Midnight Season 2 Marksmanship Hunter Cheat Sheet Marksmanship Hunter Changes in Midnight Season 2Tiro EsplosivoRapidità di TiroTiro MiratoRapidità di TiroTiro MiratoExplosive ShotTiro Esplosivo

Tiro Esplosivo lasts 3 seconds and explodes every second for Fire damage, dealing 50% of that to enemies within 8 yards. Reduced past 5 targets.

New talent, Innesco Instabile lets you cast it a second time within 3 seconds, rolling any remaining damage from the first one into it. It is a choice node against Ricarica Tattica.

Ricarica Tattica is the old Shrapnel Shot, and now makes Tiro Esplosivo grant Pronto al Tiro.

Detonazione di Precisione adds 1 second to Tiro Esplosivo, which is one more explosion tick.

Other Talent Changes

Tempesta di Proiettili now makes Rapidità di Tiro increase your next Tiro Mirato's damage by 20%.

Faretra di Ventolesto gives Rapidità di Tiro 10% more damage and a 30% chance at Pronto al Tiro.

Colpo Mortale now gives Tiro Mirato a 10% chance to make your next Tiro Mirato grant Colpo Mortale.

Precisione per Volume is the old Incendiary Ammunition, and makes Tempesta di Proiettili cover one extra Tiro Mirato.

Aspetto dell'Idra no longer affects Tiro Arcano.

Accuratezza dell'Aquila is a single point now, worth 5% Tiro Mirato damage and 10% Rapidità di Tiro damage.

Removed: Doppio Colpo and Colpo alla Testa.

Tiri Precisi: These procs are guaranteed to happen from all Tiro Miratos, and, depending on Talents, Rapidità di Tiro as well. They are spent on Tiro Arcano on single-target and Tiro Multiplo on 2+ targets, at least when we play Tiri Ingannevoli. Every single proc must be spent, which in practice means following up every Tiro Mirato with an Tiro Arcano or Tiro Multiplo. Rapidità di Tiro spends its own proc, because Scarico fires an Tiro Arcano as it starts and finishes.

Always Be Casting: Casting as many abilities as possible matters more than pressing the perfect button every time, and dead time is the single biggest thing holding most players back from their DPS goals. Tiro Stabilizzato is how you fill it, and it is castable while moving, so there is no excuse for a dead global. The best Marksmanship Hunters will have way more Tiro Stabilizzato casts than someone more average, in large part because they do not ever stop casting when moving or dealing with mechanics.

Movement: While not strictly a rotational concept, while the flow of Marksmanship is straightforward, managing your movement is a big part of mastering it. The core thing to remember is that you should try and reserve movement for when you are not casting Tiro Mirato. Whenever you are not casting Tiro Mirato, you can move freely without interrupting your rotation, and you should take advantage of this fact to always think "can I be positioned ever so slightly better" and to move accordingly. Standing still while not casting Tiro Mirato is rarely the best move.

Tiro Esplosivo and Raffica (with Salva), which the Season 2 tier set is built around, and focuses on generating and spending Tiri Precisi.

AoE - We run Tiri Ingannevoli in AoE, swapping out Tiro Arcano for Tiro Multiplo to make our abilities do AoE damage. For raid cleave, we like Aspetto dell'Idra-based builds. They grab efficient AoE talents like Hydra and Munizioni Leggere to dish out excellent cleave damage while essentially just performing a single-target rotation.

For Raiding, since the raid is so heavy on cleave fights, the cleave build is the most common throughout the raid. Any time pure single-target is called for, swap to the single-target build. On fights that are overwhelmingly single-target, but still have occasional bouts of cleave and burst AoE, we can play our Mythic+ build, but that is not a decision to be taken lightly as padding AoE is rarely the most effective way to improve your group's chances of success.

Impact of Midnight Season 2 Tier Set for Marksmanship Hunter

The Season 2 Tier set makes it optimal to spread your 2 Tiro Esplosivos offered by Innesco Instabile. Other than that, it has no impact on how you play, though it is still reasonably powerful.

Skulking Viper's Ambush

Hunter Marksmanship 12.1 Class Set 2pc - Explosive Shot lasts 1.0 sec longer and deals 5% increased damage.
Hunter Marksmanship 12.1 Class Set 4pc - Aimed Shot and Rapid Fire damage increased by 5%. Each time Explosive Shot causes a burst of damage, the cooldown of Aimed Shot and Rapid Fire is reduced by 0.5 sec.

Best Marksmanship Hunter Consumables for Midnight Season 2

Below, we highlight the best consumables to use during for both Raiding and Mythic+ for Marksmanship Hunter in Midnight Season 2.

Below is a list of the recommended gems and enchants to use on your Marksmanship Hunter gear during .

Slot	Best
Weapon	Incantamento Arma - Rito degli Hash'ey
Helm	Incantamento Elmo - Maleficio dell'Assorbimento Potenziato
Shoulders	Incantamento Spalle - Guarigione di Lunargenta
Chest	Incantamento Torso - Marchio dell'Anima del Mondo
Legs	Potenziamento d'Armatura del Cacciatore Silvano
Boots	Incantamento Stivali - Radici di Shaladrassil
Ring	Incantamento Anello - Occhi dell'Aquila
Diamond	If you have >4 sockets in your gear, Diamante di Cantoeterno Potente. Otherwise, Diamante di Cantoeterno Indecifrabile.
Other Gems	If you have >4 sockets in your gear: 1x each of Olivina Mortale Perfetta, Ametista Mortale Perfetta, and Lapislazzuli Mortale Perfetto. Rest Granato Magistrale Perfetto. Otherwise, fill all with Granato Magistrale Perfetto.

Marksmanship Hunter Gems

If you have 5 sockets or more in your gear, you can make use of Diamante di Cantoeterno Potente as your Eversong Diamond, and a combination of at least 1 Peridot, 1 Amethyst, 1 Garnet, and 1 Lapis, then Granato Magistrale Perfetto in all other sockets. This fully stacks up the Crit Damage Effect of the Eversong Diamond, which is particularly potent for us as Marksmanship Hunters, since we have tons of Crit naturally, and our Tiro Mirato is guaranteed to Crit.

Peridot: Olivina Mortale Perfetta
Amethyst: Ametista Mortale Perfetta
Garnet: Granato Magistrale Perfetto
Lapis: Lapislazzuli Mortale Perfetto

If you do not have the sockets required to fully realize the Diamante di Cantoeterno Potente, simply use Diamante di Cantoeterno Indecifrabile instead.

Marksmanship Hunter Weapon Enchant

Incantamento Arma - Rito degli Hash'ey is the strongest weapon enchant for us. When it procs while you are above 80% health, it gives you your highest secondary stat. Below 80% you get a random secondary stat instead. Log analysis suggests that you spend 80-85% of the time above 80% HP in Raids, and more in Mythic+, and a random roll can still give you the optimal stat.

Here are the best flasks, potions, and weapon buffs that Marksmanship Hunters can use in PvE content. While Critical Strike is the safest option for gearing characters, you should ideally be simming your character using raidbots to determine the best configuration for you.

Type	Best	Options
Flask	Tonico del Sole Infranto
Combat Potion	Pozione dell'Avventatezza
Health Potion	Pozione di Cura di Lunargenta Concentrata
Weapon Buff	Olio di Fenice Thalassiano
Augment Rune	Runa del Potenziamento Toccata dal Vuoto
Food - Feast	Celebrazione di Harandar or Ostentazione di Lunargenta
Food - Personal	Arrosto Reale Abbondante

Marksmanship Hunter Flask

The best Flask for Marksmanship Hunters is Tonico del Sole Infranto.

Marksmanship Hunter Combat Potions

Marksmanship Hunters should use Pozione dell'Avventatezza, which gives you a large amount of your highest secondary stat for 30 seconds and wants to be synced with your cooldowns. It is sensitive to Critical Strike actually being your highest stat when you press it, so if your gear has not got there yet, use Potenziale della Luce instead. Stock up on Lustro Liquido too and use it as your second Potion during execute. In the execute phase Centro gives you plenty of Critical Strike on its own, which leaves a repeat Pozione dell'Avventatezza worth much less there. Lustro Liquido increases its Versatility over time, so press it about 10 seconds before Precisione.

Marksmanship Hunter Health Potions

The best healing potion for Marksmanship Hunters is Pozione di Cura di Lunargenta Concentrata.

Marksmanship Hunter Weapon Buff

For their weapons, Marksmanship Hunters will always use Olio di Fenice Thalassiano.

Marksmanship Hunter Augment Rune

The best Augment Rune in Midnight is Runa del Potenziamento Toccata dal Vuoto.

Marksmanship Hunter Food

Marksmanship Hunters prefers eating Agility food (such as Feasts) over secondary stat foods when given the option.

Feast: Celebrazione di Harandar or Ostentazione di Lunargenta
Personal Food: Arrosto Reale Abbondante

guide has tranquilizing shot listed as a ability MM has, but we dont have it at all nore do we have Natural Mending

Commento di Perpantaq

Well mm is totally useless now.lethal shots was a fun passive talent but now it just has 20% chance to reduce 5 sec of a 20 sec ability. By the time you actually get one during your rotation you won't need it. Its slow and boring.

Commento di WowAdventurer

Here are some nice fun builds for marksman.
"The StarTrooper"
Arcane Shot + Rapid Fire + volley + streamline
When your energy gets too low for arcane shot just recharge while using rapid fire.
Arcane on 'Q' key bind
Rapid on 'E' key bind

"The Woodsman Elf"
aimed shot + steady aim to recharge energy for aimed shot.
aimed shot on 'Q' key bind
steady aim on 'E' key bind.
careful aim

they are not optimization builds by far but they are fun builds to play with to get a style...

Commento di Thechieftain

Literally a month has passed and many chances happened. An a week left to shadowlands. Is there any chance to get an update on this guide? Or is it fine the way its already

Commento di Bamoh

Man let me tell you. This is the Truth. I have seen this man feign death so a combusting mage will get stunned. If this isn't pure alpha male mentality then idk what is. He is a giga chad who should be listened to by all hunters.

Commento di lachmcqueen

Dark Ranger is still ass for MM. Sadge.

Commento di Nymleth

Could you include a Dark Ranger version of the Delves build? Thanks!

Commento di Scaryfox

If you're going to mention racial bonuses, shouldn't Blood Elves and Worgen be mentioned? Both of them have a racial bonus for crit.

Commento di Maizou

The Cyrce's Circlet gems listed on this page as BiS are different than the ones listed on the BiS Gear Page?

Commento di Ribbz

Patch 11.1 : Why do all MM hunter talent build use "Wilderness Medicine". It only reduces the cooldown of Exhilaration by an additional 0.5 sec. and heals a pet which you can't call anymore.

Commento di MagicalLeaf

How much of a DPS loss it it taking Unbreakable bond over Avian Specilisation?

Commento di vanskyver

не совсем понимаю зачем талан (шкура стража) если (неразрывная связь не взята )

Commento di Rikazen

Umbral Reach talent in the Dark Ranger tree produces 50% more damage when using Black Arrow instead of Multi-Shot to consume Trick Shot. I tested it a few times. I compared 10 Aimed Shots and Black Arrows to consume Trick Shot versus Multi-Shot and always got the same result of AS to BA always doing 50% more damage. I know Black Arrow is not always available but basically I think Blizzard meant Black Arrow to replace Multi-Shot on Trick Shot procs as it can also replace Arcane Shot on Precise Shots procs.

I am too lazy right now to do a test between Sentinal versus Dark Ranger (i just don't like the Sentinal playstyle) when consuming Trick Shot. If someone can take up the mantle I think the community would appreciate it. If Trick Shot is the main focus of an AE build, how is Sentinal winning over Dark Ranger? That is my main question regarding this article among other itty bitty questions.
