Changes to Existing Abilities and Talents in WoW ForeverHack and Slash

Spell

Change

Precision

This is now a 3-point talent offering 3% Hit Chance, whereas the old version was a 5-point talent for 5% Hit.

Endurance

This now reduces the cooldowns of Sprint and Evasion by 30%/60%. Effectively reducing the cooldown on these abilities by double what it used to be.

Hack and Slash

This combines all of our previous weapon specialization talents into one singular talent. This will cause Axes and Swords to have a 5% chance to trigger an extra attack, Daggers and Fists to increase Critical Strike Chance by 5%, and Maces to ignore 15% of the target's armor. This essentially means that as long as you stay up to date on your weapon skills, you will not have to go and respec just because you attained a new weapon of a different type. And yes, we can use Axes now!

Dual Wield Specialization

This has been reduced to 5% increased off-hand damage per talent point, as opposed to the former 10% increase per talent point. This is likely one of the primary talents that saw a reduction to warrant our Poisons now scaling with AP.

Aggression

This talent now also increases the damage that we deal with Backstab.

Weapon Expertise

No longer increases weapon skill. Instead, reduces the chance of your attacks being dodged or parried by 1% per talent point.

As a person who loves the idea of rogues I think the class fantasy is pretty cool but not bringing any benefits to raids or parties other than lockpicking and sap is kinda lame imho. I wish they would give rogues some type of buff to the party that isnt food or something from a profession. It would be cool if we brought some sort of benefit to the whole team, like maybe in increased chance to dodge or like the ability to add a poison buff to ppl. I honestly don't know what could be done but im sure theres something. Sort of how hunters have trueshot aura for ranged dps. Since this isnt vanilla but vanilla plus it would be really cool to see what can be done. Fingers crossed!
