Revamped Class Guide Template for Users
Is there a particular niche build you'd like to write about? Wowhead now has an easy-to-use Class Guide system that lets you embed calculators, select enchants, gems, and weights! Tag your guide for different types of PvE or PvP content so others can find it easily. Guides can be browsed on our
Class Guide Section
(note the Legion subdomain in the URL) and can be further filtered by spec and tag.
To set up a Class Guide, make sure you have a Class and Specialization option selected on the Guide Edit page. Or hit "Create a Guide" when browsing any of the calculators.
Transmog
Frequently Asked Questions
The transmog collection is a new account-wide collection system. However there are a number of restrictions based on your armor type and class. We have compiled a list of the most
Frequently Asked Questions
and provided answers.
There are three new transmog slots, which we have guides for:
Weapon Illusions
,
Shirts
and
Tabards
.
Weapon Illusions send you all over the world to loot items from bosses or rep vendors, and some are even crafted by Enchanters! Including never-before seen ones like Netherflame from
Tome of Illusions: Outland
.
Hide shoulder option has been added, and hide helm/cloak have been moved to a Transmog UI option.
The
Fabulous
achievement requires you to collect dozens of appearances and rewards title.
Wowhead Transmog Tools and Modelviewer
Here is an overview of some of the transmogrification tools Wowhead offers. We pride ourselves on having the most extensive transmog features, fueled by our modelviewer.
The
Dressing Room
allows players to plan their transmog appearance. Customize your character and swap different gear sets to find the perfect look. You can even preview Demon Hunter models and their unique armor variants.
Saving an appearance in the Dressing Room adds it to our
Outfit Database
! If you're looking for a creative set, browse the 20,000+ submitted outfits to find the perfect one.
The original transmog resource in Cataclysm was the
Transmog Set Database
and it's still around and improved! Browse officially-matching sets by race and filter by source or type. Transmog set pages now show popular cape and weapon pairings, as well as any other slot that is incomplete.
Item pages have several Transmog-related tabs. "Same Model As" shows items with identical and recolored appearances, "Transmogrified With" shows the top 4 transmog pairings for popular slots, and "Outfits" shows user-submited sets that use that particular item.
Browse a bunch of item appearances at once by hitting "Gallery" when you filter for a list of items.
New Wardrobe Tracking Feature
With the
Wardrobe tool
on Wowhead, you can see your entire in-game Appearances collection for any character on your account. If you "Pin" a character on their Profile page, you can then see completion information for transmog appearances on any items page, tooltip, or item filter list. Great if you are scanning a bunch of items at once and want to see which you are missing.
Players that have already set up their account to verify characters on Wowhead will automatically have Wardrobe data uploaded. For example, if you have previously entered a beta key giveaway or tracked toys on the Profiler. Simply look up your character on this page to see their Wardrobe information.
If you are new, you can read up on
how to set up your account

Achievements have a search bar.
Stats pane has been greatly simplified.
Glyphs are added through your spellbook. Will be indicated with a purple marker and a tooltip when you hover over the ability.
Toy Box Revamp
The Toy Box revamp will also free up space in your inventory. Many items classified as vanity items are now correctly classified as toys. Full list
here
.
Some notable ones include:
MOLL-E
,
Blingtron 5000
,
Chef's Hat
,
Rainbow Generator

PvP System Revamp
The PvP system has been revamped for 7.0, and even though most of it is not accessible until Legion, some parts of it are visible.

Mark of Honor
In the pre-patch, you can spend
Mark of Honor
on transmog gear from old-world NPCs.
The 5v5 bracket has been removed.
The Arena Master
is now a Feat of Strength.
Gear has been normalized in PvP combat with the
buff. Your character's stats are adjusted to predetermined values based on your specialization. Gear bonuses are also disabled, like set bonuses.
Players in battlegrounds now receive a
Crate of Battlefield Goods
for winning; members of the losing team can also win a crate depending on the team score at the end. This will contain a piece of armor suitable for your level and specialization.
Warlords Season 3 has ended; the start date for Legion Season 1 is unknown.
Much more is coming for level 110 players in Legion like
