Placement: Players can use a grid system and slight rotations to easily determine where specific objects will be placed.

Snapping: Enable a grid and allow objects to "snap" to the points of the grid, allowing for neat placement. Decor will also align to floors, walls, or ceilings (e.g., a rug will align to the floor) to allow for realistic placement.

Collision: Players can move decor through other objects, such as the floor, walls, or decorations.

Parenting: Objects placed on top of or inside larger decorations (e.g., books inside a bookshelf) will become "parented," allowing the larger object to move everything as one unit instead of requiring piecemeal placement after an adjustment.

Advanced Customization Mode

Clipping: Advanced Customization removes collision detection, allowing players to clip objects into each other and walls, ceilings, and floors.

Float: Players can move objects along all three axes, allowing items to float if desired instead of aligning to flat planes such as the floor.

Rotation: Instead of limited rotation, players will be able to freely rotate objects along any axis.

Resizing: Objects can be resized to both smaller or larger versions to allow for creative design choices, such as using bushes as garlands.

Partion ObjectsInterior Customization Options in World of Warcraft

Multiple Floors: Players can add multiple floors to their house. The exterior of player housing options has no bearing on the interior size, allowing for "bigger on the inside" builds.

Room Shapes and Sizes: Players can customize their room with an impressive range of shapes and sizes, including Octagon Rooms, Square Rooms, L-Shaped Rooms, Cross-Shaped Rooms, and more. Sizes range from Tiny to Large, allowing players to create spaces as small as closets and as large as arenas.

Floor, Wall, and Ceiling Customizations: Walls, floors, and ceilings can be customized in a variety of styles, including Folk, Rugged, Bel'ameth, and Silvermoon.

Greenery and Vegetation: Players can place and resize bushes and trees to create vine-and-garland-like decorations.

Furniture of all kinds: The decor catalogue lists a huge variety of items, including but not limited to tables, chairs, beds, benches, couches, bookshelves with customizable books, chandeliers, paintings, fireplaces, boxes, barrels, kegs, miscellaneous food objects, folding screens, windows, Winter Veil trees, and more. Some of these items feature unique animations, such as floating books and roaring fires.
As there are already hundreds of options for furniture and other decor, there are several filters that can be used to find specific items. Players can filter decor by size, culture, expansion, style, theme, and holiday, with checkboxes for dyeable, indoor, and outdoor items. I have never ever been this excited!

Someone wake me up when the expansion hits, because I'm gonna do an early hibernation!

Color wheel! I don't need a dyeing system that's limited to what colors the devs think I want! Seriously Color wheel please! Like why doesn't wow have a color wheel for hair/skin/eye/nails color options! Being able to personalize the colors of everything mattered to me ;D Wows cartoon style loves those crazy BC colors! I just want my clown house and the only think keeping me from it is a lack of color wheel! I feel crazy for still asking for one in 2025! Go search "Character creation color wheel video game important" and get back to me!

I have been playing around with housing in Beta now and it's just awesome. Great job! You can buy a bunch of decor with gold in the housing district which is neat. Now I'm gonna switch my mains profession to alchemy in Midnight so I came make a bunch of dyes hahahaha XD

How do I move the interior door or change my first room? I don't want to demolish everything just to add an large first room.

This page should be updated. How do we move our rooms? What rooms have restrictions and what are they? I feel like there's a lot more information that you can give here.

Hello,

Could we possibly have a chart showing what all the dye colours look like here, rather than have to buy or farm and test if we like them?

Thank you

Kind Regards

Janine

Can I drop a bigger version of a room in my house over my smaller existing room? Example - I have a tiny room that is all decorated - so can I drop in a medium room instead? I am finding I am running out of decorating space and don't want to add a new room just upgrade to a bigger one. Thank you!
