During Phase 1, stay away from the Roots of Amirdrassil to avoid having Raging Flames near them.

Position as close to the edge of the platform as possible, then move in as more fire spawns.

Spirits will spawn in groups on alternating sides.

Bloom

After picking up seeds, avoid abilities and drop Swirling Firestorm at the edge of the platform.

Firestorm

Always stay away from the Roots of Amirdrassil due to the Firestorm ability.
Meteors will be called down on players which everyone must dodge.

Dream Rend

A portal will open which will deal damage to players based on distance. Stay further from the portal to take less damage.
Being drawn into the portal will incinerate players.

Corrupt

Fyrakk will gain a massive shield which must be broken within 30 seconds.
Avoid standing in front of the boss due to the Shadowflame Breath ability.

Greater Firestorm

Avoid being hit by meteors, just like Phase 1.
Kill the Burning Colossus adds which spawn from each meteor before they reach 100 energy.
At 100 energy, these adds will explode, dealing damage and applying a dot to the raid.

Flamefall

Fyrakk will pick a location to plummet into from the sky.
Stay away from the landing area, as it will deal more damage the closer to it players are.

Shadowflame Devastation

Fyrakk will sweep across the platform, dealing damage and spawning adds.
Avoid being hit by the breath as the boss sweeps across.
Kill all Screaming souls quickly, and keep them away from friendly spirits.

Seed of Amirdrassil

Players can pick up a Seed of Amirdrassil, which when it’s ready can be used to cast Bloom.
Bloom will create a safe zone which absorbs a large amount of damage within 9 yards.
Cast Bloom before Fyrakk casts Apocalypse Roar.
Taking any shadowflame damage while carrying the seed will turn it into a Blazing Seed, which pulses damage on the entire raid.

Eternal Firestorm

Meteors will be called down on several players which fragment.
Each meteor will spawn a Swirling Firestorm, which players should avoid.

Apocalypse Roar

Fyrakk will cast a roar which deals a massive amount of damage, pushes players away, and applies a dot.
Bloom should be used to survive this cast.

Shadowflame Breath

Avoid being hit by this frontal ability.

Blaze

During all phases, random players will gain the Blaze debuff.
Players with this debuff should run away from others before the debuff expires.
upon expiration, this debuff will unleash waves of flame that explode outwards.

Tanks

Healers

During Dream Rend, the entire raid will take a large amount of damage and be drawn towards the portal, so healing will be more difficult.
Burning Presence, which is present in Phase 1 and 2, will periodically apply the Aflame debuff to players. This is a stacking dot which should be dispelled by a healer rotation.
During all phases, Fyrakk will pulse aoe damage every 2 seconds.
During the Intermission, the raid will take a lot of damage before the shield is broken.
In Phase 2, always quickly heal Spirits of the Kaldorei to full.

DPS

DPS should have cooldowns for the Intermission to ensure Fyrakk’s shield is broken as quickly as possible to avoid taking excessive damage.
Screaming Souls should be killed as quickly as possible when they spawn.

Since the guide is very poor regarding HC mode, here are some useful information:

1) P1 more or less is the same, just blaze needs to be spread a bit to reduce dmg.
2)Intermission more or less is the same
3) P2 is alot harder with blaze, as you need to position it properly in order not to hit the mobs that need healing. If blaze hits them, they are converted. This is the most dangerous change in hc as this has high wipe potential.

It helped greatly to divide the raid in two groups. When the infernals appear they are both stuck together until the screaming souls spawn. At this point each infernal is taken to the far right and the other to the far left and are moved along the souls, to cleave dmg them aa you kill the infernals. We meet in the middle with what remains of them and the boss.

4) P4 is all about managing the seeds. Once again, blaze makes it alot harder as it targets the seed carriers, as well as the tornadoes. Tornadoes aren't as frequently targeting the seeders as blaze, so managing blaze is very important. The people carrying the seeds should drop them down, move their blaze away from them and then pick them up again. Similarly, if the tornado is spawned on a seeder, drop the seed, go away drop the tornado and come pick the seed again.

What we did and was very helpful for the seed carriers was to have the seed raiders on the left side of the arena, the rest of the raid on the right, a healer in the middle to reach both sides, and during the roar, we were gathering in the middle to use the seed.

Some guides suggest having 2 people per seed to pass around as they need to dodge abilities, but in a pug, there will rarely be people that want to do the seed mechanics and in my opinion it's unnecessary too. Since the seeders are separated from others, they simply pay attention not to move their own blazes on the dropped seeds.

More or less that's how it's done. It's an extremely enjoyable fight, especially when you carry the last seed to be used and nail it. Good luck on your curve!

For LFR peeps

Players targeted with Wildfire will NOT drop more Raging Flames Therefore just space out and away but don't hit the roots

During the final phase. You can't pickup any of the Seed of Amirdrassil They just exist in a half circle behind Fyrakk. They always spawn in the same places and every Seed of Amirdrassil will bloom before his Apocalypse Roar attack. A few seconds after the roar, the Seed of Amirdrassil will respawn in the exact same place.

Note that the tooltip for the seeds is incorrect, as it is not just direct damage to the sees that will cause them to ignite.
Tanks who have taken an Infernal Maw hit cannot pick up seeds as they have a shadowflame dot ticking on them.
This dot will also ignite a seed if picked up.
As such, do NOT pick up a seed if you are a tank... in a pinch, it has to be someone else.

Lately it feels like Blaze is targeting players right up to the last second causing some players who carry seeds to forcibly drop their seed and still have to try and stack for Roar. Leaving almost no time to get a seed to the raid. My guild runs 2/4/12. Do we just need more numbers?
