Dreaming Nae'dra is learned from Scale of the Prismatic Whiskerfish. Obtaining this item requires Fishing in Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope. You can do it on any difficulty, even LFR and can be done also after the raid is cleared. It is a second wing for LFR: Molten Incursion, if you are in a group I advise you first clear it with the group then go back to fish. Just go to Wellspring Artium and start fishing in the large pool until you get 10 Slumbering Moonfish. Then go to the Pit of Volcoross and fish in lava until you get 10 Awakening Sunfish. Go back to the Wellspring Artium and throw all the fish to the big pool, it should spawn a pool where you fish Xena, the Whimsical Whiskerfish from. Toss it back into the water and you get the Scale. It might take some time to get all the fish when your Dragon Isles Fishing is low.

Obtaining Anu'relos, Flame's Guidance mount also teaches you this druid form skin.

Azure Somnowl is a reward from The Answers You've Earned quest.

To unlock Slumbering Somnowl you need to cast Hibernate on 5 Somnowl and click on them to collect Soft Somnowl Feather. Combine 5 Soft Somnowl Feather with Silken Threadto get Somnowl Feather Strand and combine that with 1 Runed Writhebark.

Comment by Mordkay

Great guide, everything in one spot!

Comment by Yrayl

The extra colors for Kul Tiran flight form didn't make it to live. You left the extra data-mined colors out of the guide, but the notation still says that the color changes.Might want to change that to avoid confusion.

Comment by KryzM

Question, if I get an artifact either as KT or Zandalari, can I still be able to use advanced skins? Like Primal Stalker os Stonepaw.

Comment by Cowboydupbap

Hi! I didn't play in legion but wanted the stonepaw artifact form for transmoging bear form. I did the Druid classhall quest and my artifact weapon will change into Stonepaw form but I can't transmog my spear into the stonepaw form. Only the 4 colors for the base artifact form and the hidden 1 that I got from Emerald Nightmare show up on the transmog UI. Can anyone help? Thanks ;)

Comment by NotEgg

In the section for glyphs and toys for stag form there is a typo of "flayable areas" instead of "flyable areas" in the line "This allows you to use Stag Form in flayable areas."

Comment by Wylyth

Wish we were able to choose the color of our moonkin and travel forms via hair/ skin color for all races, instead of just a few. Also, I really think they should have given Darkspear Troll's Moonkin form tusks instead of Antlers.

Comment by alipica

The HM tauren seem to only have less colors to pick from now. I looked for the light gray one cuz I really like the cat form for it, but it's not there. Was it there before and they removed it? or am I missing something?

Comment by ShinyLucario

Does any of this change for Worgen with their remodel in 8.2.5 w/r/t how their hair color maps to fur colors?

Comment by NeronnEvilknight

Really great guide. I hope that with Shadowlands, all forms will get colors variants. I never understand why it was not the case, and even why they retired the variants of the Kul Tiran flight form. It really add to customization and feeling our form are connected to our character. Maybe one day, we'll get a black eagle, and Im eager for that.

Comment by AboDream

hi i wanted to ask if i am a zandalari troll if i use artifact weapons will my guridan druid become a bear or stay turtle ?

Comment by emirudesu

for some reason i cant get my bear form right. it always gives me something else from what i choose. for example im trying to get stonepaw but i get claws or the ursoc and guardian of the glade randomly. i tried to get stonepaw trying to find a pattern but no luck finding one.

What a great guide TYSOMUCH

Comment by chad53773

Hopefully, the non-Allied Races will get some Druid form love at some point relatively soon. The travel forms in particular need to be more diverse: thinking a tiger for Darkspear Trolls, maybe a Dire Wolf or something for Worgen (though that might be a bit on the nose).

Even just a little more diversity being added with some new glyphs would be a reasonable compromise...just take a few models already in the game, and make them unlockable at the barber shop through glyphs. I'm know it's not as simple as cut & paste, but it would be much easier & quicker than creating entirely new skins.

Comment by Nezzey

Thanks for this guide! Has everything been updated with what is/is not obtainable? For instance, the mythic keystone cat form. I assume it's no longer obtainable?

Comment by MoonshineFox

I really hope at some point they revisit the forms for the older races. Kul Tiran and Zandalari made out good with some awesome forms, while all the others just feel like copies of the OG druids and kinda uninspired.

Comment by Nezzey

Is it possible for this to be updated for the Mount Forms? :D

Comment by olaivo

I like the zandalari troll as an idea to play druid, but I don't like the dino skins on the beast forms. Can you change them away to regular druid forms at barber from the start?

Comment by ljxxxxxx

can you still get the 10 RBG win form if you dont have the bass form from legion for the bear i think its the mage tower but unsure

Comment by Serlena

I have the Grizzlemaw base form and the dungeon recolour. Now i try to get the killing Kil'jaeden one. In my achievements i have a Ahead of the Curve: Kil'jaeden. Does that mean i have to wear the weapon for getting the form and not just kill it?

Comment by Anzel

The Bear and Cat forms for Light's Charge/complete 1 storyline are swapped.

Found this out on my Highmountain Tauren (an alt), as the white bear and black cat were inaccessible. Couldn't figure out why I couldn't find the questline for Light's Charge --- then checked the weapons. I was missing finishing the storyline for a zone.

I've also just discovered that for Hidden Artifact Appearances, it only requires one to be discovered for things to be unlocked. I've unlocked the Fangs' hidden, but when I finished the world quests, all 4 of my Artifacts unlocked that color variant at the same time. Not the original, however. Just wanted to share.

Comment by Anzel

I'll be thrilled if they can give us some alternate Doe forms. As I play mostly female characters (I'm a girl), having my Tauren Druid's travel form as a purple doe, when tan models exist in-game, is unfortunate. I honestly wish it wasn't a glyph, and was instead an option; and had similar markings to the male.

I just wanna be a doe; a deer, a female deer~

Comment by Velvetine

New druid forms released with 9.1.5. Would be great if the new forms were added here!

Comment by Aldyrr

We really need some boomkin love. Glyph of stars was great, but now its boring. C'mon blizz, show some boomy love.

Comment by kaltch

You need to complete first chapter of your Druid Class Campaign? what does that even mean sorry i am new :D

Comment by mikhaelangello

Unfortunately this guide is not updated )=

Comment by LunarD3ATH

I'm already super picky about druid classes. Having all of those forms you just can't get really ruins the class even more for me.

I really just can't understand the obsession with locking items just so people can hold them like these weird elitist status symbols. idgaf how or when you got your silly bear form.

Comment by Aistysar

OMG just Thank you bro! This is so Helpfull.

Comment by Draykin

Just wanted to add about speaking to Celestine to receive the Nightwing Raven form. I made a Worgen Druid to go through the starting zone so I could unlock some transmog while going for the form. During the quest "Time to Regroup" I was able to speak to Celestine and she has dialogue as if she was in Stormwind and I was able to unlock the form right then and there. I'm not sure if it's because I already have a 70 Druid, but it's a very quick way to pick the form up if you're Horde side.

Is Mark of the sentinel still available. Can't seem to find it on any AH. I asked in the druid discord but got ignored. I assume because it was a noob question?

Comment by Hellbunn

hello, does anyone know where i can obtain this coloration? (green claws of ursoc variation) cant find it anywhere :(

Comment by Shaabhekh

Just a heads up that as of the time of posting, you only need ONE (1) Tier 3 Runed Writhebark to use with the feathers for the Slumbering Somnowl variant, NOT 3 as mentioned in the guide above.

Comment by Andais

Thank you for this guide! I was looking for something like this and when I couldn't find it I was contemplating to write one. Then I kept looking and searching and today the miracle happened and I've found this guide.

So I was wondering: could it be made somehow to show up on the main Druid page among the guides (Druid)? Because that was the first place I was looking and I think I am not the only one who have had trouble findig this amazing and (for collector-type players) important guide. In the end I have found it by searching "druid forms", went for all results and scrolled and read and clicked every remotely possible guide to check their content...so not the easiest to find.

Comment by Pekins

Thanks for making this, its really well done.

Comment by FLambda

A few of the item links for marks have broken recently. Other than that, great guide!

Any idea on how to obtain the Dreaming Nae'dra aquatic form?

An unpopular opinion, but I'd like to see elemental variations and zombie-wrapped variations.

I just wanted to set aside a moment to say thank you for building this guide for everyone, we appreciate the time you took out of your life to spend it on edifying other peoples' lives in the form of a guide for a game we all love and that you've likely allowed a lot of people to love even more ;).

Im curious in 11.2 current retail which forms can I still get ive collected a decent amount but I want the legion glowing cat/bear forms but dont want to waste time doing legion content if I cant get it anymore. Any help would be much loved.

Comment by Kellophane

The new allied race, Haranir, share the same coloration for their Lunarwing and their Sentinel forms with the Night Elf coloration (this is true for both factions as of writing this).

Comment by MaxafaxFlame

There is another form if you have the highborn masquerade item it lets you be a blue cat which as far as i can tell is unique to this area
