Completing 5 Timewalking dungeons in A Burning Path Through Time rewards Seal of Inevitable Fate which is the bonus roll currency for Tier 18 and Mythic Dungeon loot.

The gear earned from Timewalking bosses is ilvl 660, which is better than gear from Heroic Dungeons, Highmaul Normal, and Highmaul LFR.

If you did not run this instance back in the day, Timewalking is a great opportunity to learn more about the instance with friends. Players above level 71 can queue together for this Timewalking instance, so this is a fun way to play with friends that are not max level.

Debuff the tank with Sunder Armor stacks

Are particularly dangerous during Frenzy, due to Sunder Armor

Will damage nearby enemies with Thunderclap

Attack the tank with Mortal Strike, reducing incoming healing

Occasionally Knockdown the tank, inflicting a short stun

Hamstring the tank to reduce movement speed

Deal no AoE damage, but heavy tank damage

Rift KeepersFrenzy

Cast Frostbolt on their current target

Cast Polymorph at the closest player who does not have threat

Cast Blast Wave to damage and slow nearby enemies

Cast a very powerful Pyroblast at random targets

Place a Curse of Vulnerability on their current target

Cast Fear at the closest player who does not have threat

Cast Shadow Bolt Volley, dealing damage to all party members

Infinite Assassins are Rogue-type mobs who will either cast Kidney Shot on their target and use Deadly Poison, or will put up Rupture and attack their target with Sinister Strike.

Infinite Chronomancers are Mage-type mobs who will either cast at their target, or will cast Frostbolt at their target and root nearby players with Frost Nova.

Infinite Executioners are Warrior-type mobs who will either Cleave and Hamstring their target, or will and Overpower their target.

Infinite Vanquishers are Warlock-type mobs who will cast Shadow Bolt at their target and debuff random players with Corruption

Infinite Whelps spawn in groups of 3 and deal only melee damage

Arcane Blast is targeted on the tank, inflicting moderate damage and a knockback effect

Time Lapse debuffs all players within 20 yards, slowing movement speed and increasing time between melee attacks

Attraction will pull players close to Chrono Lord Deja

Arcane Discharge will deal moderate damage to the entire party

Save cooldowns for use during Time Lapse, particularly if your Active Mitigation depends upon hitting the boss for resources

When knocked back by Arcane Blast, reposition the boss if necessary

Pick up the small Infinite Dragonflight adds that stream out of the Time Rift

Run away from Chrono Lord Deja after being pulled in by Attraction

Melee DPS should move away from Chrono Lord Deja/switch to the Infinite Dragonflight adds before Time Lapse to avoid being debuffed

Ranged DPS should focus on Chrono Lord Deja, but can multi-DoT or cleave onto the Infinite Dragonflight adds

Run away from Chrono Lord Deja after being pulled in by Attraction

The tank will require heavy healing if an Infinite Assassin spawns from the Time Rift and stuns the tank with Kidney Shot

The party will need moderate AoE healing after each Arcane Discharge

Return to Table of ContentsTemporusTemporus

Mortal Wound will reduce the tank's incoming healing by 10% per stack

Hasten will increase Temporus's attack speed, causing him to deal heavy tank damage

Spell Reflection will reflect all spells cast at Temporus for 6 seconds

Wing Buffet deals moderate damage to players within 15 yards of Temporus, and knocks them back

Mortal WoundMortal Wound

Use cooldowns for Hasten, especially at high stacks of Mortal Wound

Reposition the boss after being knocked back by Wing Buffet

Pick up the small Infinite Dragonflight adds that stream out of the Time Rift

Players with offensive dispels should remove Temporus's Hasten buff

While Temporus is buffed by Spell Reflection, caster DPS should switch to the Infinite Dragonflight adds

Melee DPS should move away before Temporus casts Wing Buffet to avoid taking damage

Ranged DPS should stay more than 15 yards from Temporus to avoid Wing Buffet

The tank will become progressively harder to heal as Mortal Wound stacks increase

Use external CDs on the tank during Hasten, particularly when high Mortal Wound stacks are present

Caster DPS may require extra healing attention during Spell Reflection

Stay more than 15 yards away from Temporus to avoid Wing Buffet

Return to Table of ContentsAeonusAeonus

Aeonus will periodically buff himself with Enrage, which can be dispelled by abilities such as Soothe and Tranquilizing Shot

Sand Breath will deal moderate Arcane damage to the tank

Cleave will deal damage to any players standing near the tank, so players should stay away from the front of the boss

Time Stop will stun all players within 50 yards of Aeonus for 4 seconds

Face Aeonus away from the rest of the party, due to Sand Breath and Cleave

Use cooldowns just before Time Stop to survive melee damage

Be sure to use Active Mitigation during Aeonus's Enrage

Classes that can remove enemy Enrage effects should remove Aeonus's Enrage

Stay away from the front of Aeonus to avoid taking Cleave or Sand Breath damage

Ranged DPS can back away before Time Stop to try to outrange it

Only the tank will take damage during this fight

Be sure to top the tank off, or apply absorption shields or HoT effects, before Time Stop

Alternatively, back away from the boss before Time Stop to try to outrange the 4-second stun
