If I'm jumped by a melee class they'll certainly feel what tankadins are made of. I only die in bgs because they get help all the time. Out in the wilderness noone can hear their cries!

Yeah, a tank DK will probably stand a much higher chance when facing casters than we could ever have.

Like people said above, it greatly depends on what class you are and what class your attacker is. My tanking class is a prot pld, as such warriors and rogues aren't a problem and after awhile you just stop wondering why they're bothering trying to jump you. Part of it is just knowing what you can/can't do, another part is knowing your surroundings, and you also can know when you're most likely to get jumped. As a tankadin I've found most people will wait until you finish AoE'ing a group of enemies (if that is what you are doing) because you'll be low on Mana (though this will no longer be an issue with WotLK :D) Find a strategy that works for you. I reserve my most special treatment for Druids as they can take forever to kill. A Druid jumps me, I just turn off all reflective damage and run away. Preferably into a large group of aggro'ing mobs. Wait until they get close enough, bubble and stun them and help the mobs take them down. If they jump you, they deserve the repair bill.
