Armi dell'Ordine - This does quite a few things; provides 12.5% Mastery, Calcio del Sole Nascente gives a buff that reduces the cost of all Chi-spenders by 1, and Calcio dell'Oscuramento reduces the cooldown of Calcio del Sole Nascente and Pugni della Furia by 2 seconds rather than 1. This is the Covenant that has the most "going on", but it doesn't dramatically change how Windwalkers play during the buff. You will look to fit in as many Calcio del Sole Nascente as possible, get every Pugni della Furia into the Calcio del Sole Nascente chi-cost-reducing buff, and fill with Calcio dell'Oscuramento and Palmo della Tigre to keep resources up and reduce the other cooldowns as much as possible. This is currently believed to be the strongest Covenant ability for most purposes, especially given its cooldown synergy with Fulmine della Tigre Potenziato to give it a little bit more "umph". The only "downside" to this is that Xuen does not currently scale with our Mastery, so that aspect of the benefit is lost.
Assalto Lucido - This provides more Mastery during the duration of Armi dell'Ordine, which just further cements that you'll want to continue alternating abilities and obeying the Mastery. The extra duration isn't as important since it already lasts longer than Xuen does and its 30s baseline duration is as long as two Tempesta, Terra e Fuoco casts.
Evocazione: Factotum - This summons a little steward that provides some different things like a free talent change or a vendor. The big draw, however, is Fiala della Serenità, which is a healing potion that does not share the same cooldown as health potions. The potion also removes bleeds, which be useful in Castle Nathria and several dungeons where bleeds are prevalent.

Birra di Polvere d'Ossa - This is an interesting ability as it is the strongest of all Covenants in sustained AOE, but the weakest in Single Target, meaning that you'll really be a specialist in one and not very strong in the other. This ability is at its strongest in Mythic Plus or fights where you have a bunch of targets to hit during its window. As of 9.1 the damage from this ability can now crit, making this ability even stronger.
Luppoli di Midollo Osseo - This merely increases the damage that you do during its duration and lets you use it more. If you're going to go with Necrolord, this will be a very powerful increase in damage.
Forgiatura della Carne - This is a 3 second channeled ability that provides a shield that is equal to 40% of your maximum health with a 20% damage reduction during the channel. If you are near a corpse, this shield is increased to 50%. This ability will be somewhat difficult to use since you have to channel for 4 seconds for the full benefit. For any telegraphed damage, you will generally have a cooldown being used, so the additional buff may not be needed. Also, because it is channeled, it cannot be used as an emergency button. On fights where there is unavoidable downtime, its very easy to channel this for an added cushion from any upcoming damage..

i guess i am going necrolord, although not a huge fan of the abilities.

Thank you for the guide. It has helped me so very much. I am going Night Fae since it is "great" for both Raid and Mythic+ and I might actually do both this expac. Besides, I have plenty of alts to go with other covenants.
