The Tomb of Sargaras
General Tips:
Lots of downtime on this boss, make sure to follow your ABC's and Always Be Casting to gain some damage on the boss during downtime as mana allows.
Mythic Tips:
In a pinch, you can solo soak a meteor with all your defensives. Sit in Ghost Wolf and pop Astral Shift. The meteor will hit for approximately 3.8-4.4M. Made even more trivial if you have a chance to drop Healing Stream beforehand, but not required.
General Tips:
Sephuz can be a reliable legendary on this encounter with the dispels and interrupts required - though other Legendaries provide a greater bonus.
If casting DPS spells, be sure to avoid casting into Atrigan during Bone Saw or Belac during Fel Squall to not gain extra Torment.
Help to contribute damage on the Tormented Soul in the Cage if you go in and no one needs healing. The more orbs spawned the better.
Wait to dispel debuffs from targets until they are clear of fellow raid members as to not cause splash damage.
Mythic Tips:
Earthbind Totem is useful in the path of any adds as they can be slowed but not stunned.
Gust of Wind can be useful here to immediately remove yourself from Suffocating Dark or to reposition a Calcified Quills cast.
General Tips:
Interrupting casts on Murlocs is important to reduce overall damage.
Cloudburst Totem is very effective here with the frequent and reliable damage from Unchecked Rage.
Mythic Tips:
Frequent movement to and from egg piles makes Graceful Spirit a strong talent choice here.
Ancestral Protection Totem can gain significant value the longer the encounter goes. If you find you need additional defensives on later Draw In this is a strong choice.
General Tips:
All debuffs on this encounter matter. Keep a sharp eye of who has what and be sure to heal appropriately. Do not ignore Rapid Shot, Lunar Beacon or Glaive targets.
Spirit Link Totem is incredibly powerful to maintain a raid stack during Glaive Storm as it rebalances everyones health fast enough for people getting hit.
Mythic Tips:
Rapid Shot is PAINFUL and ramps up quickly, be sure to heal through this aggressively.
Healing Rain is your best friend on this encounter, especially combined with 4p20. Do not wait for a Tier Proc to cast Rain, however. Its potent on this without it.
Earthen Shield Totem can provide a large amount of damage mitigation for very little mana investment. If you do not need Ancestral Protection Totem, this is a great tool for Astral Purge damage as groups of raiders transition from side to side.
With the increased damage, Prydaz is an incredible effective health increase on this encounter.
General Tips:
Lightning Surge Totem can stun all adds on this encounter.
Interrupting is valuable to reduce damage from Murloc adds and reduce movement of Stalkers as they blink on cast.
Cloudburst Totem is extremely valuable as damage can be reliable on Hydra Shot casts.
Mythic Tips:
Farseers Ring can be of great use on Mythic with the increased movement and desire to maintain Cloudburst.
General Tips:
Shamans are better suited to healing the Spirit Realm because of smaller movement, aoe sustain healing during Wailing Souls and ability to snap heal people coming from Corporeal Realm with Spears.
Gust of Wind is a great choice here to get Soulbinds together quickly.
Be sure to stand a minimum of 6 yards apart from allies to prevent bounces of Grasping Darkness.
Mythic Tips:
Healing Rain, Gift of the Queen and Earthen Shield Totem are wonderful on this encounter in the Spirit Realm.
Using major Cooldowns on the first Wailing Souls ensures they are up for the third.
Ascendance is a great choice here since half the raid is split from you and not taking healing, this increases the healing on those in your realm compared to an average encounter.
General Tips:
Ensure youre tracking your infusion correctly as to not cause additional Unstable Souls.
People with Unstable Soul will take heavy damage over time, ensure they do not die. If they do, they trigger a detonation and likely wipe the raid.
Mythic Tips:
If you are assigned to soak orbs be sure to use Spiritwalkers Grace to continue healing while moving.
Most screw ups on this encounter are immediate raid wipes, Earthen Shield Totem can be used here for a minor damage mitigation over Ancestral Protection if desired but APT is a very valuable raid cooldown as it can reach both sides of the boss for the effective health increase.
Unstable Soul is incredibly dangerous on Mythic, be sure to track it on your frames.
Common strategy is to Lust/Hero during the second shield phase, if this is you - your cooldowns may be better suited during it because of Sense of Urgency. If you are using cooldowns on the second shield, pop them no later than 20-25 seconds into the encounter for the first time.
General Tips:
Spot healing and babysitting melee/tanks is your strong suit here, with the size of the room Chain Heal is unlikely to obtain maximum efficiency on ranged.
Be sure to help soak Touch of Soakgeras.
Cloudburst is highly effective for healing the routine damage.
Mythic Tips:
DPS is important here to meet the checks in the last phase. Every time you can manage you should be dpsing the boss or the Maiden shields.
You can use Ghost Wolf to run through Lingering Darkness puddles with Unbound Chaos because Ghost Wolf prevents you from being dropped below 100% movespeed.
Taking Lingering Darkness damage is less than what eating Unbound Chaos is, so this is highly advised.
Ancestral Protection Totem can cover a very large amount of the platform in later stages of P2.
General Tips:
Roots of Shaladrassil are incredibly potent on this encounter for soaking Armageddons.
Spirit Link Totem is one of the best tools for handling the initial Darkness of A Thousand Souls cast in the last phase with no Rift.
If your raid is in danger in the Darkness Phase this is a good opportunity to use Healing Tide Totem after finding Illidan.
Mythic Tips:
Gust of Wind can be a lifesaver on this encounter.
Antorus, The Burning Throne
General Tips:
Before Mythic difficulty, there are periods of downtime to ensure you can get damage in.
Cloudburst Totem lines up very well with mechanics here.
Mythic Tips:
As with sub-Mythic difficulties, Cloudburst Totem does work here. Be sure to check out some logs or update your boss mod for correct timings.
Damage ramps up near the end of the encounter, use cooldowns early so you have them available near the end.
Earthen Shield Totem is good mitigation of damage for a single global, because of the frequent ticking damage on random members. Keep the raid clustered before soaks.
General Tips:
Keeping in range of both tanks can be helpful here, depending on your strategy. Ensure you're keeping Riptide on both and casting in to them as tank damage can be high.
Spiritwalkers Grace is very helpful during ability combos that are particularly dangerous.
Cloudburst Totem can make short work of raid damage when puppers get to 100 energy. Make sure you have a boss frame or weakaura to track their energy.
Mythic Tips:
Difficult combos in the encounter come when both puppers reach 100 energy. Ensure you have Spiritwalkers available for them.
Ascendance can be useful here to pack a punch of healing during those tough moments, when combo'd with Cloudburst and Spiritwalkers to chain cast.
Prydaz is particularly useful here, as sometimes the random targetting of abilities can leave you without defensive options.
Spirit Link Totem does well for combinations of Shadow/Fire abilities when needing to move. Be smart when you drop it and place it slightly ahead of you to get its maximum value as you move through it.
General Tips:
Ensure you have Vehicle frames enabled in your raid frames to see whomever is piloting the boss Pods.
Cloudburst Totem can be charged up for every Fusilade, as it has a longer than 30 second cooldown between casts.
Frequent AoE damage from mines and a stacked raid plays well for Healing Rain and Earthen Shield Totem. Cast these essentially on cooldown on the raid stack.
Mythic Tips:
All level 75 talents can see use here. Vigor for debuffed people and Pod pilots. Earthen Shield for frequent damage. Ancestral Protection for the large AoE damage that can happen with Fusilade and adds active.
As with Heroic and Normal, keep Healing Rain active as often as possible (especially after gaining T21 set bonuses)
Players inside the Pod can receive AoE healing from Chain Heal, Healing Rain, Cloudburst explosions and raid cooldowns. Be sure youre near enough to them that they can benefit from these.
Interrupt Pyroblast casts from the adds when active.
General Tips:
Lightning Surge Totem and Wind Shear to control adds downstairs can be very important.
Mythic Tips:
Spiritwalkers Grace is very useful for running portal debuffs with your portal group.
You can leave the Delusion debuff on yourself from the Shadow portal to regenerate a little mana, but don't leave it too long as you might forget youre doing no healing! Don't want those pesky Warriors and Enhance shamans dying on you.
General Tips:
Stay with your group. But really who cares, this boss is a big trash heap.
Mythic Tips:
Crowd control is helpful here. Lightning Surge Totem and Earthbind Totem are great control tools for the waves of adds, as long as they're not made immune by Purifiers.
Wind Shear makes you an excellent healer to be sent to The Paraxis with a group of longer cooldown interupt capable DPS, since the Inquisitor there has several dangerous spells.
General Tips:
Spread out, dispels will chain a sleep to folks who are too close.
Assign a healer to the melee dispels, a healer to the ranged dispels and a healer to backup if a healer gets the Sleep.
Mythic Tips:
Prydaz, as usual, takes the cake on personal survival for this encounter. There is lots of damage and often paced with enough time that Prydaz can recharge. Velens will be a useful tool if your strategy is to deal with the burst damage on transitions 2 and 4.
Graceful Spirit for your 30 talent is almost a must. It will basically allow you to have SWG up for every transition, which is very helpful in healing folks while crossing the bridge.
Spirit Link/Ascendance/Ancestral Guidance is a killer combo if your strategy is to go with burst healing on transitions 2 and 4, combined with Velens and another raid DR.
General Tips:
Always always ALWAYS watch where the Bombs are travelling and make sure youre in a safe lane.
Mythic Tips:
To ease healing, try and ensure the raid is in a location that is stacked. This also helps everyone avoid Bombs all at once.
Prydaz provides immense survivability here as the targetting of some abilities is random and can coincide with others.
In the first few seconds of Robot Phase they take increased damage, Flame Shock and Lava Burst your heart out as long as everyone is stable. Its a great way to contribute meaningful damage.
General Tips:
I personally prefer Graceful Spirit for this encounter, but if you do not have several Druids/DPS Shamans who can Roar/Wind Rush for you during Frost phase, you could take Wind Rush to help the raid.
Earthen Shield Totem is always going to see 100% effectiveness here, due to the ticking damage that is active the entire time (though Ancestral Protection can help to combat people getting too low after their debuffs are out)
Mythic Tips:
Chain Heal is actually bugged on this encounter and will stop healing if it encounters a Misery target, so Ascendance is the top choice. On top of that, its also an incredibly efficient way to heal the small ticking damage.
Prydaz is helpful here as the healing reduction from Misery is not applied to shields.
Fire in the Meme, our legendary RNG chest, can see immense value here as Healing Rain should be cast on cooldown. Allowing at least a full cycle of its 3 procs to be active during the encounter (minimizing RNG)
General Tips:
Dodge. Blades. All blades. Every type of blade. If it looks sharp and is coming to you, get out of the way. That stuff hurts and can put you into positions you do not want to be in.
Prydaz can prevent a one-shot on you by increasing your maximum effective health. Wear it.
Earthgrab Totem gets a special mention. Spectral Army can be held at bay with it for an extended duration.
Mythic Tips:
Ancestral Protection Totem is almost a default here, as there are several danger periods and outside of the Fire adds you are almost free to be near the middle of the room. The totem encompasses the entire center.
Alternatively, Ancestral Vigor is very good at keeping people alive when they get debuffs you just cant quite top them off for.
There is a lot of single target healing here, and Cloudburst is still a very effective way to turn that single target healing into aoe when it bursts. Because spot healing is relevant here, Soul of the Farseer sees increased value.
Track those debuffs. All of them. They are all important. Make sure you clear Chilled Blood fast, if your raid member is stunned out in a storm they can be killed easily.
General Tips:
As long as most of your raid soaks Flames during the Techniques, you can save cooldowns for when the raid is split in the transition phases.
Earthgrab Totem can root adds if you want to delay them and their CC is broken.
Mythic Tips:
Make sure you're directly healing the people who get hit by Wake of Flame or whom have the Flare debuff, especially during the debuff from adds hitting.
Ancestral Protection Totem is a great defensive tool for the raid and can recover a death by Wakes in the later phases of the fight when they are frequent.
General Tips:
You can contribute dps to the adds through the intermission phase due to the minimal healing required to the raid if your tanks are stable.
Be sure to take advantage of the Vulnerabilities when choosing your add target for damage. Fire vulnerability should be a priority, then Nature.
Moving with Soul Bomb should be done in Ghost Wolf form if your other healers can heal you, as the Damage Reduction from Ghost in the Mist is important.
Ghost Wolf can be cast while dead, take advantage of that movement speed increase.
Mythic Tips:
Be sure to stay on top of healing all Soul Bomb targets. If they have stacks of Rage, a Soul Bomb will mean quick death (which results in a raid wipe if theyre too close to the raid)
Cloudburst Totem lines up well with Tortured Rage casts, watch your boss timers.
Ancestral Protection Totem is recommended here as the Gift of the Lifebinder has very limited use available on Mythic. A well placed APT can save your raid a Battle Rez.

Affixes
Crashing Waves and Ancestral Guidance are both viable options.
Its important, during Bolstering weeks, to dps down trash at a relatively even pace. You can contribute to this by using Chain Lightning to keep damage even or by doing your burst dps (Shock, Burst, Burst) onto mobs that are particularly high HP.
If you end up with a super bolstered mob, sometimes it can be more beneficial to wipe and reset the one mob than it would be to sit and waste 2 minutes burning it down. If you need to, Earthbind is great for slowing mobs while your tank kites them as they get out of control.
Several mobs, once enraged sub 30% HP, become lethal in M+. Ensure that any mob with a large AoE or Tankbuster style hit is burned down quickly when it reaches Raging levels of health. On packs with any level of difficulty, its important to not enrage multiple mobs at once.
Don't forget about Wind Shear, Hex and Lightning Surge Totem to CC and Interrupt mobs that may be enraged.
Make sure you don't AoE stun mob packs inside of a Sanguine pool. High DPS is needed to burn through multiple Sanguine pools healing a mob.
Don't forget you can use Wind Shear to interrupt mobs standing in pools.
If mobs have charge or fixate abilities, try to make sure you don't kite them through Sanguine pools.
This is much worse on some dungeons than others and relatively easy to handle depending on the Affix its paired with.
If there are extra healer mobs inside a trash pack, remember you are the only healer with an Interrupt - make use of it!
Use Lightning Surge Totem to chain AoE CC with group members, making quick work of large packs of mobs like at the top of the stairs before the dining hall in Halls of Valor.
Shamans handle Bursting quite well with large effective AoE healing with only a little bit of set up ahead of time. Ensure you have your party members grouped during this to maximize your healing, since a large portion of it is range/location limited. Earthen Shield Totem, Healing Rain, Gift of the Queen and Cloudburst Totem are all excellent tools for grouped healing without relying on Chain Heal (which is noticeably weaker since M+ tends to lean towards Ascendance over High Tide)
Spirit Link Totem is an all-star here in the event your tank cannot reset stacks, as it transfers health through Necrotic.
