After taking 5% damage, Midnight will call Attumen the Huntsman to join the encounter.

Mount

If Midnight or Attumen the Huntsman is reduced to 25% Health, Attumen will mount up on Midnight and gain a new ability.

Shadow Cleave

Frontal Area of Effect attack that deals Shadow Damage, ignoring all armor values. Has a 6-second cooldown.

Intangible Presence

Area of Effect Curse that applies a Hit reduction of 50%. Must be decursed as quickly as possible by a Mage or Druid.

Mount

If Midnight or Attumen the Huntsman is reduced to 25% Health, Attumen will mount up on Midnight and gain a new ability, Berserker Charge which hits a random target between 8 and 40 yards away, dealing a small amount of damage and stunning the target.

Face Attumen (and Mounted Attumen) away from the raid to avoid dealing Shadow Cleave damage to raiders.

Build Rage on Midnight during Phase 1, so you can quickly generate threat on Attumen when he spawns.

When Attumen and Mounted Attumen Spawn, they have no threat, so gain as much as you can quickly.

Tips for Melee on Attumen the Huntsman

Let the tank get sufficient threat on Attumen and Mounted Attumen before engaging the boss.

Don't stand in front of the boss, so you can avoid being hit by Shadow Cleave.

Tips for Ranged on Attumen the Huntsman

Let the tank get sufficient threat on Attumen and Mounted Attumen before engaging the boss. Hunters can use Misdirection to help the Tank out when the boss spawns.
