If it's true, it's kind of dumb. If goblins became a new playable race for horde, so few people would actually play them it'd be kind of pointless. We don't need a race that's played LESS than Trolls, thanks.

Its quite a stretch and I definitely wouldn't bet on it or jump the bandwagon. Nonetheless, it is something awesome to keep in mind.
Edit: Being logical, it would make more sense for these to start out Nuetral much like Death Knights. At the end of their quest chain they would then undergo some quest for either Horde or Alliance allegiance. What "I" personally would have it play out as:
Worgens have finally broken into Gilneas and spead the 'infection.' However, by some outside source (See: Sylvanis, Forsaken) they regain/maintain their sanity and are eventually given an offer by the factions, one resulting as acceptance by the Horde through Thrall. The other a proposition that research is being done by the Alliance to return them to their former selves. The Worgen makes his choice.

It would be unfortunate for the Alliance to end up with Worgen. Granted, Goblins seem to be the more likely of the two to end up with the Horde (giving the Horde a Gnome-esque race), and it would make sense somewhat with Worgen originating from Humans.Except Alliance hate scary monsters and shun them at the first sign of being kind of icky. Why do you think Undead and Blood Elves are Horde?Unfortnate? Why? I've always dreamed of this.

He probably means it's unfortunate because he wishes they would be Horde.

Exactly. I understand why, I just would prefer for them to be Horde.
Me too. Makes more sense anyways.
The Alliance is totally againt "abombinations." Only reason Draenei made it in is because they're best friends with the "light", which is what the Alliance looooves.

I'd love to see the study/poll that backs that up. I remember people saying(and i mean a LOT of people) we would almost never see 'paris hiltons and goat aliens' running around. I see them quite often
No one ever said there wouldn't be many blood elves. From the outset people were just worried they'd see tons of alliance rerolling blood elves. The initial worry was that there would be too many.
You'd have to make goblins a lot more appealing then they are right now if you wanted them to be the same in numbers.
