Just finished farming rep with Ve'nari. Feels bad.

Comment by waybright

The Currency has a 12k cap and when you are capped you cant turn in more relics.
Everything you can buy before Rank 6 costs 8.4k combined (+green items).
We are going to get 60-65k currency until we reach Rank 6.
What am i supposed to do with all the left over currency? Why is it designed in a way that makes me waste a lot of what i worked for?

Comment by Triet

Does the human buff work for the rep grind?

Comment by glassleo

Very minor error: you have linked Shattered Void Tablet a second time instead of Naaru Shard Fragment which is missing from the list of relics (150 research)

Comment by Nickoladze

Rank 3 and 4 can be done right away as the riftkeys and repair kits can be looted from random chests

Comment by fiercefiona

You need 4 DIFFERENT keys, not 4 Korthia Crystal keys

Comment by phantomeagle

Do we need to Keep the Codex in our inventory, or bank to work. I have plenty of space, but just don't want to mistakenly leave it behind while collecting things.

Thanks in advance.

Comment by Aarchill

There seems to be a daily cap as to how many relics you can loot from Korthia.

I am halfway to tier 4 already, done as much as I can. For example i got all the One time relics from the Rifts, Chests, and the ones found before tier 2.

Got all permanent upgrades you can get before tier 4. Notably the two that gives relics (pet and reliquary sight ones)

Been doing those for a few hours and noticed that the Purple mobs stopped appearing for me and all the patches and relic chests that the pet sniffs out stopped giving relics 100% of the time everytime.

This is quite alarming gating small relic farming like this.

This should be addressed quickly!

Comment by Torsoboy

I'd like to add that the Pouch of Rune Chits doesn't just come from the Pile of Bones, as said in the guide, as I was just able to loot it from an Invasive Mawshroom. Seems likely it can drop from any of the respawning treasures in the zone.

Comment by Dormamo

Here is the macro I made to check which items you have completed. Break it up into multiple macros like below, or use a long macro addon.

Long Macro:

/run local t={="Damaged Talisman: ", ="Singing Steel: ", ="Book of Binding: ", ="Celestial Chart: ", ="Pouch of Chits: ", ="Netherstar: ", ="Gorak Claw: ", ="Guise of Change: ", ="Ring of Reflection: ", ="Death Drum: ", ="Everliving Statue: ", ="Sack of Soil: ", ="Obelisk: ", ="Book of Binding: ", ="Unstable Orb: ",="Enigma Device: ", ="Cipher: ", ="Shadow Sword: ", ="Lang Carving: ", ="Bulwark: "} for k,v in pairs(t) do print(v,C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(k) and "Complete" or "No") end

Split Macros:

Rank 1
/run local t={="Damaged Talisman: ", ="Singing Steel: ", ="Book of Binding: ", ="Celestial Chart: ", ="Pouch of Chits: "} for k,v in pairs(t) do print(v,C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(k) and "Complete" or "No") end

Rank 2
/run local t={="Netherstar: ", ="Gorak Claw: ", ="Guise of Change: ", ="Ring of Reflection: "} for k,v in pairs(t) do print(v,C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(k) and "Complete" or "No") end

Rank 3
/run local t={="Death Drum: ", ="Everliving Statue: ", ="Sack of Soil: ", ="Obelisk: "} for k,v in pairs(t) do print(v,C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(k) and "Complete" or "No") end

Rank 4
/run local t={="Book of Binding: ", ="Unstable Orb: ",="Enigma Device: ", ="Cipher: "} for k,v in pairs(t) do print(v,C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(k) and "Complete" or "No") end

Rank 5
/run local t={="Shadow Sword: ", ="Lang Carving: ", ="Bulwark: "} for k,v in pairs(t) do print(v,C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(k) and "Complete" or "No") end

Edit: Cleaned up the formatting so it looks better when the macro is ran.

Comment by SaltyRisto

Anyone know if it's possible to skip the quest line on alts?

Comment by ioni86

i have some problems with relics rep. the messenge is " You have too many of that item already (Relics)"
anyone have same problem ?, i cant upgrade rank 4 for this bug.

Comment by anonymousIceBear

Regarding the treasure/chests limit and daily cap, it seems that the limit is 15 treasure/chests looted per day REGARDLESS OF THE TREASURE TYPE. Granted this is only after 2 days of grinding so it may be incorrect/inaccurate.

Those 15 treasures/chests combined with killing around 10 rares in Korthia gives you around 1300 Research -> 650 Reputation, depending on how lucky you are. I also noticed that the Epic (300, 150, and 100) Relic Piece becomes increasingly rare the closer you are to accumulating 1300 Research that day.

Here's my note:
Day 1
Nest of Unusual Material X 3
Relic Chest X 3
Mawsworn Cache X 3
Invasive Mawshroom X 4
Shardhide Stash X 1
Pile of Bones X 1

Relic stopped dropping at the 2nd Pile of Bones

Day 2
Nest of Unusual Materials X 4
Invasive Mawshroom X 3
Mawsworn Cache X 2
Relic Cache X 3
Nest of Unusual Materials X 1
Shardhide Stash X 1
Pile of Bones X 1

Relic stopped dropping at 4th Relic Cache

Comment by Morwo

when i do all activities, dailies, rares, chests as well in rift and outside in both zones korthia and maw, i'm able to collect around 810 relics in about 3h time spent.
wishing my whole account gain benefit progressing from one char doing so. but only very few things do actually. would be fine if the account has acces to 1 rank lower reputation then best char achieved.

Comment by 6by6n6

Why lock 226 gear behind rank 6? Should've been available at rank 4 or 5.

Hopefully it's account wide.

Comment by metanima

i just reach tier 6 and the quest to get parragon chest is not there

Does anyone know what the respawn timer for the Relic Gorger/Relic Gatherer rares are?

Comment by Wolfenstein3000

This is just tedious. 10,000 points to go I am looking at 10 days in a row, probably 20, of the same daily questing, the same old boring stuff. And then what? Wow, I get some next tier gear. I have better things to do.

Comment by RazorsAlt

I think it would be awesome if you could share research with all your alts.

Comment by BleuAce

I do have an issue with the keys in particular- I have used them all to retrieve certain relics, and now it says I need them to open some other chests as of rank 5. What the heck do I do then? They keys don't exist anymore!

Comment by crjohn0

FYI, the Recipe: Crafter's Mark of the Chained Isle, does not disappear from Roh-Suir's inventory even if you buy and learn it. You are still able to rebuy it and it will just tell you that you already know the spell. If you make the mistake like I did, you only have a limited time to sell it back.
