During Legion, the Mage Tower awarded most specs a new weapon appearance, yet players who missed earning those still have countless other admirable weapon transmogs to collect across the whole of the game. But for Guardian druids, the Mage Tower prize was an alternate bear form with a unique silhouette and animations. There is simply nothing else like it in the game. For years, we’ve heard feedback from druid players who are frustrated that something so transformative is no longer available, and we agree.

Therefore, in Legion Timewalking, Guardian druids who complete The Highlord’s Return challenge will also receive a new fel variant of the “werebear” form.

Is the artifact weapon transmog would be applied by completing the mage tower? Anyone knows? I really need that cool dreadblade transmog.

They really should have made a weapon transmog, not necessarily the original mage tower artifact looks, but maybe some updated tbc weapons or something would have been nice. I mean when you do mage tower you expect a weapon imo, not some recolor armor set. You want something unique for such a hard challenge.

Is there any reason to complete all challenges on one class? I'm going after all the Tmog and the mounts but not sure if it's worth doing them all on a single class.

Wait wait wait. So blizzard heard feedback that ppl didn't like that the druid mage tower werebear forms were no longer obtainable and they agreed with the feedback so they added in a recolor for druids. What about the feedback to bring back mage tower artifact skins for other classes? U can't be serious right now. I am so sick of this bs. Oversight after oversight after oversight. What is going thru ur heads? Just an obvious thing to do. At least give us an explanation as to why ur not bringing them back. I'm so done.

What a disappointment. Just more regurgitated transmog. :-( WoW needs to start hiring fashion designers, because the transmogs are terrible! The only decent one is the duid bear, but even that is a legion regurgitated variant. Yuck.

So in terms of getting t20 set it does not really matter what spec you complete the challenge on? Or are there any recolors to at least distinguish tank and dps spec/set if your class has it?

I just got the felbear. The challenge was hard. 200 plus wipes. I beat it in content and now. It's one of the most rewarding things I've done in WOW

Personally found this to be much harder then back in Legion for the weapons. Ret palla challenge is all about patience, not so much damage, whereas the DH was horrible. Big gratz to anyone getting the armors now. I love the recolor on the Paladin, as well as the DK, DH is too subtle to notice, and again they had no love for hunters.
