Just like on Heroic, the first part of the encounter will feel fairly simple. Ranged DPS should stand near the opposite wall from the direction the boss will be moving towards. This positioning can be seen in the diagram.

The ranged DPS will stay in this position until Bottled Anima becomes empowered and starts leaving Lingering Anima on the ground.

Concentrated Anima should be placed on top of the boss, as shown in the diagram. The positioning of these will change as the boss moves around the room.

Concentrated Anima drop positioning, if your raid happens to get all three debuffs.

When Anima Container 4 (the far right side one if you’re facing the boss) reaches 6%, it will need to be opened. This is the only mandatory drain through the entire encounter.

When the boss changes which container is being empowered, we mark that as the beginning of Phase 2.

Through this phase, the ranged and healers will trail the boss as she is moved along the edge of the room.

Ranged and healers must remain near the edges of the room always to avoid baitingLingering Anima towards the center, since that area needs to be clear for Sins and Suffering.

The last part of this encounter is when three of the Anima Containers are 66% full.

If your raid will be close to the encounter's Enrage, Container 2 (the container to the immediate left of the boss’s spawn point) can be drained from 88 to 80 to get you an extra 10 seconds before Enrage.

In this phase Sins and Suffering will spawn Anima Webs that spin, and Bottled Anima will bounce into the center of the room.

Deal with Sins and Suffering as quickly as possible to give players time for Bottled Anima.

If your raid happens to make it to the 7th set of adds, it is important to ignore them, because you will not get a new set before the boss enrages. Still keep in mind that they need to be interrupted, but all damage should be focused in the boss.

During this phase, players targeted by Concentrated Anima will also be rooted. Assign Monks and Paladins to use Hand of Freedom and Tiger’s Lust to enable the targeted players to get in the assigned positions.

Several classes can immune the application of Concentrated Anima. Short cooldown spells, such as Spell Reflect, and Anti-Magic Shell can be used on every single set. On the other hand, longer cooldown spells should be used on set number 4, which happens about 4 minutes into the fight.

Your raid should have two interrupt rotations of 5 players set up for each of the Conjured Manifestations. Several helpful WeakAuras are available to make this easier for your raid.

DPS

Phase 1 of this encounter is generally the most lenient, with not many mechanics. For this reason it is best to use Bloodlust on pull, along with all DPS cooldowns.

The longest possible combat time on this boss is about 6 minutes, meaning that classes with 3 minute or 4 minute cooldowns will only get two uses. We recommend using these at 5 minutes, when second potions become available.

Concentrated Anima adds spawn about 50 - 60 seconds apart, and they are generally worth saving cooldowns for that.

Healer

Loose Anima is the majority of the damage taken on this encounter. The damage of this ability will spike slightly around 1:00 and 5:00, because an Anima Container will be vented for a short duration.

Players linked together by Shared Suffering will take significantly more damage than others in the raid, and will likely requires spot healing.

Expect to allocate healing cooldowns for damage overlaps, such as Shared Cognition and Shared Suffering, or later overlaps where Change of Heart and Rank 3 Bottled Anima happen at the same time.

On the last part of the encounter, players who have to deal with Sins and Suffering must be kept alive at all costs. If one of these players dies, it will most likely mean a wipe for your raid.

Tank

On Mythic difficulty, whenever the boss applies Warped Desires, check for the direction of Hidden Desire and face it.

Tank positioning and taunt swaps are extremely important on this encounter, because Tanks also get rooted while dealing with Hidden Desire.

Make sure that the tank with aggro on the Harnessed Specter is always in melee range of it when a taunt swap happens.

Tanks should always swap after two stacks of Warped Desires, with the exception of the first swap, which should happen at a single stack.
