At rank 2, this talent will allow you to still have 100% of your mana regeneration after casting a spell, ignoring the 5 seconds rule, and also receive a 100% chance to reset the cooldown of Stormstrike every time you dodge or parry.

Enables you to parry attacks. It will also lower your generated threat by 30%, except when you are using Rockbiter Weapon, then it will increase it by 30% instead.

Windfury Totem has to be made raid wide, or one enh shaman in the raid group is going to be shafted and lose out on free power because they're forced to drop a totem which makes them unable to benefit from another (grace of air).

The one race alliance side for shamans is total BS and the fact blizzard let it through is crazy. Alliance Skyborne should have gotten the shaman. period.

I think the biggest change to enhance shaman is how much INT will be the main stat now over STR.

since currently INT = 1 AP, spell crit, mana and spell power, compared to STR = 2ap. spell crit when talented give nearly 10% melee crit for flurry, which is about 180 agi worth of melee crit

the lowered base spell damage with more spell power scaling implies we should be focusing on INT as melee battle mages.

one issue from this however is only Maces have respectable damage, STR and INT on them (with some spell power) and a higher total AP than pure STR weapons. Which leans heavily into Dwarfs racials, and i hope theres atleast Axe comparables for Orc Racials.

so maybe we are running Flametongue with a WF Totem for raids now

"and Hardiness seems completely unchanged" ? Wut?

I saw in the talent calculator that there's a Lava Lash ability which is for off hand ability and lvl 1 ability too are we getting dual wield for shaman? Instead of swinging a two-hander all throughout Classic Forever. Please let this be true Blizzard Forever Devs and WoWhead Devs because if so Enhancement Shaman will shine and be badass again. If you guys dont believe me go check out the talent calculator on WoWhead Forever and there five new spells at lvl1 Lava Lash and more.

To be honest at beginning Enhancemen Shaman was think as 3rd Tank in Horde part , Pally in Ally / Shaman in Horde
. With all change in Forever i was hoping that would be it but......
What a Waste .

Why are they going so heavy on the 2H weapon thing? That's cool for people that like that, but why can't we also have support for 1H + Shield gameplay or DW? Who does it hurt to have those options in the game? Isn't the whole point of Forever to have varied playstyles?

Post for beginning of october 2026

Lets just look at the spec and the talents broadly:

1) The spec has ONE melee attack skill, Stormstrike. Improved stormstrike gives mana regen, and the refresh on it is pvp or "tanking" focused.

2) Currently there is only one attack power modifier on the talent tree and that is getting AP from INT. There is no other ap modifier be it global or for an attack in the talent tree.AP seems to be focused in WF proc.

3) Currently there is no weapon damage modifier on the talent tree.

4) Currently enh shaman does not benefit from windfury totem as long as they are using WF weapon.

5) Why does frostband weapon exist? The spec is 2h focused will you ever pvp with frostband instead of WF? Considering WF is where the AP for the class is put. Maybe I dont understand, feel encouraged to explain it to me if am completely lost in the sauce on this one.

6) Talks of making totem buffs raid wide.

7) Totem twisting removed, not that we know if it was even mana viable.

8) Skills and talents have weird threat generation but blizz has stated they dont intend to implement viable shaman tanking.

If totem buff become raid wide unless there is some hidden changes in the future or at higher levels there is literally no reason to bring enh shaman to raids, when you can just have the resto shamans provide the totems since there are no talent in the enh tree for improved totems like "Improved weapon totems". Feels like they've pinched from wotlk and tbc but with no care.

I hope I am completely wrong and the spec is viable and fun to play, and not something that is at best brought just so other classes get more dmg. People will min/max it is inevitable.
