Missing the Runic Ward Chest, mine was on third level.

Only one rune works, to light and disappear a different one. Then I'm stuck.

Currently it would seem like we don't all get the same rooms or items at all. I did not get a bubble elevator but I did get a waygate. Several items in my rooms couldn't be repaired because I was missing their companion items. No idea if this is intended or a bug.

I've opened all rooms, all available chests and I still cannot get the Speck of Bronze Dust , A friend of mine was able to do other things like interact with rats, get goggles, use void items among other things.

I legitimately don't know what determines any of this.

so as in today the first day of release 3/22. we know the vault is weekly reset and changes BUT the room changes as well not just location. so people who are trying to get the toy that turns u into a skele or rooms that u cant finish because ur missing a item. its because the other room is missing from the week. this is what i think i dont know if its true because i watched a video of someone with pull down chains.. i didn't have chains

This maybe is too obvious to mention but I was a bit hesitant to leave the vault as no one mentions what happens then.
You loose the buffs but keep the items and when you re-enter the vault is as you left it.

I used a vial of restorative water in the fire room and it put out all of the fire.

If you don't farm 28 keys per week, is it better to hold off on using keys until you have enough to open all the doors or just do partial runs each week?

Restorative Water can also be used to put out the fire in fire rooms.

If you find a Voidstone that doesn't seem to do anything, it does. You may have noticed in your vault a few swirling blue spots in random rooms that are obviously suspicious but not interactive. The buff from the voidstone allows you to see them as chests to interact with and loot them. It is only a 2 minute buff though, so you may need multiple applications to scout all of your rooms.

Also if you are unfortunate enough to have the Runic Ward chest, it appears to be bugged and unsolvable as of 3/22/23.

I opened all the rooms yesterday looting Strange Petrified Orb and Scrap of Black Dragonscales. Combined both for the Particularly Ordinary Egg but there weren't anymore chests to loot. Came back today and a room randomly had a new chest which contained Drop of Blue Dragon Magic so I was able to combine it for Magically Altered Egg. Im wondering if I come back tomorrow or later today if I'll get a new chest with Everburning Ruby Coals or if I actually missed it on my first run through?

I have a bunch of chests hanging from the ceiling and am unable to figure out how to open them. I have been able to cheese it and get on top of them with fel rush but there's no loot inside, so I'm guessing that is unintended and I need to either knock them down or have a buff to get the loot. Anyone know what to do? The objects are Chain-Bound Primordial Cache and Chain-Bound Strongbox.

In one of the rooms, there are a bunch of dinosaur skeletons but no treasure. On the left side of the room is a Recipe Rat. You can interact with him every five minutes to get recipe scraps that will turn into a recipe. BRING CHEESE; the Fine Aged Cheddar from Classic Innkeepers will keep the Recipe Rat in your bag; otherwise, he'll ditch you at the two minute mark.

His secret Ratcipe is Deviously Deviled Eggs which is +75 to Primary Stat (Int, Agi,...)

Just a heads up regarding the Mysterious Voidmark, clicking on this in the Zskera Vaults revealed hidden chests in the same room as the void mark and also caused void guardians to attack me. I checked several other rooms and did find a primordial void cache in a separate room from the one that held the void mark (the room held a curved desk and a chair; there may have been other items in there that I already looted). The buff lasts for two minutes, and void guardians will teleport to you/attack you on other levels and after the buff expires (though new ones don't spawn after the buff goes away).

Multi-character players beware of the Account Bound Keys. I had farmed two keys on my DH. Then while on my Priest I went into the Vault for the first time. Priest had one key plus the 6 you get entering the vault. I used 5 keys on first trip, went back to camp, progressed the Annulet quest and returned to the vault to find the jewel vice and anvil. I climbed to the 2nd floor up the webs and was able to open those two doors. The I figured out how to jump to other doors on 2nd floor with a wind gust action item. I ended up opening more doors without realizing I was using the keys on my DH. I thought the NPC's had given me more keys when I entered the 2nd time. The article above mentions sending keys between your toons. You do not have to mail keys between toons to use them on a different alt. Users beware.

It seem that the randomness of room placement make for some impossible to open every room combo. I have opened every room except four of them on the top floor which are pretty much unreachable. I think the room with the portal to jump is on of the rooms. All I have is the scattered teleport which after many many attempts has not place me in front of the four last doors two which are most likely for the quest primordial answers. There is always next week I guess

If you log while you're in the instance, time still ticks on the vials and buffs. You'll come back still in the instance however your vials may have expired.

Also, there is a room with robots that have Experimental Dragon Packs on the floor. You can scoop up a couple of those to help fly around the instance.

And in the Arcane Room, I found a Living Book on the floor when I went back to it; it wasn't there initially. This is one of the books for the Well-Read achievement.

No one has mentioned them, but there is a room with a large construct guardian, you have to find a runed wrench in another room to fix him to open the chests. Also in that room was a pair of glasses which allowed me to see shapes thru the doors of what was inside. They have been very helpful preparing me whether I'm about to be attacked or not and knowing where things were that I needed to solve puzzles in other rooms.

My two cents is this: Find the teleport room, take the teleportation device, aim it at an unopened vault door somewhere in the middle, launch it, and teleport there. If you hit it right, it should clip you part-way through the door, allowing you to glimpse into the room beyond. If you need, you can aim inside the door and actually get into the room to get a better look, but it teleports you out if you haven't opened it.

After having cleared the vaults myself once through this week, I'd recommend using this strategy to find the potion-brewing room, which has the blue restorative water cauldron and the green cauldron in it. Since the cauldrons are so valuable, it'll help you make use of the rooms you do find.

Lastly, if you have found the robot room that let's you pilot a rocket bot, try jumping down to the main floor. There's quite a few battle bots there whom you can fight to get the redeemable coins. Good luck all!

Having opened all the doors, and read all the comments, it is definitely random what you get! I never got the aquarium room which is disappointing as an avid pet collector, no runic ward chest, no recipe rat and the robot coins only gave me junk. There is a dancing flame brazier in one of the rooms and I wish I knew if there was something you could do to collect it. 🤷‍♀️

/tar Recipe Rat - Then mark him with a skull.
This allowed me to find his room immediately. Then it's just a matter of getting to the right door.
If you can't seem to target him, try moving to a different side of the vaults - he's probably just out of range. He was on the 3rd level for me when I used /tar on the ground floor.
Also worked for Escaped Fish.

Seems like you can do this with anything that can be /tar.

Did anyone else get the projector room? There are 4 projectors in the floor and when activated show a hologram of one of the aspects. There is a 5th projector that is broken. I’m not sure whether I’m supposed to fix the 5th, and if so, how.

This week, in the Zskera Vault: Ur (3/29/2023), I was fishing in the Disgusting Vat and found a Research Chest Key, this unlocked the Locked Research Chest on the first floor.

Kudo's to blkdeath75 who mentioned this on the Research Chest Key page. I wanted to report it here, to gain the attention of others.

Edit: I received Bunbo, Dormant Primordial Fragment x2 and Elemental Overflow x21 from the chest.

Zskera Vault Secret Room:

1. Obtain Neltharion's Toolkit which can spawn in a few different rooms in Zskera Vault,
2. Travel to a cave at The Waking Shores 35.75 47.58,
3. Travel inside until you reach the main room and turn left where you will see Broken Waygate,
4. Right-click to fix it 2 times, click 3rd time to teleport,
5. Kill 2 spiders and claim loot,

Can't do anything in Ur now. I have the Unfinished Stone Golem and Experimental Misstep after me and I can't even open another room. They regain full health no matter what I do, and I can't get to any room that might have a potion to disable them. And now I can't even go back to Az, they show up there as well.

A few items I don't see mentioned yet:
Flask of Elastic Ooze: Gives you a 5 minute buff that let's you jump high enough to reach the second level.
Bubble Lifter: Jump inside this to reach higher levels.
Failed Potion of Plague: Turns you into a slime monster. Your health is increased by 300%, and speed is decreased by 30%. No idea if this has some purpose, though.
Experimental formula did 125K damage to me.

Does anyone know what the device is called that lets you see items through walls and red outlines them? it's not the circlet, but I was able to find it the first week but not since and I can't even look it up since no one is talking about it.

I do hope they add more rewards at some point because the current ones are kind of lackluster if you don't care about collecting pets, combined with the randomness of even having the right rooms show up to get everything and the fact that you seemingly don't really need to do it more than once or twice to get the all stones you need for your ring, it doesn't really have a lot of replay value currently. A couple more mounts and some transmogs would go a long way I think.

I didn't see the Chained Up Primordial Chests. That's not the exactly correct name, and I can't find the page for it again. In Urrrr, I found a room with a bunch of chests hanging from chains. In mine were 5, the single comment on the page said 4. There are chains hanging next to the door in however many rooms, and you click on them to lower the chests. If I find the page I'll come back to link it.

Moving around in the Zskara Vault

Ok so you can use the unfinished scrolls to go to a random spot...... can take forever to get to specific rooms if it lets you get there and often the random spot will be where you just were
it won't take you to the ground floor... so no way down bar a jump which some classes can mitigate but not all and there are cool down to consider
Winward steps is great for moving laterally only if you are on the floor you want to be .... but then you lose uses of the unfinished scrolls
the bubble thing great whilst its working .... get killed it disappears .. leave the vault and return even if on the same day it disappears
the more visits in a week the harder it is to get around
The rocket packs ... I usually rise quickly bang head and either land where I started or hit the deck and usually thats a death and then your travel options get #$%^ed up

SO why is there not some far more simple way of moving around in there... devs have made this unnecessarily difficult
And ave you tried getting 30 keys in a week when you can't get in with a group because you playing time does not coincide with the masses

Someone must have a an easy way of getting to where you want to be in there more efficiently .... I say this because nobody has mentioned it in any forum ive looked in

Ran whole vault on 2 characters within 2 days because they was both missing the "Speck of bronze Dust" anyone know what is going on with that ? Clearing whole vault on 2 characters and still havent found it is it a rare find ? I did though notice they had several different rooms so chance to find it should be ok i think but can anyone tell me if there is a reason to i dont find it ?

Hunters are great for this as Hunters can track and see things. Standing in the middle of the ground floor, I see where guardians are on the minimap, a Disgusting Vat, a Hyper-Compressed Ocean Target, and an Overgrown Skeleton as examples.

This might be a stupid question and I think I already know the answer, just want to make sure. In patch 10.1 and after, is there still a way to complete the quest that unlocked the vault in the first place ? I went to the forbidden reach to do it, but didn't see the quest anywhere.

The guide is missing two other battle pets which, like Brightfeather, can be looted from random chests in the Vault.

Emmah can be fished up from a Disgusting Vat, which is in zskera-vault, in The Forbidden Reach. Its location is random, and will be behind one of the doors, each of which needs a Zskera Vault Key to open.

These keys are now bind on account, and you no longer have to kill rares &c. for them, because they can be purchased from the renown envoys e.g. Cataloger Daela for 50 Dragon Isles Supplies.

If you didn't know, you can buy Keys from the reputation vendors on Moqut Isle. Cheap too. Very easy to buy 28 keys.

If you do the quest, 1 door opens from ballista so you only need 28 keys for all doors.

The Arcane Watcher room can be bypassed without a ward by just jumping on top of the crystal and looting the chest. I had a feeling it would be broken that way and saved myself a trip.

I just found something really strange in one of the rooms in my Vault this week:

an Imprisoned Soul. Exactly the same ones as found in The Maw in Shadowlands.
(I didn't think to grab the NPC ID while it was still around; the aforementioned NPC ID is just provided for reference of its name and visual model -- though it could be the correct ID.)

One of my AddOns (proabably All The Things) even showed a bit of extra information when I hovered over it, mentioning that it's part of an Achievement or Quest in The Maw. The Soul was friendly and interactable, but unfortunately, I was too busy taking screenshots for proof and after a couple minutes, it died, and I wasn't able to interact with it anymore. I was so disappointed that I immediately left the Vaults to try to reset it in the hopes that it would return, but after immediately returning, it didn't come back...

Has anyone else found one of these in their Vaults? If so, did anything happen when you interacted with it?

I'm assuming this is just a strange little bug, but it's interesting enough that I wanted to note it.

Flask of WINDWARD STEPS (in room near spiderwebs, check both webs / rooms) lets you jump from room to room. Button in middle of your screen.
