Can only be started at level 90 as of today. I tried to see if I could at 88 but nothing and then I turned 90 and it shows up on my map where to go!

Update: On my second character I was able to access Prey system before level 90. Unsure if things have changed of when you can start it.

Perhaps update your guide with correct information - Prey does not unlock until level 90. I had to go to Icy Veins to find correct information.

Am I doing something wrong? The prey target spawns, I weaken her to 48% and she takes off. Then what? Should she get to 0% and I’m just not strong enough yet? Thanks.

If you are farming the new Prey System contracts in Harandar or the Voidstorm and keep dying because your "Hunted" threat meter maxes out, you do not need to hearthstone or fly all the way back to Silvermoon to reset it!

The tutorial completely glazes over this, but you can instantly wipe your Hunted stacks in the open world by finding Smuggler's Caches. Offering a cache 10 Void-Tinged Resonance (the basic currency you get from regular mobs) will instantly clear your bounty so you can safely loot your Elite kills.

How to find them easily:
The caches blend into the environment and don't show up on the minimap by default. Use this macro to scan for them while you are flying between Prey contracts:

/tar Smuggler's Cache
/script SetRaidTarget("target", 8)

Guaranteed Spawn Location:
If you are in Harandar, there is almost always a cache tucked under the massive roots right next to the Maisara Caverns delve entrance.

It seems I'm not getting the 50 renown for random hunts anymore - am Rank 3, 550/4000 towards Rank 4.

I'm assuming there's a progression cap in place, but nothing in game or elsewhere to explain it.

Noting that normal is giving adventure and hard is giving veteran, not champion...at least as of today. Nightmare hasn't been released yet.

Doesn't work at all for me. I went to the location, I see the blue quest circle, no bar, no indicator, no nothing here. There needs to be a much more comprehesive guide. More Blizzard bull @#$% to slow people down.

Okay, this guide seriously needs to be updated to state that you have to complete the main story line/be level 90 to access Prey. I had to look at the comments to find out why I couldn't get started on this new system. (Which, by the way, is total BS they changed it to unlock at cap/finish storyline.)

The "Hunt Rewards" section isn't quite right. You only get Veteran crests from Hard Prey. Normal Prey gives Adventurer crests. Nightmare Prey gives 10 Champion crests and 5 Hero crests.
Also, if you do the "random" hunts you get 15 Veteran crests from Hard Prey or 15 Champion crests if you do Nightmare Prey.
Additionally, the Anguish Runes listed in this guide no longer exist and you cannot purchase Remnant of Anguish, Voidlight Marl, Coffer Keys, or Dawncrests from Construct V'anore. Everything that's sold by Construct V'anore is now purchased with Remnant of Anguish, which you get while completing the hunts, plus Artisan Moxie if you're buying the profession items.

There is no skip for alts, so if you reach level 4 with the alt you want to try nightmare with, you'll have to redo Astalor's quests. (especially, if like me, you forget which alt did the quests so far! - duh). But there are also a couple of extra quests in the nightmare storyline, indicated with a purple triangle. They are easy. Nightmare difficulty is not! I don't think the "Bloody Command" affix is long enough. If you happen to be anywhere in a zone where there isn't something to kill you'll be dead. Hoping that this will be altered a bit, just a bit more time would help.

I did 2 of my nightmare hunts before picking up the weekly for the 3 nightmare hunts. Is there a way to do more? I do not have enough available to complete the quest.

I think this system needs a lot of work. As a delve primarily player. This takes too long to get to nightmare mode. My biggest complaint is veteran crests in hard mode? Really in hard mode? I hope this was an oversight.
