]Delves (Best)		Best Frost Mage Raid Builds While there isn't a huge tuning difference between ]Frostfire and ]Spellslinger right now, ]Spellslinger is doing a bit more damage in most situations and has a slightly more mobile rotation, so I generally recommend it. ]Spellslinger has a lot of synergy with Ice Lance thanks to Force of Will and Polished Focus, so in the Frost tree you'll want to focus on talents that work well with Ice Lance. At the capstone level, this includes Thermal Void, Heart of Ice, and Glaciate. You'll also want many sources of extra Brain Freeze generation, as its already high value is pushed further by Thermal Void. If you choose to play ]Frostfire, the value of Ice Lance decreases. While Thermal Void is still too good to pass up, you are forced to take Comet Storm for Isothermic Core and the ]Frostfire tree itself doesn't do anything for Ice Lance. Instead, you should take Glacial Shatter to get another Freezing consumer so that Ice Lance casts can be reduced. heading=false] heading=false] Best Frost Mage Mythic+ Builds In AoE situations, Frost generally needs to pick up Freezing Rain, Splitting Ice, Fractured Frost, and Splintering Ray. Similar to the single target case, ]Spellslinger still focuses quite a bit on using Ice Lance as a Freezing consumer with Thermal Void, while ]Frostfire tries to stack up Freezing on many targets as possible with Frostfire Empowerment and Glacial Assault to consume them with Comet Storm. heading=false] heading=false] Best Frost Mage Delves Build For now, I recommend playing generally the same build as M+ in Delves. Where's the pvp talents/spec? You have for leveling, dungeons and raids and mythic + and raiding. I myself after checking several sources have my talents spec'd differently cause I'm a pvper and could care less about dungeons and raids. I'm sure there's many many others like me. Thanks. (frost spec)

Your levelling spec recommends Comet Storm in the text, but highlights Splitting Ice on the talent box.

Hmmmmm ... is a build with Cold Front, Necrolord, SI (as legendary), Icy Propulsion (as conduit) and splitting ice (but not Hailstones and the Icy Veins talents) not maybe better for the current M+ dungeons? Or is the Icy Veins uptime too low?

Why is the talent tree labeled as "Icy Propulsion Conduit" the one that doesn't have the Icy Propulsion talent chosen and the one labeled as "Cleave Talent Build" does have the Icy Propulsion talent chosen?

Sorry if I'm missing it but, how do you dump your icicles? The only way i knew to do it was Glacial Spike and I don't see that selected in any of the trees. Is that not a thing anymore?

Ok I *know* I'm being really really stupid, but where is Cone of Cold? I assume it gets turned into something else but I can't find it anywhere. Several abilities buff/change it and I have no idea where to find it! (so very embarrassing *blushes*)

Omg I am absolutely blind. In my defence, normally if I don't have an ability in my hotbar, the spellbook flashes a glowy edge around the spell you are missing. Sorry about that! (very embarrassed still).

Just noticed an error on this article, Subzero is showing in the tooltip as a 20% bonus damage when it's actually half that at 10%.

It seems the copy link is correct but the visual tree is incorrect, with there being one extra talent node selected which isn't possible. Seems to be the bottom left one generally on both sides, and when you click the import it doesn't copy it in because there aren't enough selections remaining. Please fix.

I would love to see a solo leveling build that focused on defensives. Not all of us do Raids and Mythic.

It would be nice if we had the talents for alternate builds, like frostfire for raid/M+. Idk about anyone else but there is no way in hell I'm touching spellslinger lmao

It'd be nice if there were alternate builds listed like there are for a lot more classes, I'd love to know what talents to run if I wanted to run Frostfire for M+ or Raid

please add some Frostfire builds for ALL content too. If possible without the stupid glacial too bec. a lot of people hate that.
So we frostfire lovers would have an alternative playstyle too :)

Hey

I tried to copy the best frost mage mythic + build, but the spellslinger with talent "signature spell" won't work. It turn red evertime I pick it. Can you confirm it? I believe it has to do with not picking the the talent "death's Chill" in frost mage tree. ? Hope you will come back with response to this. Thanks to all help on this topic.

Edit - seems it is just a bug that wow not fixed yet. Seems to be working, at least that is what is being reported elsewhere.
