Gear is one of the most important elements in WoW to strengthen your Feral Druid, providing massive amounts of stats as well as armor, procs, and set bonuses.
In this guide, we will explain how to obtain the best gear for your Feral Druid in and how to check if a piece is BiS, an upgrade or just bad. This guide will help you select the best pieces of gear from Dungeons and Raids in Dragonflight, whether they be weapons, trinkets, or armor.

Recommended Gear for Feral Druid in TWW Pre-Patch
What is the BiS Feral Druid gear?
With many different sources of gearing and loot scarcity in Dragonflight, targeting your absolute Best in Slot gear isn't entirely realistic; instead, we've created a Best in Slot list from the ideal Feral Druid drops found in Dragonflight from Mythic+ Dungeons and Awakened Raids to help you decide what to prioritize.
As a rough guideline follow the stat priority of:
Haste > Mastery >= Critical Strike > Versatility
. Don't neglect the value of
Intellect
, a substantial increase in ilvl is generally worth it compared to optimized stats. It is always recommended that you use
Raidbots
to sim your own character since every character has different circumstances.

Awakened Raids Best in Slot Gear for Feral Druid
While raid items are more deterministically obtainable than Mythic+ ones, there can be usually heavy competition for them. Make sure you are always aiming for item level upgrades as those will be usually worth it even if you're obtaining items with poor itemization. Overall, for raids, Feral Druids will be looking into items with haste and mastery.

Mythic+ Best in Slot Gear for Feral Druid
As usual with Mythic+ items, while there may be a theoretical best in slot selection for each slot in a simulation, it’s unlikely you’ll ever be able to achieve such a perfect character in reality. Feral Druids should focus on seeking items that prioritize Haste for the most part, with Critical Strike and Mastery both providing value as second choices.

Best Feral Druid Trinkets in TWW Pre-Patch
Feral Druids are mainly looking for one powerful on-use trinket to pair with their cooldowns, and a supplementary either proc or flat stat trinket. The stats Feral is most looking for on trinkets are mastery and critical strike.
You can click on the notes icons next to each item for a rundown on the reasoning!

Rankings Explanations
]Explanation Feral's Strongest on use trinket. With the return of the Amirdrassil Tier Set we'll once again be playing around a 2 minute convoke and this trinket matches up Perfectly
]Explanation This is probably the strongest 2nd trinket in general, while it's not a stat trinket it is a direct damage trinket, so you lose very little by offsetting it with your CDs
]Explanation This is the strongest alternate trinket that isn't an on use. It's a lot of stats and highrolling will beat out a Grieftorch
]Explanation A passive alternative to Neltharion's Call to Suffering if you don't want to rely on procs
]Explanation A damage proc trinket, Not a lot to say about it, it does damage. Similar to other trinkets in this list (look below) it ramps up over the fight
]Explanation A damage proc trinket, Not a lot to say about it, it does damage. Similar to other trinkets in this list (look above) it ramps up over the fight
]Explanation Pip's is a bit of a weird combo of a passive and proc trinket. It's fine but worse than other similar options
]Explanation Requires multiple in your raid to be at it's full potential.
]Explanation This trinket undersims a LOT if you're simming it with Ashes. I promise you it's mostly pretty good
]Explanation This trinket does a LOT of AOE damage but it will also KILL you, take that as you will
Best Bullion Gear for Feral Druid
Season 4 introduces a weekly currency in
Antique Bronze Bullion
that can be exchanged for powerful items found in all previous raid tiers and dungeons introduced in Dragonflight. These items can also be fully upgraded to maximum item level, so they are highly valuable as a way to purchase the strongest possible items (including very rare drops!). Bear in mind that trinkets are at a premium here because the dungeon trinket pool is
terrible
, so raid trinkets are really the only way to go.
]
Explanation
First priority of any new season is grabbing a max item level weapon for our main hand, for this season we get to pick between two really, though there is a clear winner.
Djaruun, Pillar of the Elder Flame
is your best bet as a max item level cantrip weapon. If you're really opposed to the active you can swap it out with
Rashon, the Immortal Blaze
.
]
Explanation
Due to being an item that will be incredibly hotly contested and that it provides a damage bonus that puts it above and beyond any other option, grabbing this with Bullion seems like the easiest route. We have no issues triggering it, and while it's only a single target benefit making it much more suited to raids, it still brings extra value in Mythic+.
High Prio
for Raid,
Mid Prio
for M+.
]
Explanation
This trinket is likely your best second option but it's much more contested than your other option. I'd reccomend picking this one up first as if you're lucky you'll have your other trinket without having to spend a bullion
]
Explanation
Buy this if you get unlucky and it doesn't drop, It's by far your best trinket. It's not incredibly contested but If you haven't gotten it by now you should definitly splash a bullion on it
]
Explanation
This doesn't really directly increase your damage so it's a pretty low value pick up, It is your best option for the slot and it does provide a nice bump of free survivability so deffinitely pick it up.
]
*
Explanation
This is TECHNICALLY a damage upgrade over any other item in this slot but it's also a pretty hefty loss in suvivability and on some fights it might not even actually give you a dps gain if it lines up poorly.
Best Items to Upgrade for Feral Druid
A continuation from the system added in Season 2 and expanded upon in Season 3, the upgrade system using
Crests
and
Flightstones
continues in Season 4 (explained in this guide). Due to the more powerful items requiring the limited currency of Crests on a weekly lockout, it means your decision making early on can be difficult. A general rule for these upgrades are items you're spending your
Antique Bronze Bullion
on, items you expect to be carrying forward for a long period of time, or slots you don't expect to be acquiring from a higher difficulty or replacing with
Spark of Awakening
crafted gear.
Bullion Purchases
Explanation
Quite simply you're purchasing items from that vendor for a reason - because they're the best items available to you in those slots. They're almost always worth upgrading to the max item level as a priority.
Strong Trinkets
Explanation
Thanks to this system, no matter the situation if you get hold of something such as
Ashes of the Embersoul
or
Manic Grieftorch
, the chances of seeing these on Mythic early are pretty low due to the 3 raids cycling around. It will also free up the crest requirement if you want to invest in some new options for more specific situations if you get hold of them, so is the safest bet for early investment.
Weapon
Explanation
This is your first priority to get high item level, bar none.
Lowest Item Level Pieces
Explanation
Following key pieces, bringing up the item level of pieces you don't expect to get hold of at a higher item level in the near future to remove the Crest requirement is best. Ideally you should do Helm, Chest and Legs first due to their stat budget, but after that go off sims.
