control . Predica will also be a very nice addition to any Mythic+ group. We also get access to a 1 minute cooldown Benedizione del Sacrificio when combined with Sacrificio del Giusto, this will be incredibly powerful when we also add Benedizioni Echeggianti this essentially makes Benedizione del Sacrificio a ~41% damage reduction.

When it comes to healing intensive situations in Mythic+ you will need to make use of your Infusione di Luce procs to cast Lampo di Luce on your one of allies that need healing the most, as this is simply the only way too keep up with healing in some high damage situations. With all the talents that buff Lampo di Luce picked, it becomes a very chunky heal.

You will be spending your time in melee for Consacrazione and Assalto del Crociato, and to enable using Predica. As such, you can view this build as a sort of Hybrid build; you will be using Martello dell'Ira and Assalto del Crociato during low healing requirement periods, but you will be casting Lampo di Luce if things start to look more dire.

Notes on the Maraad’s build

This build is almost exactly the same as in Shadowlands, with the notable differences of adding Ira Consacrata and Rintocco Divino on top. The build focuses on optimizing Holy Power generation through Folgore Sacra, Martello dell'Ira and Assalto del Crociato due to the fact that Ultimo Respiro di Maraad is dependent on casting Luce dell'Alba. This build shines in situations that require significant spot healing and it is almost unmatched in spot healing potential.
