I just finished this on my affli lock alt, after doing the Destro one mostly for the book/ skin.
This one is harder to pick up but once you realize you just shouldn't be greedy, it gets way easier.
As the talents are already updated for 10.0.7 in the guide, I did it in 10.0.5 and just these here.
My main changes were to put the points out of soul flame as I mostly just cleave and kite the adds and into Tormented crescendo and Wrath of consumption, the latter mostly for the last phase.
Tormented crescendo was a helpful tool to have one or two burst casts while moving (and you move A LOT).

Here a short breakdown, but you can do it!

Before the fight: Place gateway and circle (I forgot the circle on my kill but saw that it was way harder without it), I also placed the felhunter infront of Karam for instant dmg on him.
P1: Just keep the DoTs and most importantly, THE SLOW, on Karam, when he is close to 34 % (so around 40), don't reapply haunt to have it back up for Raest.
P2: So, this may sound weird, but just survive. I did the whole DoT thing and bursted him a bit, but you can easily outlast him after karam is dead so put some DoTs in and dmg him and the adds (Vile Rapture some and Darkglare) but just don't die and have Drain Life and your escape options ready.
P3: This is sort of the only dmg check but it's not a hard one. You want to kill the hands before their 2nd cast. DoT them up (incl. Unstable affliction to burst them down with some Malefic Rapture Procs) and kill them, ALWAYS slow Karam, I opted to leave haunt on Karam to get a little more dmg on him, but no real need to, although if you are too slow, he gets fast. But that needs quite some time.
P4: Same as in P2, make sure to move your demon into the runes. That's it.
P5: Drums and pot to burst Karam. You should play one hand and you can completely ignore the 2nd one. Priests have to disperse, Mages have to iceblock, but locks just... take the hit and don't care. You probably kill Karam before the 1st cast or interrupt that one and kill him before the 2nd one. But don't stress about it. The hand(s) despawn once Karam is dead
Endphase:
Tldr: Kite the adds, DoT Raest, that's it.
I swapped to imp, to have a demon that can attack while still standing in runes. You can basically drain life at will, especially with Soul Rot but a rule of Thumb should be at around 70 or so % to Drain Life but you can definitely go lower. Vile Taint on the adds sometimes for some soul shards but because you move so much you probably won't spend all anyways.

So, as a summary: Don't stand near Karam, kite him all the time. Burst hands, kite adds, heal if you're low.
