I vote for making a sticky that has this info as well as why SoB/SoM is better in raid situations over command. I've seen dozens of topics just like this.

I'll add it to the FAQ if someone wants to post a well written answer :P
Besides, a PvE ret paladin should have both.

let us think...
BoM grants you 550AP at max level, with Impr.BoM that would be +25% - nearly 690AP (687,5)
BoK grants you 10% bonus to ur strength and other attributes... you may hope to increase your crit. chance with it, but the amount will not be considerable, since most of retri-paladin gear gives critical strike raiting instead of agility
and 1 point of strength is 2AP (as far as I know)...
so we have that to give you extra 690 AP BoK must give you 345strength... assuming that it is 10% of your initial value you must have 3450 (O_omg) strength for making BoK as powerful as ImprBoM
So... include BoK to your build and buff ur party if they need that, but for yourself... use the BoM
Also on that point, with the much str you will be pumping out so much damage a buff would be novelty if you had those stats.

What does BoK give?
10% strength, at ~1500 str, ~150 Str or 300 AP
10% agility, at ~120 agi, 12 agi or ~0.25% crit
10% health for AoE encounters
10% more mana for god knows what
Health is a factor, and you're losing out on about 400 AP or 200 stat points for it between kings and might.

10% stamina... not health. Which isn't the biggest factor for ret. But BoK scale a little better than +10% STR, since we already have +15% STR. It bumps it up to like 126.5% STR.

It's roughly a 10% health increase, a bit smaller.
And no, it's not a 126.5% bump, that's a bit confusing on the wording.
It's
(115%) * (
110%
)
or
(
110%
)
depending on talents.
a flat 10% increase from what you had before kings.

All hail! I've done the math, and submitted this for addition to the FAQ
Blessing of Might Vs. Blessing of Kings
Which blessing is better for a ret paladin? The simple answer is
Blessing of Might
. Blessing of Might will give you more attack power than
Blessing of Kings
about 95% of the time. This is of course assuming that we are comparing both fully speced (
Improved Blessing Might
and
Improved Blessing of Kings
). In wich cases BoM will give you 687.5 attack power and BoK will give you 10% more of each of your states.
There is however a certain situation in which you will gain more attack from from Blessing of Kings than from Blessing of Might. If your character has a total stregth value of 3438 or higher you will gain more attack power from Blessing of Kings than Blessing of Might. This is much easier to do with
Divine Strength
speced.*
(3438 Strength) x (10% bonus from BoK) = (343.8 more strength)
(343.8 strength) x (2 attack power per point of strength) = (687.6 attack power)
* It is a common belief that Divine Strength makes each point of strength give you 2.3 attack power and not the normal 2. This is both correct and incorrect. For example, if you have a weapon with 100 strength on it, you WOULD gain 230 attack power from it, but that is only because Divine strength gave you 15% more strength when you equiped it, thus effectively making the weapon give you 115 strength instead of the 100.
Feel free to check my math, hope I did not make a mistake.
