“You failed to understand. Like a mere mortal you failed to grasp the full scope of events you too know will come to pass. I have seen the End Time. I have seen the horror and madness which awaits all timelines when the hourglass’ last sand drips to the bottom. We are the same, Nozdormu, a pity you could not see that for yourself.”
On the sands of time in the rift between times and dimensions, Nozdormu lay, bleeding a slow and painful death. Above him flew not one, not two, but countless versions of his darker side; Murozond, the Lord of the Infinite and master of the Infinite Dragonflight. How had this come to be? By design. By the every turning hands of the clock. By the every dripping sands of the hourglass. This was as it would be, but not even the Aspect of Time had not thought it would be here this fast.
“The destination does not matter; it is the journey that we must live with.” Nozdormu coughed up more of his blood upon the sands as he spoke. He knew what would come, what this version of him would become. It would be just as it was with the countless others of himself, each falling to his corruption and arising again as a twisted, dark mockery of everything he had once stood for.
“But without the destination the journey never occurred!” each of the Murozond’s roared this, both failing and succeeding in filling the void. “Every timeline, every occurrence ends in the same exact place! The journeys have no effect on the grand scheme of time! But these End Time can be dodged, can be slowed from overtaking a time stream, but only through careful alteration and dramatic sacrifice…”
“We swore to not alter the timeline! Merely to ensure it went as it was meant to!”
“We swore madness!” the Murozonds roared again. “We can prolong the life of each and every time, but only if we make adjustments to the past!”
“There will come an exception,” Nozdormu groaned, feeling his life slowly slipping away. “Each step of a man, each beat of a butterfly’s wings alters the timeline. Eventually, a world will be spared the End Time.”
“No. There is no avoiding the End Time, it is as inevitable as the events that transpire here today. You will understand soon enough.”
“You will be stopped,” Nozdormu said, the light fading from his eyes as his clock began its final grind to a halt. “There are those with the power in the past, present, future…” With these last words, Nozdormu, the Timeless One, died.
And Murozond rose in his place.
This is basically another sandbox, open-world RP in the vein of A20 or Aftermath. However, there is a slight modification: the set time line for this is every timeline. Each of the WoW expansions - Classic, TBC, Wrath, Cata, and MoP once more information on story becomes available - takes place in this one RP, and your character can be placed in any one or multiple of these. A slight modification to the typical Name/Race/Location set up is required, however:
Name: <Characters' name(s)>
Location: <Location>
Era: <Classic WoW - TBC - Wrath - Cata - MoP>
You can have one character span multiple eras, should you decide, but that could easily cause complications (given events will continue to happen to your past character as well). It could be done, albeit carefully.
Enjoy and post away!
( I'll be making my character posts in a little bit )

((Just a suggestion before I start adding characters, you should add a third war era. :P))
(( That's kinda what I imagine Cata / MoP to be, moreso MoP. Given the lack of information for said cleaning tool, though, I'm not sure how to handle it. Characters posts in next post. ))

Characters:
Curho Demoneye
,
Lak’tuk Demoneye
Location: Shadow Hold, Felwood
Era: Classic
Curho Demoneye, warlock of the Burning Blade and the Shadow Council, sat in his personal chambers, eyes closed and legs folded in meditation. He was quietly focusing his power, channeling the fel and demonic shadow through his body in ways that would drive the warlocks of the Horde and the Alliance insane. They were weak, cowards afraid to embrace the full power of the demons. He had no such limits.
On the surface, Lak’tuk skipped around merrily, looking at the fel. She had been raised by Curho for a number of years now, and had forgotten where she really came from. But she did not care anymore, this was her home now, and Curho Demoneye was her father.
Characters:
Timothy Vrote
, Twilight's Hammer Clan
Location: Twilight's Hammer Encampment, Silithus
Era: Classic
"This world is doomed," Timothy joyously pronounced. "Hives like Zora will grow to resemble the Nether itself breaking through the crust of the earth, and those whom had not embraced the Old Gods will choke the noxious fumes of the Silithid and their masters! The Ancient Ones day of reckoning has arrived and none shall be spared their wrath! All of Azeroth will be reduced to its most primitive state, and it is this state, this perfection in the eyes of our Elder Masters, which we strive for!"
His left hand twitched as he spoke, as it always did. The mutated fingers writed around one another and the flesh itself moved almost of its own accord. It was a blessing of the Old Gods, yes, and Timothy was greatful for it every day to his life. In return for his sign of gratitude from his masters, he would strive harder than ever to bring this world to its end.
Character:
Marissa "Talah" Blackswallow
Location: Silverpine Residence, Silverpine Forest
Era: The Burning Crusade
Talah rolled her neck as she sucked another fel crystal dry of its energy. Another job completed, another rewards reaped. This client had paid handsomely too; gold and fel crystals. He must have really hated his mother-in-law. Of course, given that she was a high elf and he a human married to her quel’dorei daughter, life would easily be better for him now that the raving hag of a wench was dead.
Not that Talah cared. She had been paid well enough, and even though she did not know where the boy had gotten the fel, she was glad she had taken on the assignment.
A knock on her door drew her attention. “Go away, I’m busy.” The knock returned, harder than before.. “Are you deaf? Or are you simply an idiot?” The knocking continued.
With a growl of frustration she jumped to her feet and grabbed one of her daggers. Storming up to the door she swung it open, only to see nothing but a small package lying on the ground. She picked it up, too light to be any physical trap, and no aura to suggest a magical one. She opened it, inside were twenty seven gold coins, a list, and a note. The note read:
The payment for each successful kill will increase exponentially.
Talah closed the door behind her and sat down to read her new contract.
Characters:
Vrem Dartskul
,
Morec, House of Rivendare
,
Sithia Frozenbone
Location: Howling Fjord
Era: Wrath of the Lich King
“God, this is going to get convoluted quickly.”
“What’s that, Morec?”
“Nothing, just the feeling that, somewhere in the future, I’m being led to a magic-resistant jail cell.”
Sithia nodded and looked over the gorge. “Well, this is a truly wonderful sight to behold.”
“I know,” Morec said, holding up the skull of a vrykul he had just slain. “And an excellent opportunity to! I always wanted to do this!”
“If you start quoting Shakebeard plays, I will freeze you where you stand.”
“Sorry, dear.”
Just a few feet away, Vrem was busy sharpening his axe in silence. Rottalon sat on his shoulder while Marrow sniffed the ground, looking for more pray.
Characters:
Shadowheart Disciples
(
Amanda the Shadowheart
,
Hannah Soultouched
,
Maria the Lightbender
,
Damion Plaguemoore
)
Location: Vengeance Landing
Era: Wrath of the Lich King
“Behold, my brothers and sisters,” Amanda the Shadowheart said as she stepped from the zeppelin tower onto the cold – not that she could feel that, though – hard ground of the fjord. “This settlement is truly a testament to the might of the Forsaken! It is from here we will spread through Northrend like disease on a carcass, and it shall be a disease that causes even the might Lich King to fall!”
“Yes, milady,” Damion said, Hannah and Maria also nodded in agreement.
"Come, there is much work to be done." Amanda strode off to assist the Forsaken in maintaining their foothold in the Fjord, Hannah, Maria, and Damion all followed close by.
Characters:
Ivan “Bloodhowl” Jeret
,
Krista “Blackbite” Jeret
Location: Cape of Stranglethorn, Stranglethorn Vale
Era: Cataclysm
Ivan and Krista ran through the jungle. Somewhere behind them was a group of Horde, armed to the teeth and looking to kill any humans they stopped. The two Gilneans had been unlucky enough to spot them, and they were neither capable of fighting them off or willing to. Doing so would have… terrible consequences for the both of them. Consequences which, while could surely save their lives, would doom them to a worse fate than death.
Character:
Blaine Jeret
Location: Darkshore
Era: Cataclysm
Blaine stepped off of the transport ship. Darkshore had been rocked by the Cataclysm indeed. He had seen the mayhem and disaster as the ship had approached the shoreline, but from up close he could truly tell the destruction had been something of apocalyptic proportions. “Elune and Light save us all,” he muttered, walking across the dock.
Character:
Morec, House of Rivendare
, Stormwind Guards
Location: Stormwind Vault, Stormwind
Era: Cataclysm
“You wanna know how I got these scars?”
“No.” The guards pushed Morec along roughly. His hands were incased in two cement chunks that were lined with protective runes and enchantments designed to keep him from using any magic whatsoever. The entirety of Stormwind Vault was similarly designed. Created by Nielas Aran some number of years ago to hold the criminals of Stormwind that had magical capabilities, it had been opened up to hold war prisoners of the magical variety. Morec was one such prisoner.
Eat one too many orphans, he thought with a sigh. You would think these guards never saw wanton slaughter before!
He was roughly pushed into a cell. “Don’t I get a phone call?” The magical barrier sealed shut. “Apparently not.” He sat down and looked over at the skeletal remains of this cell’s last inhabitant. “Don’t look at me like that,” Morec glared at it. “I don’t swing that way.”

Kishkumaen sat above the cell Morec had been pushed into. Shadow cloaked him, covering him and where he had set several spikes into the wall, from which he hung, cradling a rifle.

Sashastrasza

Cataclysm
Sasha hummed along as she weaved he flowers into a wreath, smiling widely as she blew on it and change the colors of its flowers. She nodded, happy with her handy work. Grabbing the birthday card the buyer had left with her, she stuck it into the middle of the wreath, setting the gift-to-be in a box.
Once taping the box up, she made her way outside; dropping it into the mailbox and watching it vanish in a sparkle of light. The girl clapped and smiled; oh how she loved watching magic at work.

"Lord Demoneye, the spells require your attention."
Curho opened his eyes and stood. "What is the matter now?" he growled, stepping out of his chamber and following the cultist towards the main hall.
"We're not sure, although we suspect tampering from the outside."
"They are malfuctioning?"
"No, simply not working."
Curho sighed. What progress could be made in his grand scheme if
this
was the kind of help he had? At least none of those damnable adventurers were slaughtering them by the thousands. Of course, he was likely speaking too soon.
Character:
Morec, House of Rivendare
, Stormwind Guards
Location: Stormwind Vault, Stormwind

"Wanna know how I got these scars?" Morec asked a guard passing by his cell. The guard said nothing, just kept walking, prompting a sigh from Morec. "Note to self, don't let target of monolouge decided whether or not you spew said monologue.

"Just now you're showing up? It's about tim!"

Kishkumaen slipped from the roof, landing soundlessly behind the guard as he strode past Morec's cell. A balisongclacked open in his hand, which had several runes traced onto the metal. Simultaneously, he stepped forward and stabbed. The blade sank into the guard's heart, and he collapsed. Kish grabbed him as the guard sank and lowered him slowly to the ground, then turned to Morec's cell.
"Don't say a word," he warned, slipping a lockpick and inserting it into the lock with his dagger. A few seconds later, the door clicked open.

"Prison break!" a guard a ways down the hall shouted, seeing Kish and the death knight. "A prisoner is escape, seal all exits!" The guard turned and ran around the corner to warn the rest of the vault's watchmen.
"Well," Morec said, "that dosn't bode well. May I advise we run like hell towards the armory?"

Kish raised an eyebrow at Arthevold. "You could suggest it," he said to the fallen Morec, "but I suggest we do this instead."
He held out a hand and clicked a button attached to a small remote. A portal swirled open in front of them. "Go ahead," Kish said, unslinging his rifle and taking position by the portal. "There's another one through there. I'll meet up with you later."
Kneeling, he started shooting down the hallway.

The gaurds choked on the smoke as they ran into it to try and find Kish, swinging their weapons wildly in an attempt to hit him. It was only by sheer luck they managed to avoid hitting one another.

Characters:
Timothy Vrote
, Twilight's Hammer Clan
Location: Twilight's Hammer Encampment, Silithus
Era: Classic
Timothy Vrote saw the night elf, and his face drained of all blood. "What are you?" he asked. She was something of Old God origin, that he was fairly sure. She was unnatural, out of place. Surely the Elder Ones were the only beings capable of creating such a lifeform?
Character:
Marissa "Talah" Blackswallow
Location: Lower City, Shatarath City
Era: The Burning Crusade
Talah had been worried that she would have to make the full trip to the Undercity to seek the assistance of a mage there, however she had been fortunate enough to run into one on the road. An exchange of gold and portal spell later, she was in Shatarath - the supposed last location of a "Venhildara Stoneglory". Best to start at the bottom of the list, she had decided.
She headed for the World's End Tavern. If this "Stoneglory" woman had been here, her name suggested she would have gone looking for a drink.
