Craft Scoccaramo di Aln'hara with Pietra Rituale del Cacciatore Explanation

You can wait with crafting this until after you've spend your first bonus roll or two, in case you hit a weapon. You should only craft this if you need damage before you would hit the Ula'tek weapon from Bonus Rolls. Otherwise, this is the most impactful early craft you can make.

Craft Cintura Celebrativa dei Lungopasso or Falde Rinforzate dei Lungopasso with Imbottitura di Tramarcana Explanation

This is the highest impact slots that doesn't have any kind of canttrip effect or similar. The legs are more impactful but might be taken up by a tier piece early on, but the belt gives you an easy slot to put a socket into. Head is also an option but is taken up by an early mythic drop.

Replace low item level pieces.

Craft Cintura Celebrativa dei Lungopasso with Imbottitura di Tramarcana Explanation

This is the slot that has the second least amount of impact from being slightly lower item level from the rest of your gear. Cloak is not an option this tier as The Coiled Altar drops one at higher item level.

Craft Bracciali a Piastre dei Lungopasso with Imbottitura di Tramarcana Explanation

This is the slot that has the least amount of impact from being slightly lower item level from the rest of your gear. Cloak is not an option this tier as The Coiled Altar drops one at higher item level.

Weapon
While you might craft one as your first craft, if you decide not to, upgrading your weapon is almost assuredly the most powerful choice you can make.

Strong Trinkets
Your strongest trinkets are generally Tentacolo dell'Orrore Contorto, Cuore Vorace di Ula'tek and Fonte della Furia Venefica, so these are safe to upgrade at a high priority.

Canttrip items
Uniquely powerful items you are unlikely to replace such as Reliquiario della Rovina degli Aqir and are safe investments for your crests.

Lowest Item Level Pieces
If you have nothing else notable left to upgrade, you should upgrade your current least upgraded item, as it will be the cheapest, and therefore the most efficient overall.

Bonus Rolling with Nebulous VoidcoresNucleo del Vuoto Nebuloso

Upgrading With Ascendant VenomstonesPietra Velenosa Ascendente

Weapons
Weapons are the most impactful upgrade because of the power of weapon damage scaling with all of your abilities. The best weapon for you to upgrade here would be Grandarco del Riposo Caustico, due to its powerful effect.

Trinkets
Your strongest trinkets are generally Tentacolo dell'Orrore Contorto, Cuore Vorace di Ula'tek and Fonte della Furia Venefica, so these are safe to upgrade. Any trinket in A-tier is also an ok upgrade if you don't have access to these.

Neck
Your best Neck item to upgrade would be Reliquiario della Rovina degli Aqir, due to its powerful effect. If you do not have access to this, your next best option would be a neck with good stats for the content you are doing.

This is a very thorough guide. I'm thinking to get the mantle of command for the sheer beauty of them. Thank you for the guide

Commento di born2slip

Dono dell'Invocabrezza - can hardly be considered the best trinket, because when using it you need to stand still and lose all the benefits of the BM hunter's mobility.

Commento di datgrl

Is “overwhelming power” still a good choice as an AP trait? I thought I read something at the beginning of the expansion that this trait was the best one to have in raids.

Commento di 1888850

I have never seen the higher versions of Gale's and Spyglass (370/380/400/415) where do the higher version drop from? Not even wow head has a description of the higher versions on this chart.

Commento di dr7swag

Perhaps this isn't the appropriate place to ask this, but seeing the sims, the best simulated trinkets are on-use ones. Is there any benefit for having 2 on-use trinkets equipped? Usually they share cooldowns, if not always. The best scenario is to have the best simulated on use trinket on one slot and the best equipped proc on the other slot?

Commento di OccamOC

I couldn't find https://www.wowhead.com/item=161418/deployable-vibro-enhancer&bonus=4798 in the trinket list did it not get simmed yet or am i just going blind (distinct possiblity).

Commento di Eirdohl

Visione Cieca should be listed as dropping in Plaguefall I believe, not Mists

Commento di Brimrock

The Arachnid Cipher Ring comes from Domina Venomblade in Plaguefall rather than Mists of Tirna Scithe

Commento di isgrimnur

Hey everybody, I am quite confused about the blood link gear. I do have the chest and the waist from SoD. Now I need a third blood shard item/gear but SoD is not offering it. I do have the legs from SoD which says : add 1 more blood shard but there is no socket. I would appreciate if someone could tell me where to get the third blood shard item. Thanks in advance, Isgrim :-)

Commento di dokeefe1986

Thanks for the updates for 9.2

Commento di Chaindog

Per the post in the link below, drop of Rae'shalare, Sussurro della Morte will be slightly increased for current season 4 from Sylvanas Ventolesto.

Commento di Nissiku

Frammento della Rastrelliera Tormentata doesn't seem to be on the list of trinkets.

Commento di fireillusion

I have created a BM hunter as an alt and have my last dinar to spend.
I have to decide between a quiver and first sigil according to the guide above.
I cannot understand why first sigil is such a good trinket for the class.
Any remarks?

Commento di Horsekebab

I understand it's pretty difficult to rank trinkets, but perhaps create tables of trinkets for mythic/heroic/normal raid versions? It's going to be pretty off to compare 298 M+ trinkets with mythic raid ones, which seems to have been done here. Sure, simming is #1, but many people will just look at that table of trinkets.

I can tell, for example, that a 298 So'leah's Secret Technique is going to be better than a 298 Stone Legion Heraldry even with one additional SLH in the party (not unlikely in an M+ group). More total stats (147 vs 135), and you usually have a selection of secondary stats you can choose. So'leah is also certainly better than Thundertower's Targeting Reticle, which just gives a lower amount of a probably worse stat.

Commento di ChippaFruit

Also missing the trinket Trofeo del Cacciatore Esperto

Commento di OneFreeMan

Guscio Rituale Primordiale should be added to the BiS trinket table; it is out-performing both of the S-tier trinkets listed here.

Commento di WitchTiger

I love this list, but w/ the new knowledge around Ruby Welp Shell, where is it falling in the BiS list now?

Commento di Thundertom

I'm Curious to how Ruby Whelp Shell now stands in the trinket tier, as it has been properly figured out now.

Commento di Rieth

Bloodmallet has the haste Ruby Whelp Shell as one of our best trinkets when fully trained now.

I take it this guide still disagrees?

Commento di dillybar

It would have been better if you'd just have created a new guide for each expansion.

Commento di Cassador

you know that Neltharax, Enemy of the Sky has been NERFED cause of all the crybabies non bestamaster hunturds, you should change this in your guide above. After all this is a BM hunter guide and Neltharax, Enemy of the Sky is no longer the best choice for BM hunters. Cause you know the crybabies...

Commento di Lorcryst

I feel the need to add this :

After hunting for weeks for that "Jeweled Signet of Melandrus", farming Valor to raise it to 12/13 (my cap at the moment), and running a hundred M+ dungeons between +5 and +16 with it equiped, plus numerous sims with raidbots, IT DOES NOT WORK WITH RANGED ATTACKS, NOR FOR PET ATTACKS, meleers get a huge boost from it, but 160 points of damage on the base 747-948 of my Bow of the Dragon Hunters should be HUGE (that's more than 10%) and it's simply not there at all !

Of course, after all that, I've dropped a Neltharax, post-nerf, that works even better, and I had a ring crafted with the alchemy pouch for the food buff persisting after death.

On another note, the raid trinket "Controlled Current Technique" that I got at iLVL 408 is very nice when you have very few targets or targets that are very far apart, but in Mythic+ instance like the Halls of Valor, it's lightning bolt range of 100 yards will pull the aggro from a second group while you're already neck deep in a hard fight. Oh, and when the effect dissipates, that "grounded" means you cannot jump for one minute, that in itself can be deadly for yourself if you need to dodge something, do a route-cut in the Azure Vault, etc.

Commento di Lorcryst

Sweet Basement Cat, I really should not spend time reading guides when my mind is in "manic analytical mode".

In the BiS guide for Raids, you've put two rings that might (a chance = 30% probability, and the Law of Great Numbers of statistics cannot apply because we never reach the several millions of results for a "statistically signifcant sample", so when they do proc, it's more Murphy's Law at the worst possible moment, or not reliable enough to base a strategy and build on) do something when the BM Hunter does FIRE damage, while the ONLY source of Fire Damage in the Beast Master toolkit is the "Completely Safe Rockets" ammo, that also has a 30%, very unreliable, probability of activation on auto-attacks only.

30% of 30% on auto-attacks every 3 seconds (or a tiny bit less with a huge Haste secondary characteristic, which is very hard to raise now due to stat weight changes) is a probability so small that it might as well be negligible, it will happen during intense, active game play, but not often enough to actually make a difference, and most often just after you finished the last mob of a fight.

And I have the numbers to back that up, I do use that ammo on my BM Hunter (because not using them is always a loss), I do on average 5000 auto-attacks in a Mythic+ dungeon run (so much time spent running and not in combat), and the results crunched by the Wowhead client, Details!, Warcraft Log Companion and Raider.io all agree on a 16.5% active uptime, a bit more than half the theoritical rate.

Again, because we never reach the several millions of results for a statistically significant sample in a single dungeon instance or raid run, so we're in the "exceptions" or "worst possible time" domains.

I followed your guides for a long time, then I started to actually read the descriptions of the items in the actual game, and after carefully reading, understanding and comparing I've managed to get a 75% increase in overall performance over your guides and the simulations made with them, not to mention that said simulations assume you always have all your CDs, boosts and bonuses active 100% of the time, which is not possible in the reality of the game where you have to react to situations, behaviour of the players you play with, random targeting of the NPCs, and so much more.

Even against training dummies that don't fight back, don't kill your pets, don't silence you or force you to break your cycle to kick a cannot-be-allowed-to-pass spell, a human player cannot maintain 100% boost, bonuses and procs all the time.

It's even indicated on the raidbot website itself !

Theory is very nice, number crunching too, I do that for a living outside of World of Warcraft, but they fall apart when confronted by the game.

And it's written in light blue on dark blue, might be hard on the eyes, but still plainly, clearly stated.

Commento di Ztinktoof

Not sure why Mirror is ranked above branch unless it's because of the duration. Branch lines up perfectly with Call of the Wild cooldown wise and it gives more stats....

Commento di VaderTX

Y'all sleeping on Ashes of the Embersoul - lines up with Call of the Wild and is very good in my experiences

Commento di Kinigos

Is there anywhere that shows the total cost to upgrade the Bullion awakened track items from level 1 to 14? I would like to see a total # of each type of crest and total number of flightstones needed. Thanks.

Commento di Lorcryst

I'd have to get lucky and drop that Mirror, but in S3, as a Beastmaster, it only duplicated my auto-attacks and was not affected by the numerous boosts to pets.

It was very, very sad thing that did less overall damage than the Rockets, basically a waste of a slot.

And yes, I had it in Mythic 4/4, my mirror image did a Sand Blast of 5K every 2 seconds while it was there, and nothing else.

Commento di ignauy

I must ask, how do you get the Dawn of Infinite trinket to 522 now that the dungeon is no longer in rotation?

Commento di MissVern

The fact that Mirror is on here when the dungeon is NOT in the rotation is an absolute joke. Trying to get a group for this terrible drop is a nightmare, no one wants to spend forever in a place they don't have to just for 1 trinket to drop for someone else.

Commento di LadyYui

Is Neltharion's Call to Dominance just that terrible for S4, or was it forgotten about?

Commento di ssithl

Arguable to swap a BSL for Shadowflame, once you have at least Diurna's Chosen ring, for a reliable fire damage source? Rockets can proc it of course, but..

Commento di Cryptiq

For those puzzling about his choice of rings, the primary fire damage proc will come from Tindral's Fowl Fantasia (the Incandescent Essence helm enchant) and sometimes from Completely Safe Rockets. This procs quite often, so I agree with his selection.

Commento di Cryops

Spiteful storm is in C...? This is why I never go off of ANY guide online. Spiteful storm CONSISTENTLY sims higher than ALL of these other trinkets besides Mirror and Whispering. Then Mirror and Whispering is only a .5% DPS increase over Spiteful and Whispering. Optimal choice here is Spiteful Storm and Whispering Icon (if youre like me and hate on use trinks) Lord knows how many other trinkets on that tier list are fudged. Do your own sims guys if you care that much.

Commento di Lickmycritt

I disagree with most of what you've written. I've followed a few of your guides, and I've done worse than doing my own thing. Not sorry, but good luck!

Commento di PhiraNova

I am interested in seeing peoples thoughts on the trinket combo that I use for Delves. I run with Shining Arathor Insignia (593) and Shadowed Essence (593). Every week I sim myself on Raidbots and its saying I would need to get the BIS trinkets at Hero 2/6 before it out performed the combo I have. Can someone explain why that is?

Commento di dillybar

CREATE A NEW GUIDE FOR EACH SEASON/EXPANSION, stop updating old guides. You are ruining the ability to go back and actually look at historical information to do comparisons and other research. How is this so difficult for you to understand? It has been pointed out on multiple occasions but you continue to ignore common sense and you keep updating the same guide. Cripes.

Commento di Kaerfemagsh

um why is the versatility effect recommended for the DISC belt? i thought that was our worst 2ndary stat

Commento di KodokuTenshi

I understand the vers one is bis now, as per my own sims, but I don't understand your talent comment. @Tarlo. For me a murder of crows sims about 15k dps higher.

Commento di lovelywaz

When to Stop Using D.I.S.C as Beast Mastery Hunter?

You will not want to replace your D.I.S.C belt as it is better than any belt you'll find in Season 3.

I smell a nerf coming for that Belt. There's no way it's OK to have a 701 ilvl (22 ilvls lower) item from previous season be better than 6/6 mythic track belts @ 723 ilvl.

Commento di DigitalDecaf

How come you have Ascendence as the top pick for your first craft but its not even present on the embellishment ranking list? wouldn't you want elemental focusing lens on your gun according to your list?

Commento di Xeltes

Not sure if anyone will answer but. for the Unyielding Netherprism, how many stack do we want to have minimum to use? or is it one of those that we use it every other Call of the wild?. I checked under the add-on tier list you have but it just tells us, its DR good , Pack bad.

Commento di Asmer

Curious on why the Screams of a Forgotten Sky trinket is ranked so low?

I randomly simmed it on raidbots and it came out on top by a wide margin, and in practice it consistently makes up a good ~5-10% of my damage for a given fight. Am I missing something?

Commento di hazmaxed

~~The drop-down menu for comments needs an option for Midnight 12.0.~~ ~~The link to "Upgrading Items in The War Within" goes to a page that has not been updated for Midnight.~~ Corrected, thanks

Commento di Hawkx1

World Tender's Barkclasp and World Tender's Rootwalkers are 2-set tier pieces and as such cannot have additional embellishments added on

Commento di newvenari

Comment, but i doubt i'll get an answer since this guide just updates itself instead of making a new one each season/expac.

For Midnight Season 1, the embellishments on the crafted Belt/Boots, are they better than a crafted neck/weapon with embellishments? I feel like the procs would be better on those, than a small stat increase that you can get from the belt/boots.

Commento di hazmaxed

In the 12.1 trinket tier list, the informational notes for Keeper's Seething Core and Lightspire Core are identical. I don't think the one for the Keeper's Seething Core is correct, since the tooltip says nothing about needing to stand in anything. Fixed, thanks.

~~Also, the "filter by patch" dropdown needs an option for 12.1.~~ Fixed, thanks.

Commento di Kapaya

May i ask why we dont have a M+ only BiS list anymore?

Commento di newvenari

Your guide for BM hunter BIS shows raid gloves, but from Kings Rest dungeon?

Commento di polksc33

The trinket ranking is totally different from icy vein.

Commento di Rexican

Is there a type for the missive recommendation for crafting? It recommends Fireflash which is Crit and Haste. I think you actually want Peerless which is Crit and Mastery. Thanks for the great guides.
