How is Mag's eye + IotSC BiS in ph2 but Quag's eye + IotSC is BiS in ph1?

What changed to make the Quag proc less valuable than the 1% (with hit cap) chance to resist (thus proc) mag's eye?

If the new trinkets aren't very good for shadow (sans DMC: sade) then wouldn't the new BiS be the same as the old BiS?

Alternatively, if Mag's eye is better than Quag's, then wouldn't that be true in ph1 too?

So for phase 1 and phase 2 the best chest enchant has been stated to be Major Spirit if you have the improved divine spirit buff and Exceptional stats otherwise. IMO the 6mp5 restore mana prime enchant should be added as second preference and the exceptional stats as 3rd preference. It should at least be mentioned though, as it's definitely one to consider.

Major Spirit = Equivalent to 3mp5 (while casting) and also 1.5 SP if you have the improved spirit buff.
Exceptional Stats = 6 intellect (0.9mp5), 6 spirit (1.8mp5) which together is equivalent to 2.7mp5 while casting and 0.075% crit. You also get alittle more initial mana that you can convert to mp5 depending on fight length.
Restore Mana Prime = 6mp5 (while casting).

To me, assuming you don't value stamina at all (which you won't if min-maxing) and the extra initial mana from the intellect (90 mana) will be more than gained back from the extra 3.3mp5 you in any fight over a couple of minutes, such that it's better than the 0.075 crit you also get from the intellect. It seems to me that Restore Mana prime on chest is a marginal second place winner or at least should be mentioned as a third preference.

IIRC it doesn't share the full cooldown with IotSC.
Just the reduced cooldown to keep people from stacking the actives.

At this point I think it would be safe to assume it will be included in brewfest this year until we hear otherwise.

Also missing are a couple rings:
Cobalt Band of Tyrigosa
Seer's Signet

Both of these are better than the ring from turning in mags head when hit capped (which shadow reaches easy).

The more I look at this guide, the more problems I find.
Glider's footwraps are only 3 shadow damage more than Frozen Shadoweave boots after socketing.
Not much of an increase when you consider the other stats on shadoweave.

T5 helm is not better than spellstrike hood. After sockets spellstrike has more damage and meta gems aren't good for shadow.

Similar issue with pants, T5 is not as good as spellstrike.

Pipe added, rings added for transparency (already present in Phase 1, linked above the post). Other points aren't exactly valid, thanks for feedback nonetheless. ~Vaelis

As a side note, spellstrike helm/pants can be replaced with cowl+trousers only when you have both. 4 piece T5 is still BIS but only when you have all 4 pieces (not worth equipping any individual pieces until then if you're losing spellstike set piece).
