I was so excited to complete the weekly quest for the first time and use my
Radical Mojo
to upgrade my Holy gear... but in my haste I forgot to switch to that spec and now I have a useless piece of Ret gear that isn't an upgrade. (Thankfully, I can at least disenchant it.)
Unfortunately, the GM responded to my ticket and basically said, "Tough luck". Let my stupidity be a warning to you all! :)

Yes, with anything now that has a pool of possible loot you need to ensure you have your Loot Preference updated appropriately before turning anything in, killing a boss, etc etc.

this also includes quests.
In short, when you mix the latent armor pieces with the mojo, the resulting item will depend on your Loot Preference. Which can be set to automatically match your currently selected spec, or set into a specific spec all the time.

You could try opening a ticket, you might get lucky & a good GM will respond.
After alll the Kor'kon peices do say CURRENT spec not loot spec, huge difference there.

I did open a ticket, as I mentioned in my original post. Unfortunately, the GM said it's policy that they won't refund my Mojo.

Sorry you lost your Mojo to that B@stard of a turn in system, but I'm sure you'll realize that you never lost it in the first place and that the entire time you wasted trying to get it refunded, you could have been shagging a beautiful blonde secret agent instead.
Now how many references did you count :D
