The final, and lowest value craft, will be the Arcanoweave Lining to replace the embellishment on our weapon. This is fairly low priority, though, and should be done after youve upgraded most of your other slots. While this is technically the best embellishment when combined with the Loa Worshippers Band, the difference is marginal.

Weapon
Weapon item level is by far the highest priority thing to focus on for Unholy Death Knights. Everything we do scales up with weapon damage, making this the highest priority to upgrade, and it is not even close.

Strong Trinkets
Trinkets are the next most important piece of the puzzle for Unholy Death Knights, as we scale incredibly well with secondary stats. Upgrading these next is very likely to be your best move.

Lowest Item Level Pieces
After the 2 major priorities, things shift to just upgrading your gear to the highest item level possible, and that means eliminating your lowest item level pieces.

For the record, Cold Heart is still very useful in BfA for leveling - at least up until you are awarded a chest piece.

Since I took the helm as my first choice, I got to keep the power-ghouls from my shoulder legendary and the freeze effect a maxed stack offers on the chest-piece. The second choice was between helm and shoulders, so I went with the shoulders and swapped . This freed up a legendary slot, so I opted for the recommended ring since it had that handy gem slot - perfect for the new XP gem or simply buffing a stat.

I expect the third choice will include a chest-piece, and will have to swap out for the next best ring, but until then I'm still using Cold Heart.

Why on earth would you remove the pre-raid BiS list? It's relevant through all M+ keys.

ehm, are you completely sure this is the type of gear we would want to go after, with the stats on it. I agree with the azerite ones (head, chest, shoulder) but the rest, i don't know. It really feels like stacking mastery, haste and some less versatilty/ crit provides us with better results, since the recent changes- ghouls are just killing it with big mastery pool, and the haste, with unholy DK haste is always welcome for rune regen...i will have to make some more tests and sims but for now big ass mastery pool and some haste works best for me

This is probably a dumb question, but is there a comparable BiS weapon option for the other covenants from raids? The one listed above is the Venthyr sword if I'm not mistaken. I chose Necrolord, so would Grandascia Ossificata be the comparable choice?

Isn't supposed using only 4 pieces of tier? why are you telling to use 5 pieces? and another thing, here in gear you recomend to use unity/2nd legendary on boots, but on legendary section you sayed to use waist. so in which slot do we use after all?

Hey Biceps, I saw some discussions recently that Ruby Whelp Shell is apparently better DPS than Grieftorch now that people have figured out how to train it fully. Have you been following this?

I think it would be very valuable for us as UDK players to contribute to this simming, because from what I can tell, the Haste buff seems to be incredibly powerful particularly in raid. Unfortunately we can't get it to give Mastery, and I'm unsure if the Crit will pull ahead in M+, but Haste for raid seems like a solid BIS contender. That being said, I think people suspect the simple "AOE damage" one actually outdpses all other similar trinkets, so maybe that is a contender for M+ (seems like you would need 2 separate trinkets though to have 2 separate on-demand procs, but idk if that is true).

There's also unlucky variance, cause fully training into one effect still allows you to occasionally get the other similar effect, but...

Jeez I knew our S2 trinket situation was gonna be bad but I didn't know it would be THIS bad lol. I can't believe there are 0 passive trinkets that beat Puzzle Box when combined with Fragment (I mean, I CAN believe it cause PB is just so absurd, but that doesn't make it feel any less bad to be stuck using an old trinket)

Curious, your guide says to craft your weapon first because it's the most impactful but further down you list the order to craft items and suggest Belt and Boots before the weapon, is that a mistake?

Also, if you wouldn't mind adding the Alacritous Alchemist Stone to the trinket list I'd like your opinion on how it stacks up. Haste with a passive stat proc seems superior to all the M+ drops this season except maybe the fragment.

With this BiS list outside of Sark’s cloak, I’m at 5634 Haste and 4796 Mastery which drops to 4199 when equipping ‘Mirror of Fractured Tomorrow’. If I want MoFT to proc mastery instead of Haste to better help our opener CDs, should I gemming everything into Mastery/Crit to swap the stats? Having sub 30% Haste feels bad normally for sure.
