Defense usually includes the FC, two healers, and one or two DPS that are capable of slowing, providing utility, and possibly killing the enemy team's offense team. However, if the team is confident enough sometimes they only keep one DPS back instead of two. For example, if a team is fighting a melee-heavy team and they have a Hunter or Frost Mage, they may keep one of those classes because because they have several slows to use against the enemy team while the defense team kites around the base.

However, if there are only 1-2 minutes left in the game and the enemy team is playing full defense because they will win based on the last cap, everyone but the FC should go offense. If there is a Rogue or another class in stealth making a solo mission for the flag carrier, it may be best to keep one strong, cooldown-based healer at the base that has Unchained Gladiator's Medallion available. Usually this is the job of a Holy Paladin because of their Ultimate Sacrifice and Divine Shield combo, especially if they get sapped by the Rogue because they need to save they more than likely need to save Unchained Gladiator's Medallion for Blind. The FC at this point should just stand on the cap point because if the team successfully returns the flag, it will immediately cap. This will prevent any risk of an enemy that could be waiting in stealth from picking up the flag and causing the team to lose.

Offense usually includes the third healer and the remaining DPS. There are situations that may occur when it is necessary to have two healers on the offense team to be more aggressive. This is typically when the FC and the other healer have all cooldowns available, the debuff stacks on the FC are low, and the enemy team is only sending 1-2 players on their offense push. Players should recognize this because by having a more aggressive offense team, it may help guarantee a kill during that push. DO NOT attempt this if the second healer will not know when or how to peel back fast enough, especially if the enemy team decides to sends an offense team while the second healer is positioning to go with the offense team.

Best Twin Peaks Tips

There are speed buffs to the left of the main entrance (looking towards the base) of the buildings for each base. They are indicated on the map above.
Personally, I make sure the speed buff is grabbed in the beginning of the match so the EFC does not get a free speed boost when they grab the flag or leave the flag room.

Each side of the map contains 2 structures, one structure contains a berserker buff and the other contains a restoration leaf. Their locations are indicated on the map above.

Keep track of the EFC at all times!
Usually the EFC goes to the second floor for more escape route options, knockbacks, and more. Sometimes in lower MMR games, EFCs may even stand directly on the cap point. Players need to know where the EFC is so everyone does not just charge into the base without noticing the EFC is already kiting towards the enemy graveyard for more reinforcements or in a different position than what is assumed.

If the EFC is kiting around the base, players need to be able to attack them from two directions (i.e. pinch the EFC at a chokepoint) rather than just trailing behind in a line and not being able to catch up because of the enemy's defense team.

Players need to be able to see where the EFC is trying to kite and cut them off is possible. This will help hinder their kiting options and allow the team to catch up and set up a kill.

If the EFC is alone, sometimes they will wait for the team to commit to the ramp that leads up towards the second floor before dropping down and kiting to their graveyard or reinforcements. Players need to be able to recognize this strategy immediately because then a Rogue could wait on the first floor and immediately CC the EFC once they drop, allowing more time for the team to connect.

If there is Havoc Demon Hunter on the team, they should be trying to control the enemy team’s Rogue and/or other enemies that can stealth by using Spectral Sight to hinder offense pushes.
By keeping track of when they resurrect in the graveyard (especially if they immediately stealth once they are able to), sometimes a good Havoc Demon Hunter can predict where they will be after a period of time and use their Spectral Sight more effectively. This gives them a higher chance of finding enemies in stealth and being able to put them in combat.
