Ability

Description

Holy Ground is a permanent area-of-effect spell that deals Holy damage around the boss and silences players inside it for 1 second.

Holy Fire

Holy Fire deals Fire damage to the target and places a magic debuff that deals additional Fire damage over time. This debuff can be dispelled.

Holy Wrath

Randomly targets a player and bounces to additional nearby players. Does not chain to pets or totems.

Repentance

Deals significant damage and stuns the entire raid. The debuff is broken by damage taken or immunity spells, such as a Mage Ice Block or a Paladin Divine Shield.

Berserk

After 10 minutes, Maiden of Virtue will Berserk, gaining a significant damage boost that will likely wipe a raid. This ability likely exists to prevent solo kills on Maiden of Virtue, as most fights won't last more than a few minutes.

Players can move into Holy Ground right before Repentance goes out, taking damage from the Holy Ground (breaking Repentance) and then moving out of it.

Healers can spam healing-over-time abilities on the Main Tank before Repentance goes out, providing healing while the Healers are stunned.

The Main Tank can use defensive cooldowns during the Repentance to survive through the stun duration.

Paladin can use Blessing of Sacrifice on a Melee player standing inside the Holy Ground to constantly take damage and break the Repentance. Paladins also have Divine Shield if the Blessing of Sacrifice falls off.

Save defensive cooldowns for when a Repentance goes out and Healers don't have any ways to get out of it.

In a pinch, the Main Tank can move Maiden of Virtue on top of a Healer to break them out of Repentance, before moving Maiden of Virtue back to the center of the room.

Tips for Melee on Maiden of Virtue

Stay spread out during the encounter, so Holy Wrath doesn't chain between melee players.

While standing in the Holy Ground effect, Melee will automatically have the Repentance debuff removed, so do as much damage as possible, but be careful not to rip aggro on the boss.

Tips for Ranged on Maiden of Virtue

Stay spread out in the room to avoid chaining Holy Wrath to nearby allies. Through clever use of spells and abilities, it is possible to break free of Repentance most of the time. Everyone can use items like Dark Rune and Super Sapper Charges to remove the Repentance debuff, as well as items like Skull of Impending Doom.

Hunters should use Feign Death to stop the Holy Fire cast, avoiding significant damage.

Tips for Healers on Maiden of Virtue

Priests should look to dispel the Holy Fire debuff from allies throughout the encounter, mitigating a significant portion of damage.

Shamans can drop Grounding Totem to eat Holy Fire casts.

Priests can use Shadow Word: Death to break themselves free from a Repentance cast.
