Upgraded Troop Barracks: Construct a larger barracks for your army, increasing the maximum number of troops you can house by 2.

Troop Portal Network: Open a portal for transportation of troops from Orgrimmar, allowing troops to be recruited instantly.

Tier 3 - 1 day research time, 150 War Resources, requires completed Expeditions to 5 different Islands:

Island Plunderer: Learn the pirate secrets of spotting treasure, granting you a chance to receive additional Seafarer's Dubloon on Island Expeditions.

Island Archeologist: Learn the secrets of ancient civilizations, increasing the duration of effects from shrines by 20%.

Tier 4 - 1 day research time, 200 War Resources, requires 5 Champions:

World Azerite Detector: Construct an Azerite detector on your ship, granting you a chance to find additional Azerite when completing World Quests.

Local Transportation: Upgrade your Flight Master's Whistle, allowing you to call for a quick flight back to Zuldazar when using your whistle directly next to a flight master on Zandalar or Kul Tiras.

Tier 5 - 1 day research time, 250 War Resources, requires a Warfront victory against 3 different commanders:

Warfront Resourcer: Learn more efficient ways to gather resources under pressure, increasing resource gathering speed by 15% while fighting in a Warfront.

Warfront General: Learn how to best inspire allies in combat, increasing the effectiveness of your recruited troops by 15% while fighting in a Warfront.

Tier 6 - 1 day research time, 500 War Resources, requires Azerothian Diplomat achievement:

Horde Ambassador: Open up additional lines of trade with your new allies, granting additional War Resources from emissary quests.

If you could add the total reputation that is gained for The Honorbound for each War Campaign part (Parts 1-4), it would be really helpful for planning ahead to hit revered and unlock the finale and 5th follower.

If you're level 120 and you're wondering how much priority you should place on the War Campaign - the main benefit is Pathfinder part one. You need to get revered with the Honorbound for Pathfinder, obviously, but you also need to complete the War Campaign to unlock Pathfinder. So If Pathfinder is a high priority for you then definitely work hard on your War Campaign.

My horde war campaign in BFA is completely steady. I do not go a meter further and that is quite annoying. I really do not understand what I'm doing wrong.
I can not find the quest that is needed for a meter. I search the Internet with a rotten hand.
I meet all the requirements, I think to do the confused campaign to start the WQ, but I am completely stuck. Can you indicate what goes wrong? Or that I'm doing something wrong. Thank you for your help. I hope to hear something soon.

I strongly recommend doing each outpost quest as soon as it becomes available, don't wait until you hit 120. They give reasonable xp for not a lot of time invested and actually save you some time later. Benefits are gaining the followers early so you can start getting them xp, whilst also opening up more mission completion opportunities early. By the time you get to 120 you'll have starting flight points in each zone for world quests and your followers should be well on their way to epic.
Just be careful running around doing your outpost quests at lower levels, as only mobs in your immediate quest areas are scaled to your level. Wander too far off the path to grab some herbs or ore and you'll find yourself facing 120 mobs :).

Bias level: Over 9,000. Sylvanas clearly shows her condolence to Talanji. What do you expect out there when Talanji herself asked about siding with the Zandalari? Still nagging and weeping about her death father? Or answer her question if the horde will stand with the Zandalari or not?

Heads-up : Dont start ie .. dont send off your followers for the Day before your Under False Colors or you will have to wait however many hours for your followers to come back from mission to complete the second part required for Under False Colors.

Anyone know how to get past the bug where you can’t advance the 2nd foothold? I’m currently stuck where it doesn’t recognize that I have selected a point from the map and abandoning the quest doesn’t work.

FYI the 8.2 section does not become accessible after completing Down into Nazjatar. After you've completed that you must do the follow-up, Insight into our Enemies and all subsequent follow-ups until you've completed Clearing out the Cache. Only then does the Visions of Danger quest appear. Thought I'd mention this as I've been tearing my hair out trying to figure out why Visions of Danger wasn't showing for me and so far 8.2 has been very flaky when it comes to providing info/guidance. Good guide though and keep up the good work :)

For the first expac ever, I've completely abandoned the war campaign/main content storyline and as of right now, don't care if I ever finish it.

After being tricked - TWICE - through sketchy and biased quest design to betray Sylvanas (on my main undead lock) and then reading through the quest chain description past where I ended (Righting Wrongs) that, even if you took the option to not betray her either time, you still get stuck later with a quest to kill fellow Forsaken and multiple dark rangers just to rescue Blaine....

It's clear where Blizzard wants this to go, and that they do not care what part of their player base thinks. They might as well just have said "All Forsaken characters will be auto-transformed to be Tauren and Forsaken is no longer a playable race" because it's clear we have no real choices here. Sucks to be a Forsaken or anyone who was a fan of Sylvanas as a character before, since they've twisted her so far OOC to be the new big bad it's pathetic.

I'm still secretly hoping she's being controlled somehow and there might be a redemption path for her that would be a more interesting storyline than "new Horde leader becomes final raid battle after turning evil" again since we've done that before (more than once I think).

This is hilarious. At this point, EVERY OTHER LEADER IN THE HORDE is against Sylvanas (except whatshername maghar leader nobody remembers), but you have Thrall, Saurfang, Baine, Lor'themar, Thalyssra, Vol'jin (though a spirit), Mayla, and likely gallywix would just join there side because they outnumber sylvanas.

Yet despite all other horde leaders being against her, you still have people calling any of them traitors. Doesn't it occur to anyone at this point if your the only one stood alone in a room calling everyone else a traitor, that your no longer have a cause for them to be bound to? That YOU ARE the traitor?

You can queue for island expeditions at level 110 already. Azerite for the Horde is not yet available at level 116 with two footholds, but when you hit 120.

This is wrong. I am on Down into Nazjatar on several alts, and have not received any quest called Visions of Danger. I've done the entire war campaign on a main as well. Bad info here from WoWhead.

If you side with Sylvanas, you can report Baine request to Nathanos, even tell him directly that Baine and Zelling were responsible for Derek's escape. You don't even have to wait for the follower mission to be completed (I don't know, if it's a 8.3 quickening chance, tho).

As someone trying really hard to follow the story and can't progress over Step 1: The First Assault (mostly because I can't find the quest) and then ends up at level 50 and put into Najzatar out of thin air... This game is really bad at doing a lot of things that other mmos made us take for granted...

It appears that the 8.2 section of the war campaign is no longer required for the Tauren Heritage Armor. I spent the day getting Exalted with Thunderbluff and working my way through the 8.0 and 8.1 War Campaign content only to find Spiritwalker Isahi outside the Allied Race embassy in Org. I have not done the questline for the 8.2 Content but am able to start the Questline for the Armor.
