This is a magic debuff and can be dispelled.

Blood Barrier - Zul'gamux shields herself in a barrier of blood and begins siphoning blood from her enemies, inflicting 4 Shadow damage every 0.5 sec and healing for 0% of that amount. Blood Barrier absorbs the next 350 damage and grants immunity to interrupts.

Shadow Eruption - Unleashes a powerful Shadow Eruption inflicting 50 Shadow damage and reducing healing received by 70% for 10 sec.

Hypnosis Bat - Summons a Hypnosis Bat to put a player into a terrifying state of Hypnosis.
Hypnosis - Places the player in a Shadowy Barrier and sends the player into a Hypnosis. Hypnosis inflicts Shadow damage every 1 sec and causes the player to become hostile to allies until the Hypnosis is broken.

Shadowy Barrier - Absorbs damage and keeps the player in a state of Hypnosis. Suffering 7 Shadow damage every 1 until the Hypnosis is broken.

Are we sure this is how Zul'gamux (mini-boss) works? 2nd day S4, and at a full group of 3k rio players, and there is no dpsing through that blood barrier.....he has already healed the full amount on a 15+.....blood barrier broken maybe once. Dragging the BAT on top of Zul'gamux and killing it, seems to break the barrier for interrupt. Saying only mortal strike works seems extremely fail to prevent his heal. He cast bat, 2-3 sec later he Shadow Eruption, preventing bat from being able to drag onto boss, then blood barrier and he is static. Hence, wow allowing player to still have control during MC.....but timing is too tight. Range of bat death is also extremely tight. killing BAT at 3 yards fails to break bubble, killing bat on top of bat seems to work, on 15+, destroying barrier at about 50%. You can DPS on a 12- no problem without bat drag, but I feel this post is both misleading and inaccurate. Otherwise your stuck at 5% health drops inbetween the endless cycle, sucking up our precious time. Putting mortal strike from war as only recourse makes little to no sense and class locked. I think the mechanic is screwed up, and so is the timing with Shadow Eruption right after bat spawn, It makes the heal time at 50% of cast unavoidable. leaves bat up too long, and unable to be drug on boss, while one player is MC'd. I think this needs more testing, and confusing everyone by day 2 on live retail.Everyone is skipping mini on higher keys. Why are we skipping mini boss with a x3 buff? Something is broken with that Mech. Thanks

OR the shield is overtuned, same 50% or less scenario on blood shield/heal cast on an 11, which makes me think bat needs to die immediately, returning player to group, and massive dps to get rid of shield so the cast is interruptible and we only have 1-2 rotations. Either way, this thread is not clear. It isn't straight forward as Blizz stated, and todays patch notes- state volatile testing....what does that mean?
