What I am interested in is which anima powers stack? Like, can I get multiple of those %chance for kill shot to instagib the target to effectively reach 100%? Or?

Comment by Elchemist

If the hunter does not have line of sight on the target, damage is instead increased by 3000%

So if i turn around and have my back to the target will i get the buff? seems very...Hunter to stare at a wall or fire in the wrong direction and do the most DPS :D

I'm excited for the new content. However, I'm worried as they continue to develop abilities for the expansion that any abilities that can do damage to "all enemies in an area", particularly passive ones, will have the same effect they did in BfA while questing. I never had issues with AOE damage abilities both deliberate and passive in previous expansions, but in BfA, when you start fighting a few mobs for the quest objective, you end up getting every non-aggressive, non-quest related mob in the immediate area fighting you because of the ability. Some might say, "just single target and don't use any AOE", but often enough you have no choice but to fight a group of mobs and single target may not be enough to survive while leveling. I do like having a lot of local animals around, but using those talents/azerite gear options/etc. you end up having to kill all of them which is both unnecessary (D.E.H.T.A.'s wouldn't approve) as well as time consuming. I hope the next expansion doesn't have as much of an issue with those abilities aggro-ing everything in the clearing.

Anyway, I love reading about the changes. It sounds like this expansion will be full of interesting dynamics and content.

Rant mode on: MM Hunter anima powers stink and the drop rates are skewed beyond reason. Seriously, I got 5 Feline Femurs in 5 floors. Know how many times I use Aspect of the Cheetah in Torghast? Zero.
There's no real boosts to damage that make a difference. Warlock pets are basically raid bosses by the end of a run, but my poor tank pet gets absolutely nothing except the ability to one-shot maw rats.

But hey, thanks for the cooldown on a useless speed boost. Appreciate it.

Hunter powers are awful in general, and the developers must think that as a Beast Mastery Hunter I am disengaging my way from mob to mob, killing them with tar traps.

It's extremely obvious that they were left for last and then someone who doesn't even play Hunter did a rush job on this. "Hey it's 5:02pm and I gotta get home, lets make Disengage drop traps!" Cool except as BM I have no damaging traps. "Lets put pet damage increases on things like mawrats and phylacteries!" Cool except boss levels have neither of those, and the 30 second internal CD on the mawrat power makes it absolute garbage. Also, nobody wants to waste time walking over to phylacteries that they destroyed with multishot just so that they can pick up a FIFTEEN SECOND damage buff. Give me a break with this crap.

Defenses and survivability are nice, but what Hunters need is the kind of "I WIN" combo that other classes get. Barring that, at least give us something whacky and zany that is FUN.

Seems like they're SOOOOO afraid of making things imbalanced that they just err on the side of dull, boring, and lame.

Necrotic Venom doesnt work for Beast mastery or Survival, no tooltip change, no DMG change, nothing.

you shouldnt have to find out its broken 6 months later in a wowhead comment, but you do.
