Type and Level: Search for a certain type of item, like all Leather Helms + Gloves or all rare guns. You can further narrow things by their required level if you're interested in twinking or leveling upgrades.

Phase Availability: There are six content phases in Classic WoW, with many pieces of gear coming from PvP, dungeons, or raids in later phases, so we've organized all items by their phases. For example, here's a filter of all Mail Armor added in Phase 5 (Ahn'Qiraj).

Stats: You can filter gear by every stat in Classic WoW, ranging from Primary stats like Agility to defensive ones like Fire Resistance. For example, here's the filter for items that grant Ranged Attack Power and here's the filter for Ranged Weapons with speed 2.8 or higher.

Source: There are filters for all types of sources, including drops, crafted items, and quests. For example, here's a list of all bows from quests requiring level 30 or higher to equip.

The best melee weapon enchant is an Intelligence enchant? What?

Comment by Adreaver

Pre-raid BiS makes no mention of dual wield Bone Slicing Hatchets with +15 Agility on each?

Dense Shortbow - for lvl 30

Comment by epictheepicest

I see that you mention Bloodseeker but I don't understand why it didn't make it to the BiS list? It does 25-30 more dps than Rhok'delar, Longbow of the Ancient Keepers and scales better with attack power (higher damage weapons scale better with AP). Even Blackcrow is better than Rhok'delar but still worse than Bloodseeker because you get 3% hit from talents and can easily get 6% hit from armor. Even Lok'delar is just bad compared to other weapons you can get from dungeons/raiding. The quest is cool and fun and a nice challenge, but it's stupid when you can sit in AV for an hour and get a better weapon. Blame blizzard, but don't forget to take advantage of it.

Comment by jdmaddison

It would help to include the ammo / arrows available at each level. Nice guide.

Comment by Ookoo

Says we can't use fist weapons, but for phase 5 our BiS main hand is the Fist Weapon Silithid Claw... we sure can use fist weapons

Comment by ghostintheruins

Sayoc doesn't teach staves.

Comment by Zaviothan

I would add Fine Light Crossbow to the list, bought at vendor and if you don't get venomstrike its the best available on your list until lvl28

Comment by Vortak

Privateer Musket from The Guns of Northwatch

Comment by ac604

Sidegunner Shottie from Gizelton Caravan as an alternative to Flash Rifle

Comment by Barocus

Page should be updated with current Phase weapons/info. This is currently outdated Classic.
AQ40? Naxx?

Comment by frankdj100

I'd say Heavy Recurve Bow should be part of the notable bows list. Requires level 20, 9.2 dps, 15-29 damage, speed 2.40.
